Part 3: • 13 Secrets I Never Fou...
When researching for my last video, I came across a bunch of cool details that I'd never seen before. I only wanted to use a handful of them, but a lot of people seemed to like the video so I'm back with some more!
Music: • North Backcountry - Ігри
Its so great how everyone's Arthur Morgan is different. It's their own man. It's like totally separate games we all are experiencing. Such a perfect game.
You mean visually? Like hairstyle, dress, and weight?
@@wrenboy2726 exactly. I thought that part was going to be unnecessary and a hassle to maintain, but it really helps you feel linked to your character.
@@rob3231 Yeah I agree. Just with the layering of clothing alone you can look pretty unique. Factor in the dozens of hairstyles and facial hair choices and it makes a massive difference in player customization. Not even considering the handful of bodyweight variants.
My Arthur looks like James hetfield
Such a perfect Game? What? How? The Core Gameplay is completely broken. I dont get how People can enjoy this mess, or is there anything special about the xbox version I need to know? Cause this Game sucks hard on xbox. It takes 200 years just to draw my weapon from my horse, I cant ged rid of shitty weapons, I cant sell my Horse for no logical Reason, I lose honor for breathing, I get a Bounty for existing and instead of friendly greeding my arthur constantly shoots people in the face. I HATE THIS GAME
Sadie calling herself mrs kilgore is the cutest thing ever
How did she know about Arthur's pseudonym? Does he reveals it on the way there? I remember him talking about Mr. Pearson's letters but not his alter ego.
@@zensoredparagonbytes3985 It wasn't just Arthur's. The whole gang used the Tacitus Kilgore name for business.
And aruther needs to start calling himself fishmen
@@zensoredparagonbytes3985 he told he also goes by the name otw to the general store right before that scene lol.
@@anthonybaggett87Ok, I should play that mission again because I don't recall it. Played more focused on the hunting, fishing, and exploring, with Arthur that I might have forgetten little details like that Thanks for pointing out where to find it, partner🤠👍🏼
I'm so impressed with how well Wrobel was able to learn English, especially after having such troubles put upon him.
On that note, if you don't steal his horse, it will appear in the Valentine stables, indicating that he sold it to recoop some of his losses.
i think there might be the same horse breed there regardless but i like that thought!
What dress was it? Never knew Arthur could wear that Shemag!
I didn’t know you could take the guys house on my first play through but I felt bad for him and didn’t even take all his cigarettes since He had plenty. And why the hell did a German man lend money to a poor Russian? How did they even communicate to do the initial loan
@@CornholioPuppetMaster Wróbel is Polish, not Russian, but I guess he was easier to trick into getting in debt when he couldn't understand the deal he got offered by Strauss
I like to think he knew English the whole time and was just trying to weasel his way out of paying
3:26 It's an incredible detail, we can see that his English is much better now, when we came with Arthur to collect the debt he couldn't speak a word of English, now he speaks fluent English.
One cool detail I found while playing today was concerning a house robbery at Catfish Jacksons. The first time playing, the occupant Algie Davidson attacked me so I just killed him. But keeping him alive on my second playthrough, he also turns out to be one of Leopold Strauss's money lending targets and if you rob his place without killing him before you do the debt collection, he recognises you and mentions the robbery when you go to collect the debt.
I did the same but in a different order. First I did the debt collection for Strauss without killing anybody. Then a couple chapters later I went back to the house to rob it and they recognized me. This time I killed the father but let the son live. Then while playing as john in the epilogue I robbed the house again and found out that the son had become an alcoholic like his father.
@@andrekirss9006 In the beta version Arthur was able to freely roam around New Austin. When I think that it was removed, I literally boil in anger.
If you kill him and go back later his son is still there and recognises you as the killer
@@darrenanderson2031 I wish Arthur never exiled Strauss from a camp.
For me it was different. Just yesterday got money lending business for Algie. But i had already robbed and killed his son. Then visited him again too and hogtied him and stole from outside blue crate. When i went for mission his house doors won't open and the mission never gets triggered. Mission totally glitched for me for the rest of my playthrough
The amount of detail in this game is unlike anything ever before. I think it's clear to say that no other game has even remotely as many details as RDR2
Not even RDR?
