So glad to hear you mention Incredible Crash Dummies. That was such an underrated toy, which unfortunately makes them a little harder to stumble upon in the wild. Like you though, I kept all my toys from my childhood, so I've still got a lot.
Your brother was essentially Sid from Toy Story, though less macabre. Still think that poor Sid was misunderstood. How the Hell should he have known toys were sentient creatures?!
Young Master!! Seriously one of the best Jackie Chan films ever. The bench fighting guy! And the ridiculously long final battle with that deadly old dude. Pure kung-fu GOLD right there, Dave.
I made VHS movies with my figure too!! Got pretty good at it by the time I was collecting DBZ toys. Growing up on a farm in Kentucky allowed for a lot of free time and my friends were always down to take the long trip out to my place and make action figures videos all night long. Wish I had still had some. We did find some of the non-toy videos involving zombies, samurai and kung fu and uploaded them to UA-cam... still looking for some of the earlier ones with toys.
My buddy and I growing up had a lot of TMNT figures, also a few Toxic Crusaders and Bucky O'Hare figures (like 40-50something combined) between the two of us, so we would pool our dudes together, and then pick teams and then grab all the hardcover books from his room, make ridiculous fortresses and then have these epic action figure wars, it was pretty spectacular. One of the few distractions that pulled us away from the Super Nintendo back in the day.
As a kid I had a Samurai Leonardo, Trench Coat Donatello, Surfin Mikey and Space Suit Raph. I also had that OG Michael Keaton Batman with a grappling hook belt buckle. Cant wait to see part 2 of this video.
You just picked yourself up another SUB brother because I believe in supporting all the DAVE's on YT! And it just so happens that you also cover a genre that I am interested in as well!! Kudos to you and your channel and best regards! -Dave
Thanks gamey “Davey”. This broke my heart all over again; I didn’t keep my figures! But after this video, straight to the eBay.....”Space Suit Raphael” is coming home!! Thanks for your great uploads as always. Stay distracted!
Awesome video! All my stuff is still in bins at my parents house. I'm glad they never get rid of stuff, lol! I also made stop motion videos with a couple of my friends in middle school, only we were using Star Wars figures, lol!
Nice nostalgia trip! I know some retro topics have been done to death, but I would like to see what different creators think about the same topics. I would love to see you do more retro 80's-90's videos on stuff other than games. More toys, cereals, experiences like trips to Blockbuster and Toys R Us etc. Don't let the fact that a topic has been covered by others stop you from giving us your perspective, especially since you have top notch production value that rivals the likes of Game Sack or Game Chasers or LGR, and have a charming screen presence. Keep it up Gaming David!
MAN!!!!! SOOOOOO many memories!!! I had a bunch of those Dol--action figures too!!! the Baclk OG batman the leonardo with the sword....man I really wish my mom wouldnt have thrown all my things away...she literally threw away EVERYTHING...this is such a cool video. I remember I liked to much the cloth cape on that Batman that I asked my mom to do cloth capes for a lot of my dol-Action Figures lol
Some how, through the power of UA-cam, I was reminded of the smell that new Batman toys had. Can anyone else remember that? That new plastic-e smell. The Batman returns new Batman toys smell? That brought me back!
Hey Dave, speaking of stop motion, do you wanna hear a weird story? So me and my family went to Scotland and we visited the grave that inspired some of the names in Harry Potter, and me and my sister went down to a walk way and noticed a guy siting on a little thing next to a grave, we thought he might have been on the phone so we didn't talk to him. But as we got closer, we noticed something, he wasn't talking on his phone, but either making stop motion or (the more weird part) he was playing with his action figures and talking to them, because this was a grown man and he was sitting on someones grave playing with dolls. So we both gave him a weird glance and we just kept walking.
Those Slime Louis and Ray - and their packs and accessories - are literally the ones I traded in to Walt when he first opened. Glad they ended up in the hands of another local collector who'll enjoy them. :-)
