Professional content, thanks. What does it mean that this crypto, Stakenet claims to combine layer 2 protocols to allow cross-chain swaps on layer 3? Does it help resolve the Scalability issue? I'd appreciate it if you answered my question.
“Instead of a one chain rule, we believe the future will be instead be in the formation of a global backend - a blockchain mesh consisting of every chain, technology and service created thus far” - from the Stakenet white paper. That backend consists of the layer 2 (data link) protocols, which will allow competing chains to exist on the same network (if you want more information you would have to look into the specific protocols). Whether or not it helps to resolve the scalability issue depends on what the cost of exchanging between chains ends up to be, but I imagine it would.
