Lavillenie is absolutely not the reason Duplantis got into pole vaulting...that would be his father Greg Duplantis, who was also a champion pole vaulter, who has been training his son since he was about 6. Credit for such a champion as young Duplantis must be properly and fairly attributed.
Taking a break from Figure Skating until my Golden Boy Yuzuru Hanyu return in the competitions. First time watching this sport and I finished it in one sitting without skipping LOL. I'm a winter sport fan but after watching this I have new favorites to root for - Zernikel, Sasma & the great Duplantis.
