The game is not bad at all, but they should have remastered the Classic Megaman on the Super Nintendo, because if that was the case, the game would have a better soundtrack with more polished graphics. Why is it well known that the Super Nintendo had more potential than the Sega Genesis, but I was still satisfied with the result.
The only reason this game is kind of not very great is because the programmers were not experienced in making game for Genesis. Not because SNES had more potential. However, I agree that games should have been remastered for SNES

Harder. You don't have the pause trick anymore, and Cut Man takes 1 point of damage from the Mega Buster in this version instead of 2, so he's not viable to choose as your 1st to get Elec Beam ASAP, casually at least. The Mega Buster fires slower too which sucks.
But the processor can only do so much when the game's far from well optimized. The slowdown here for example is downright painful at times. But gotta agree on the Genesis/Mega Drive's sound capabilities. It could sound _really_ good when worked with by capable devs. Otherwise... less so.

Mega Man 1 does not have title screen music in this remake so it uses Mega Man 3 title screen music.

Fire man is Dr lights robot. He was reprogrammed to be evil by wily.
