Keen to know the wheel weight glue trick.
Have a Q7 in this week. Resorted to using a caramel wheel in the end, it did the job. But there has to be a better way?!
A really easy method is to spray tar and glue remover (Auto Finesse Oblitarate for example) into a make up removal pad so that it is damp, but not dripping. Then press it against the sticker (you may need a few for long strips of weight stickers). The idea is that the glue remover soaks through the sticker to the adhesive. It can take a little while (10-20 minutes), but the sticker will just peel off like a plaster. I hope this method helps. Jon

Jim if you diary is do busy why don't you take on an employee to help you get through twice as many cars in the same time frame. Time is money.
This is one factor that is stopping me setting up a detailing business, the fact that scalability seems to be so hard as you are always trading time for money. I personally think you should up your prices as I've had a look at them and for the quality of work you do and type of clients you attract, you could probably be making an extra 50% on each car. Imagine that as well as an extra set of hands.

What was better on these (old) engines?
Bartek Schacht Maserati has a long heritage of producing unique racing engines, generally very docile and reliable, despite their chronicle budget problem. Their gran turismo cars used street versions of those engines, specially the 450S V8 and the in line 6 from 250 F and 300 S, both projected by legendary engineer Giulio Alfieri. Of course this last V8 engine doesn’t belong to this gold era, but was the last one designed and produced by Maserati, although with a lack of pedigree, specially after the factory purchase by Alessandro De Tomaso in late 70’s. After 2001 all Maserati engines were produced by Ferrari, which for me was a big loss, because they use to be rivals and their philosophy were quite different. Ferrari always produced proper Sports Car, Maserati always produced gran turismo cars, more friendly and sweet for the driver, to be used daily