The Witcher 3 likely has RDR2 beat for missable scenes and dialogue at least. Check out xLetalis if you're interested. He's been making Witcher videos for years and is still uncovering new details.
@@DeathnoteBB RDR 1 was amazing but it didn't have as close to as many details as RDR 2 and all around was a lot less than RDR 2, idk why you'd think a game from 2010 would have more anything than RDR 2.
@@urmyt00b not even close
@@urmyt00b poor take!!

Arthur: Yep, It's Done
*Casually Throws Body To Foreman's Desk*
Lmao
Ive beaten this game 6 times. Ive reached 100% completion twice. Ive easily logged more than 1000 hours of play time. I still haven’t seen some of these. This is without a doubt the greatest game ever made. Also another thing that is showcased here but isnt mentioned is that between 1899 and 1907 Wrobel’s English improves greatly. Another awesome detail.
Quite a bit of time. I've logged some time too, but still "new" to the game.
Have you come across any more African American cloth dolls like the one on top of the IKZ trunk in the Van Horn fence?
I may have missed them if they exist, but the only other I've found is in the armoire at Aberdeen Pig Farm. There's a white doll, too, but the dress is a different color from the one at Van Horn.
Just wondering if that was a clue of some sort.
@@ArthurLamoyne hmm no not that I can think of. I hope this isnt a “spoiler” for you but Im not sure if you’re aware no one has ever found princess IKZ. Shes either not actually “findable” in the game or its the dev’s greatest buried mystery. But it’s worth still looking. Her ped model is in the game files along with a cutscene and dialogue where you can turn her in to the Annesburg jail… but not a single player has ever been able to trigger it. Just figured I’d let ya know so you dont feel like youre wasting your time with that mystery…though you never know, you might be the first one to stumble upon something. Happy hunting!
@@reginaangelica751
It's not a spoiler, thank you. :D
I do like thinking on it, though. As I've said before, I've spent so much time looking for the princess, I should change my name to Mario.
Anyway, thanks for the info! Best wishes.
Meanwhile Ive had it since day one, never completed and still get bored after 10 minutes of sluggish barely responsive controls.
I killed him in 1899
I absolutely love the details they did for time passing between Arthur and John and the fact they went as far as to drastically improve Wrobel's speech fasinates me.
I love how with all the cold and rude behavioral secrets found here, you balance it out at the end. 5 of them were morally wrong, 5 morally ambiguous depending on the situation and then the end containing that moment with Arthur and Sadie. It doesn't give a feeling of annoyance, but leaves one of, albeit temporary, concern. We all know Arthur and Mary didn't get along too well but Arthur and Sadie had a genuine Chemistry.
I love this game very much, albeit I am infuriated with the person who decided to kill Arthur off.
@@tavellclinton9256 i love how you spoiled the part that mattered but decided not to say who it was
EDIT: nvm if u meant the story writers rather than the character im sorry
@@soob5856 It was Lenny.
Spoiler alert.
@@Elcore LEEENNNNYYYYY
Here's your Pulitzer bro
3:35, I'm suprised Wrobel learns english, nice detail.
That "Mr.Kilgore" comment from Sadie hits me in the feels everytime. Arthur should have been with her instead of that ungrateful Mary.
Agreed.
every time i play this all i want to do is slip 1 up sadie, shes badass and her accent gets me
I don't think Mary was ungrateful. Of course its easy to dislike her from Arthur's perspective but her side of rhe story is actually pretty reasonable. If you want to marry and have a family (and a future) with someone you love but that person is constantly running away from the law and has a bounty in its head, i would also have backed away even if I still love him and it hurts.
Mary invite Arthur with her to run away Arthur refuse because of his royalty to Dutch
I always thought that too, but then I kept reminding that pesky tuberculosis. Arthur would have died no matter what.
The insta fail mission design actually discourage people for doing something different/ opposite from the task at hand. Feel bad for people at rockstar that me and most people missed details like this. Hope they fix this in gta 6
Absolutely SIR! This I can agree with 👍
the amount of times i’ve laughed and shook my head before turning the game off after getting a ridiculous mission fail
darkviperau agrees
Like when you can’t kill tillys abuser in the first couple missions is SO ANNOYING
The housers are gone, prob there’ll be more leeway on how to approach the objectives
god damn, taking the horse from Wrobel just makes his lines even more depressing :(
Wróbel is a pipsqueak. He can't stand up for himself. Ten cykor boi się nawet własnego cienia.