I saw Mr. Smiley and I'm trying to pretend I know what line he's from... Thank god you mentioned it's modded. I was like oh yes this is from wacky creatures circa 1988 I believe..
Though it's a bit of a bummer to hear you say you ain't a fan of Transformers (Being a Transformers fan myself) this vid was still a pretty fun watch. Most of the toys I had a kid have gone missing or just broken orz
I’m amazed your parents (or grandparents?) bought you so many toys! These things were expensive, especially the vehicles. You guys were spoiled. Lol. My brothers and I only had a few toys each, and thanks to my grandpa a Super Nintendo.
I had the 89 Toy Biz Batman, Kenner Tech Shield (gold and black with jet pack) Batman, and the 92 Kenner Arctic Strike (I believe was the name. It’s the white and black with armor one you have)Batman. I only ever had the proton pack from the Real Ghostbusters. Had a ton of TMNT.
I remember watching the lego stop-motion way back when Dave still went by DcDohl. Ask a super hero was comedy gold by the way. My friends and i still quote it!
I kept my action figures in a bag too, then I recently got them out and they too were sticky. I kept them in the attic while it was hot up there. I am wondering if it's in fact the heat that makes them sticky.
Oh Blockbusters. They only reason I made it through elementary and high school. Parents would let me rent a movie AND a SNES game if I if and my sister made good scores on tests every Friday. I miss straining my eyes to try to read the labels on returned videos sitting on the back counter to see if a copy of a hot new release was about to be available.
This was an amazing episode. I love watching people my age reminisce about their childhood toys. I still have 95% of my old toys. Many are the exact ones Dave shows here. Can't wait for the next episode. Going to shamelessly plug my Instagram where I'm sharing photos of my own toy collection. You can find me as "MinisPixelArt" there, for anyone who's interested. In honor of Game Dave, today I'll put up a picture of my The Real Ghostbusters figures... and Ecto 1.
All the plastic used on those giant Extreme Ghostbusters figures' proton packs, but they never made a figure Garrett and his wheelchair? That would never fly today.
I LOVE this! Those bags are so cool, and its awesome you still have them all. Sadly most of mine were sold or given away by my parents to make "space". I had Batman figures, inc the Batman Returns Batmobile. Don't know if you've seen our first Pixels Ltd episode, but it has a quick section showing original Ghostbusters figures (inc boxed Ecto 1!), original Turtles on card and Gen1 Transformers in box :)
I got my old TMNT action figures down from my parents attic last year....they were all sticky from the plastic aging/melting or whatever too. Very unfortunate.
OMG! You're an overgrown kid...I LOVE YOU! ... lol... I just found you by pure mistake and I'm so glad I found you. I was thinking about some micro machines and transformers from the early 80's... we didn't have anything to eat but my boys 5-6 yro had their transformers.... hahaha a bit of exaggeration but you know what I mean. Dude really a Ms. Pac machine? OMG!!! I use to play games for money, ciggys, or whatever was of some sort of value. Man you took me there... thanks for the trip down memory lane... I'm not familiar with your channel do you sell your toys? I would love to find some micro machines... you've made my day today March 25, 2020... blessings! Be safe🖖
Awesome video, nice change of pace. If you feel like letting anything go to a fellow collector or feel like seeing my collection HMU. Game on Game Dave!
This video is great!! I used to keep my only remaining figures (that my parent's didn't sell in yard sales) in a TMNT suitcase. Ended up trading it all in when I moved to Japan... but got obsessed after a few years and now have all of them back, mint loose and carded.... plus a ton of vintage Japanese toys that I didn't have access too as a kid that I would have loved. Yay for action figures!!
Fantastic episode! Finding childhood treasures is always becoming a kid again. The memories just flood back.
How the Hell should he have known toys were sentient creatures?!
this is by far the best channel I've found, better than all the other retro game crews. Hillarious
Action figures and toys contain life force itself....!!! They give us joy just by being close by!
Young Master!! Seriously one of the best Jackie Chan films ever. The bench fighting guy! And the ridiculously long final battle with that deadly old dude. Pure kung-fu GOLD right there, Dave.

