    I have found your channel when I was looking for introduction of Byredo, and I like how you discribe each scent! I subscribed and am about to start watching your other videos from now on.
    I recently bought Eleventh Hour, just like love at first sight …sniff, and now I’m saving some money to buy Reine de Nuit, which also attracted me a lot.
    Byredo is getting quite popular in Japan, but most Japanese youtubers seem to be introducing Blanche or Gypsy Water, which I wasn’t that attracted at a store.

      Welcome to the Tribe! 🔥 Thank you!
      Yeah Byredo overall is a great perfume house, but it can be a bit tricky finding that perfect one to invest in (let's be honest, they are expensive fragrances). So taking your time is always a smart thing. Make sure you watch all 3 of the byredo videos for some guidance.. I love bal d'afrique, pulp, space rage, etc.. Some of the extracts are really nice as well. I also fell in love with Sundazed, which a lot of people think is too simple and boring.. Etc.. Could go on and on with all the ones I enjoy 🤩 Interesting to hear about japanese youtubers and also how Byredo is getting more popular in Japan! Is fragrance something that is important to japanese people? 😊 I.e is it something that most enjoy and something that is part of many peoples daily routines?

      @@rottenrebels Yeeesss, I watched all your 3 videos about Byredo!!!
      Well, I grew up in some Asian countries outside Japan for few years in my life, and fragrance has been part of my life since I was at (international) high school. However, as long as I’ve been working at several environments in Japan, I rarely feel my co-workers wear fragrance. Probably one out of 10 or more, so I sometimes hesitate to use some particular fragrances which are too sweet or spicy, etc. Japanese people seem to be fond of soapy, citrus, white-floral, tea-scent… mild scents in general.
      I hope wearing fragrance become more common in Japan!

      Biblioteque is fast on its way to becoming a signature scent for me this fall and winter. I love that it’s more unisex and not the “traditional” fruity floral, but still somewhat subtle and “likable” enough to others to be work friendly.

      @@tinatian5138 Hi! I reviewed Casablanca lily over here: ua-cam.com/video/uifKoFp76IE/v-deo.html - I like it! It's hard to compare those two because they are (at least to me) so different... If you want a fab floral.. Then try Casablanca Lily.. Otherwise I´d go with Bal D’Afrique.. There's something sort of mysterious, alluring and sensual about that one and I love the way it behaves when you put it on. 😊

      @@rottenrebels I just watched your review video for Casablanca Lily. I have tried Bal D’Afrique, I really loved it, I loved the elegant freshness and airy feeling from Mojave Ghost. But I could not forget how beautiful Bal D’Afrique was, it was little sharp at the opening, then few minutes later the mysterious attraction floral scent grabbed me, I just couldn’t stop sniffing my arm, I have to buy it.
      Thank you for your time and reply.

    I just discovered this brand by chance last weekend on the search for a hand cream. And yes, I opted for the one you picked as the worst “La Tulipe”. And yes, you described me perfectly haha. I am not a fan of perfume and have a very sensitive nose, so I tend to opt for anything without fragrance or barely noticeable. La Tulipe made me change my mind and for someone who doesnt like fragrances it was a leap of faith 😅 For perfume lovers I totally get why it might not exactly be a banger but for people who rarely like scents I think it is a viable option. Its not very exciting, its very floral or tulipy and says “I like tulips but I sure dont like to be the center of attention”. Now I am kind of intrigued to sniff Bal d’Afrique! Loved your video and it was very insightful even for people like me who are not even into perfumes as much.

    • @rottenrebels
      @rottenrebels  2 роки тому +2

      LOVE to hear it! 😊 Yeah Tulipe was not a favourite, mostly because it's super light.. But like most Byredo perfumes it's well-made and smelled good. 🙏 I've sort of met two types of those who always tend to want "light" perfumes.. The ones who are super sensitive and simply can't have heavy and deep perfumes and the ones who are not yet used to more heavy and intense perfumes.. If the latter one can always get used to new levels of intensity by constantly challenging ones nose.. 😊
      Bal d’Afrique is definitely unique, insanely well-made and smells fantastic. I don't think it's too intense in any way and I love how it sort of comes and goes.. One minute you feel it around you (in a light kind of way), the next it's gone (but those around you can pick it up.)
      Think you might enjoy it and I hope your nose can tolerate it since it's so nice!
      Thanks again for the feedback! Made my day! 😊🙏

    do you think i could use super cedar or bal d'afrique as a daily scent?

    • @rottenrebels
      @rottenrebels  10 місяців тому

      hi! I think so for sure. None of them is too heavy or too much anything really to not work as an everyday kind of scent. Maybe bal d'afrique a bit more because of it's freshness and airiness but super cedars woodiness and musk works as well.

    In my opnion,if you pay a lot for parfumes, they should be speciell . I cant understand how people pay that much for exampel, Gypsy Water that are so boring. I own Oud Immortal, Tobacco Mandarind and Elevth Hour, beacuse they are so speciel with attitude. Btw Fun too see new faces om youtube

    • @rottenrebels
      @rottenrebels  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you! I do agree that scents a person buys should feel special. After all you are scenting your body with them 😊 However, "special" is something highly subjective, thus will differ from person to person 😊 Oud Immortel has grown on me quite a bit lately and I'm enjoying it way more than in the beginning.. Tobacco Mandarin is a fab one as well! 🔥👌

    Please which would you recommend between Mojave ghost and Bal d'Afrique...like which would you prefer ro smell on your lady?

    • @rottenrebels
      @rottenrebels  2 роки тому +4

      WOW.. This is so hard because they are both AMAZING 🤩 I LOVE Mojave Ghost with it's woody, floral and slightly sweet blend.. It's musky and powdery in an amazing way and it's just so beautiful. Very soft though with moderate projection.
      bal d'afrique is louder and to me a bit more complex due to it's citrusy and more nuanced floral side together with the woody/fruity sweet side of it.
      it's a tough choice but I think bal d'afrique is a bit more attractive, it's more complex and nuanced, it's definitely more noticable and overall a scent that I just can't ever get enough of or get bored of.
      Mojave Ghost is a beauty though.. And I think it's an amazing and attractive scent on a woman.
      So I would choose bal d'afrique if I had to choose between the two.
      That's just my take on it. Ultimately: go for what you enjoy the most. I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. 😊