To be fair his horse is one of my personal favorites In the game so it makes me not feel so bad every time I take it
what horse is it? fox trotter?
@@Matthew-ln9wj it's a Hungarian half bred. The color of it I find super unique
@@tavellclinton9256 To be fair. Kinda hard to stand up for yourself when a 260, 5'8 angry man speaking a different language you fully know starts demanding money. And starts beating you up...Oh and he's fully armed.
4:07 if a jacked topless man kicks in your door to fight you with only his fists, maybe you should've surrendered
10:26 that was actually kinda wholesome
After the "horse testicles react realistically to weather" thing came out i knew this game was going to have insane minuscule details being discovered years after its release. Glad to see i was right because this means more Guru videos.
Thanks for all the work, your videos are easily the best of all the platform, they are a whole vibe.
Thanks so much! I still have a few more videos planned about RDR2. I'm not done milking it just yet.
@@FunWithGuru good luck I cant wait to watch them
I feel like most people haven't seen these because 90% of the time you try to do something different than a mission asks you to, it's an instant fail and you have to restart the mission
the prime example i can recall somebody finding was a point in the story where you need to kill a guy who has locked himself in a room. the person playing found a way to the room from the outside through the window, but it wouldnt let them go in. so they thew an explosive in the room from the outside and killed the guy. they got a game over stating the important NPC they were supposed to kill had died. its because they didnt follow the exact scripted event of (i think)breaking down the door and having the dude die in a cutscene.
Sadge😮💨😔
@@ArcRay20 mission?
@@Gameferret16191 idk, i watched somebody play the game once and learned about it after at some point. i think its the prison island part of the story?
You’re right, a lot of missions in RDR2 are like this. You will fail if you complete objective your own way. The shining example is the stealth mission at the oil refinery, try to access the room on the 2nd floor any other way than how the game wants you to and NOPE.
It’s maddening because they have subtle details and changes for when you do certain things, like in this video, but then obvious things like the one you mentioned OP (or the one I did) that are wildly obvious; they don’t have alternate options for. So when you attempt obvious divergent methods ad you fail. Why would I try to go through the front door when Micah says go through the back during the heat of a shoot-out when the stakes are life and death?
Rdr2 is by far my favorite game I have ever played, the graphics and the attention to detail is absolutely amazing, there is no other game ever mad that comes close to this masterpiece.
A cool detail i had happen to me that I haven’t seen anyone else mention happened in my third playthrough… I was in camp after rescuing Sean and everyone was singing and stuff, and so I had my Arthur sing. Then I walked off to Kieran while he was still singing and stood there for a bit. He was staring at me and then the song ended. The next morning I walked over to him and greeted him and he said something like, “what in the hell were you singing last night?” I’m not sure of other characters will do that if Arthur walks up to them while singing, but…. Just a fun detail! :)
I love how Arthur looks like a 80's rockstar with this jacket and nothing underneath xD
Clearly a mod cause can't do that with the normal game
@@NIGHTSTALKER848 you can I've done it without mods.
@@xxcrimsonkissxx8804 how though cause on PS4 don't think it's possible maybe on PC lol

*throws body on table while foreman stares in awe*
Ten cały Wróbel to żałosna miernota. Zawsze mu spuszczam manto i go zabijam po odzyskaniu od niego długu.
Throughout the entire time together, you get a sense Arthur and Sadie were literally made for each other. I think Sadie puts it best at the start of the mission where you save Abigail, when she says both her and Arthur are like ghosts, and it's very much true. Neither have their own children still alive, neither have a spouse still with them, both are usually pretty emotionless / merciless, and both heavily doubt the gang's activities and Dutch's plans. They see themselves as the faceless guardians of the gang, rather than big contributing members. They are the undoubtedly best living gunslingers in the gang (sorry John), and they don't quite fit in with everyone else.
I feel like you make some of the game developers as well as the people who worked on the game happy, because they get to see someone got to appreciate their hard work!
