100s of hours later, I'm still finding new things in this game. I know I said the last video was the last in the series, but it's been a year since I started posting them, so I couldn't resist coming back one more time. I hope you guys enjoyed these videos as much as I enjoyed making them!

I hoped my obsession with this game would die after I stopped making these videos last year, but I can't resist. I've learnt some more details since then that I wanted to put into a video. There's a bunch more I want to share with you, but I think these would be better in a separate video which I hope to make soon.
This game continues to blow my mind with its endless details. GTA6 will most likely be announced later this year, and this might explain why it's taken them so long. Enjoy the video!

The line "Go and don't look back" also perfectly describes how John doomed himself by not following that advice. He runs away and manages to rebuild his life. But he keeps thinking of Arthur and the gang. As soon as he gets the chance to avenge Arthur by killing Micah, he takes it. He essentially looks back at the past, he can't let it go and faces it instead of running away. Killing Micah is exactly how Ross found him, leading to the events of RDR1.

Well if he never did that RDR1 would not have happened at all. But sadly it did and that revenge against Micah caused John in the end to be killed by Agent Ross. Talk about a Butterfly Effect huh? But imagine a Universe where John didnt get killed and that makes me wonder how a possible RDR3 would workout in all honesty.
yeaa, no. micah was already being hunted by the pinkertons. ross found his body not too long after he was killed. and also, john literally settled right next to blackwater. whether or not he killed micah, ross would've found him. he'd probably get forced to kill micah anyways, and then dutch, and he and his family would've been massacred.

@@FunWithGuru I'm not expecting much out of GTA 6. Maybe it will be really good and have attention to detail and realism, maybe it will just be very shallow and rushed with devs who don't know anything about anything. We'll see though, I guess.

@@lukky6648 GTA Onine changed alot. Even though GTA V was a terrific game, it could have been much better, if they followed up on their original promise to further develop the story in DLC. The way the story ends makes it obvious there was more to be had. Also in Online, things got increasingly whack and outrageously expensive, alienating normal players both from nigh unattainable content and players in posession of that content, that makes them way too overpowered. Combine that with the universal trend of every AAA studio, no exceptions, that games get increasingly grindy, lazy in design and optimization+bug fixes and there's good reason to be cynical and pessimistic about the next GTA.
Your ending was absolutely perfect, the music - everything. I don't write comments but I had to sit back and appreciate the little master piece you have made, bravo sir!

I know it wasn't covered in this video, but the cut scene where Arthur is riding and running through all the people and events of his life I literally teared up. My wife thought I'd lost my mind. I told her it aint no different than her crying while watching one of those sappy movies. If the makers did their jobs right, then you get emotionally involved with that character.
When I learned that he will die, I stopped playing the game. After 5 years, I finally played the whole game, felt like loosing a real person in life.

Dude....when I was about 3/4 of the way through i kinda figured he was gonna die having tb and all BUT my 14 year old son came in one day while I was playing and was like "did Arthur die yet"(he already played i) I was so pissed I didn't play again for about 3 months
@@rickt9569I played RDR2 for the first time on PC and somehow I managed to avoid any spoilers but I remember that accidentally I saw one comment about Arthur dying when I was in Clemens Point chapter I think. I was angry as fuck and it kinda ruined my playthrough.
No i totally agree, it was one hell of a ride with Arthur and they did an amazing job with RDR2. My daughter and I played this together and I knew he was doomed as soon as he started coughing… one way or another , we both cried when we finally pushed ourselves to finish his story, but since we had never played the previous game we found it impossible to play as John so we stopped. It really did feel like losing a friend when we came to Arthur’s conclusion. However now that RDR available to play on PS5 we plan on playing it.
Rockstar went from GTA 5, to bloating the corpse of Online, to the absolute masterpiece of RDR2... then destroyed the Definitive Trilogy. They're greedy but they still managed to make one of the best games of all time.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has to be one of the finest video games ever made and the fact that we're still finding stuff to this day is a testament of how much love and care they put into the main story.
Arthur was portrayed excellently by Roger and written by people who understood what made him work.
Imagine, the devs had so much more in store for us. I wonder what the game would've been like if they had the time to have all their visions realised.
Any game that takes the time to add qualities into dialogue choices and how doing certain events can change those or the story around are great Witcher 3, though less sandboxy with random events like RD2, has the same kinda detail.
I have played the story 12 times, completed to 100% 9 times, and I am on my 13th . I found new things or heard new dialogue nearly every time. Found all of these. This game is by far the most detailed I ever played.
11 months ago you'd already spent over 600 hours on just the campaign, excluding the 9 times you also 100%ed the game which likely brings it up to roughly 2000 hours. Now, nearly a year later, how many hours do you think you've put into RDR2? By the way I'm not saying this to be rude, I'm kind of praising you. I've put over 4000 hours into GTA 5, and I've been playing a lot of RDR2 recently, so I get how you can just play one game over and over and over and still love it to bits.

Hey, there is also a neat detail in the last camp, where you can follow Pearson, when he goes for a walk. He will tell Arthur to stop following him and that he is not leaving, just going for a walk.
Amazing as always, fun fact, over a half a month ago I finished playing RDR1, and the end when John said “Go and don’t look back” I had a feeling that I heard it somewhere in the game but didn’t remember from which it was, now after watching Guru I got refreshed.
Im not sure how youre able to make me feel so teary over some small details, None the less bravo another 10/10 video.

I just completed the mission with Mary @4:50. I literally just shaved, showered, and bought some new clothes to impress the lady. She still insisted that I could have cleaned myself up. Women, you can never win! Sad thing really is, we went to the theater afterwards. It was the best date I've been on in 20 years. No joke. lol

The fact that Arthur is repeating Dutch’s words could bring the meaning into a new light as in “mocking” him , because if Dutch gave Arthur all he had and Arthur is in a terrible state it is mocking Dutch for having nothing to give, then the “I did” would be making it a kind of rhetorical question at Dutch like Dutch should question how much he gave although the original sense of the dialogue fits better and is more plausible as I doubt he would spend his last moments mocking Dutch yet it still had lots of emotional value I just feel that Arthur was above that and wanted to portray his message

I see it more as a developer mistake, where they accidentally put dialogue meant for Arthur in the recording room.

I don't know if you've shown this in your videos before, but if you tie up the serial killer without knocking her out or killing her and take her to the sheriff, they'll have a dialogue with each other while you lock her up in jail and days later you can watch her being hung up on Valentine for his crimes.

I actually managed to hogtie and just left her there. A few days later the townsfolk were talking about a lady serial killer being hung.

seriously man how do you make your videos have such an impeccable sound quality, you can perceive every nuance of the sound of the gun and the dialogues, even the sound of the wind breeze, which software or technique you use?
I think I just balance the audio so the quietest sounds aren't too different to the loudest sounds.
Playing this game without a HUD has to be one of the most cinematic things it has to offer

I can't even fathom how much work went into this game. I've done two playthroughs with hundreds and hundreds of hours in and a couple of these are totally new to me. Such a masterpiece and such a shame they just let it go now. I'm not a fan of Online and would pay whatever they asked for a DLC or an RDR3.

You get quality work like this by working your ass off and not crying about a few 100 hour work weeks here and there.