This is an awesome toy collection. I really like all of the different types of Batman action figures that you have there. Thanks for sharing!
This was awesome to watch!! Thank you !! Childhood memories all over again @ 1am!!
The jumpsuit Mario's head is the badguy from Toxic Crusaders. Awesome toyline.
As a kid I had a Samurai Leonardo, Trench Coat Donatello, Surfin Mikey and Space Suit Raph. I also had that OG Michael Keaton Batman with a grappling hook belt buckle.
Cant wait to see part 2 of this video.

So much fun! Makes me want to go through my parents’ basement and see what I can find!
Nice nostalgia trip! I know some retro topics have been done to death, but I would like to see what different creators think about the same topics. Tangibly Distracted?
Analog distractions are wonderful too my friend, and you don't get much more analog than chunky 80s action figures!
The mysterious black mystery bag of mysteries. How mysterious!
Some how, through the power of UA-cam, I was reminded of the smell that new Batman toys had. Can anyone else remember that? That new plastic-e smell. The Batman returns new Batman toys smell? That brought me back!
awesome old school toys Dave. I still have all my TMNT figures and GI Joes. Love it. Glad my mom never got rid of them.
As soon as you twirled that little proton pack I was back in my childhood.
My town had one of the last block busters to close, and when the store did close, it was just renamed with the same logo and still exists today.
Hey Dave, speaking of stop motion, do you wanna hear a weird story?

Awesome Dave! I love it.
I'd love to see the stop motion animations! I made lots of animations for College Cable (but I started in High School)
Your brother is like the kid from toy story, with on the messed up toys haha.
I had that 1989 caped Batman figure growing up!...minus the cape. Fell off haha
Fantastic more toys please Dave ☺ now I really want to see those home movies!
Damn, your parents must've been loaded to afford all those toys! We had part of a Slinky, but I straightened it.
Those Slime Louis and Ray - and their packs and accessories - are literally the ones I traded in to Walt when he first opened. Glad they ended up in the hands of another local collector who'll enjoy them. :-)
I swear they're not my action figures. They're my brothers. I don't know how they ended up in my bag.
I saw Mr. Smiley and I'm trying to pretend I know what line he's from... Thank god you mentioned it's modded. I was like oh yes this is from wacky creatures circa 1988 I believe..
"plastic breaks down" - I think you're good for the next 10 thousand years or so... lol
Though it's a bit of a bummer to hear you say you ain't a fan of Transformers (Being a Transformers fan myself) this vid was still a pretty fun watch. Most of the toys I had a kid have gone missing or just broken orz

I wish I grew up with GameDave so I could steal his toys.
I remember watching the lego stop-motion way back when Dave still went by DcDohl. Ask a super hero was comedy gold by the way. My friends and i still quote it!
Diggin the variety of videos comn out, Toy Dave ;)
I kept my action figures in a bag too, then I recently got them out and they too were sticky. I kept them in the attic while it was hot up there. I am wondering if it's in fact the heat that makes them sticky.
Dude, all my TMNT action figures are now sticky like that! It's only the TMNT ones, though. Weird.
More toys! Can’t wait to see next video
This vid is awesome. I wish I still had my TMNT toys from back then. I haven't thought about that transforming Master Splinter in a couple decades.
Excellent VHS find
Man that is nostalgia at its
finest! Mom!!! Why the heck did you sale all my toys that day when I was at school!!!' Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
Enjoy the toys sir. They bring out the child in us.
This was an amazing episode. I love watching people my age reminisce about their childhood toys. I still have 95% of my old toys. Many are the exact ones Dave shows here. Can't wait for the next episode.

Classic broken tie Egon. Thqt brings me back.
Ooh, that was some good nostalgia.
All the plastic used on those giant Extreme Ghostbusters figures' proton packs, but they never made a figure Garrett and his wheelchair? That would never fly today.
Man action fugres and overall toys fro the 90's were so much better and done way better than they do now
Awesome stuff dave
I had several of those and I loved my bat mobile, had the same one
Haven't heard of this Toy channel before...
We have the same dehumidifier. This is good.
Great video Game Dave, please do more :)
Awesome video Dave 👍🏻
I used to collect toys too until I realized it was a complete waste of money because I'm an adult now.
I’d kill for that Garfield duffel bag

Entertaining video game Dave
When I was young (I'm a 2003 kid) I loved going to blockbuster with grandma but there were always DVDs but not VHS. Now is a pizzeria
Hope you find some Incredible Crash Dummies in the sequel. Very cool.
My favorite TMNT character was always Man with Rat in Chest.
Sick bro keep up the good work 🧟♂️
Where did you say that crystal was?
Gotta watch it now, but for a different reason.
I LOVE this! Those bags are so cool, and its awesome you still have them all. Sadly most of mine were sold or given away by my parents to make "space".
Needs more vintage Chan movie music.