Love how a lotta these are just evil shit most people would never do, really raises my hope for humanity
People act nicer towards npc than real people you can keep your hopes low.
i would never take mr. wrobels horse
@@maple5714 I do because I'm a badass
@@maple5714 neither, it wasn’t that much of an upgrade to mine so i shot it.
Ow if you saw my playthough you would really lose all hope.
love how he plops the body on the table
I finished the game on release and found there was nothing much left to do after the ending. Watching these videos has me wanting to replay the game. Which is exactly what I'll do.
Wow, 2 RDR2 "details you missed" videos with all details I ACTUALLY missed. Love your vids Guru, seriously you're the best!!!
I always leave the polish guy his horse and as much of his valuables and food as I can. Damn you rockstar for making me care about random npcs
I had to record that part like 10 times to get it just right. Felt bad every time.
I'm the pure opposite damn npc's lucky i let him keep one thing that's his life. i swear irl im nice lol
I'm taking everything including the horse those NPC can do one
@@FunWithGuru can you shoot his horse?
I always feel guilty, during my first playthrough I took his wedding ring, and I realize now that you could leave without taking it
Ever since I first learned about the fact that you can sell the bracelet it’s always made me think about items that are unique, Catherine’s brooch, the meteorites, etc. what other potential hidden scenes are there if you have these items on you?
too bad money becomes so utterly pointless later on in the game
On my first and second playthrough, I never sold Jimmy Brooks pen. I figured Arthur would be buried with it if I didn’t sell it or maybe it was in Arthur’s satchel which he gave to John
The only item that I know of that does something, is if you collect all the meteorites, they give you some hot weather resistance. Fairly useless though, because weather resistance isn't even a big mechanic in the game anyways. But overall there really is nothing to do with unique items, sadly. I had wished that they would at least be displayed in John's house, but nope. They really are just for your own inventory collection. I even held on to things like necklaces and other jewelry in case you could give it to someone at some point, but again, nope. One thing to always do though, is refuse any items people try to give you. It usually leads to a little extra dialogue and gives you a big karma boost. I especially like the one where you're helping the braithwaite girl escape with her boyfriend and she tries to give you a fancy bracelet.
After Arthur gets sick, it really just feels bad to even be chasing after valuables at all, because it just makes him seem petty, taking something he won't even live long enough to spend, that would help the other person more. I didn't even take money from the box with the woman in the cabin who you teach how to hunt, but since it's not a cutscene you don't get any extra dialogue for that. These are really just tokens for people who power through the game without doing much side quests, in case they really need the extra money.
I'm pretty sure there's nothing left to discover in the game at this point, unless it's somehow really really obscure with lots of special conditions required, because basically every inch of the map has been combed over, and even all the game files checked, and they've found cut content here and there, but nothing that would indicate anything people haven't already documented. A lot of secret stuff was actually discovered by people who combed through the voice acting audio files and all the map/letter text in the game files. Everything else left that seems like a mystery, is just part of cut content.
The Wrobel part was truly sad as hell. It's the part that establishes Arthur as an amoral (or close enough) thug.
Well, the whole story is about his redemption
i didn't take his horse or rings, only food and invaluable things. I couldn't
I like how his English has improved dramatically over the years that passed after Arthur died.
If you're gonna live in a country, being able to communicate effectively with both people that rob you and the law enforcement that catches them is pretty important. Having a grasp on basic conversation is priority #1 if you're gonna live in a country that doesn't commonly speak your native tongue.
Embassies and state sponsored translators have kind of alleviated this issue a bit in the modern age, but it's still important. Otherwise, you might have an irritated native that will resort to hitting you in place of language if they're robbing you. Because, well... Everyone understands the language of pain. Lol.
1:08 That NPC was so close to changing EVERYTHING
I followed Sadie too and was so surprised she reacted to my presence. The amount of detail in this game is insane.
9:41 That little, subtle duck he does pretty much says it all about this game's attention to detail.
What a beautiful scene at the end especially with Chris Remo playing in the background. I always wondered what it would’ve been like to play as Arthur on a ranch with Sadie, as how we play as John, with his Abigail and jack.
There's actually a video somewhere like that, where they modded it so Arthur gets married to Mary and lives in John's house, and it's actually done pretty well because it has more than just John's scenes, it has a whole wedding with a preacher.
This is an example of a well made game. it’s soooo detailed they thought of almost every possibility and I love it
Enjoyed both vids a lot! Thank you for them.
I bought rdr2 the day it came out; In fact it was the last game I actually went into GameStop to buy. Thank you for posting these, as I and I’m sure many others are hopping back into it and are looking for more than the videos we watched years ago

Wroebels English has improved over the years
I like how wrobel Massively improved on his English from seven years ago and got a gun to defend himself and his property
Wow, just remarkable. This game still has me in awe.
The amount of details put into this game is unfathomable
The ending was beautiful ❤ and the best. Thank you bro
I appreciate the detail of Arthur being shirtless and hunky, a secret all along
Love Your content, bro, You're awesome! it's always a happy moment when a new video arrives
Absolutely brilliant thankyou for both videos
The ending is so wholesome. 😭 (but this is why this game is so great. I didn't even know about most of these.)
A masterpiece, this game will always be my number 1.
It always pleases me to see a fellow outlaw who only has one rifle equipped at max, often just the revolvers
I'm the same, I just can't stand the look of 2 rifles crossback on Arthur, it's really quite annoying when the game glitches them on Arthur's back for missions lol it looks so bad
@@yesdude3914 yeah, I always feel like the caddy for the cowboy I actually wanna play when this happens lol
It just doesnt look cinematic with 2 long arms on you, its over doing it too
Omfg THANK YOU! thought i was the only one. My favorite is either the pump-action or lever action shotgun
@@dr._breens_beard I like to mainly just have the Evans on my shoulder, but I use the pump action depending on the situation as well
I love how you never have Arthur wearing a shirt. XD Great video, thanks!
This was very calming to watch.
I always loved Sadie. Never knew about that ending. She loved Arthur more.
God i love this game. Man i wish rockstar would focus on more single player games instead of online
Thanks for this awesome 2-parter. My first 300hr playthrough, that took 3yrs in real time, I played 100% white hat, but my 2nd playthrough im currently going through im going a little under gray hat and am stoked to discover new stuff ive never seen. I just started Strauss' missions so ive already seen a bunch, and your vids gave me hope I'm going to see a lot more.
Edit: four parter?!?!
To find new stuff, you basically just antagonize people and be as low honor as possible. But one of my favorite ones is when you rob the loud mouthed racoon hat guy in the bar for his hat. After you take it, when you see him again he's not wearing it, and if you're wearing it he will attack you trying to get it back. If you see him as John later, he still doesn't have a hat anymore.
Truly a masterpiece on so many levels.
This game has so much to offer, you can‘t even see everything happening, even with multiple playthroughs
I love this, please do more!
The one with Sadie and Arthur is so wholesome
The fact that guy’s dialogue changes depending on what you’re carrying is just mind boggling. The amount of attention to detail is just unmatched.
Makes my day every upload
I really like how his english gets better after 8 years
Love the ending with the music
I almost felt bad for Wróbel, even tried to return the horse. And bro just started blasting at me with no questions
If you steal something from the 8:19 guys(taking brandy from their worker's camps) then they get angry on you and after that if you bring them lumber the father will say a hidden dialogue "I told you we don't need nothing from you, you thief"
I just want to know where to get that haircut for Aurthor 😂
I love how your Morgan changes over the Chapters
I feel so genuinely sad for wrobel and you taking his horse
Agian? Dammm, i like that 🤓🤙🏾
4:37 in the times I repeated the mission my weapon did not come customized
Dang, Guru.
That sure is one hunky Morgan you got yourself there, boah.
Very cool video. I've beaten the game 3 times, but many of these I would not have thought of trying / doing. For example not helping Lenny or selling Beau's gift. The developers included so many hidden dialogues if you play differently.
That last one with Arthur walking with Sadie into the store was kinda wholesome.
9:23 I had this happen to me because when I regained control of Arthur, the animation bugged and I was stuck in the "shoot the door hinges" spot. But it wouldn't let me move the camera to do so.
I’m so happy you’ve put time in this game, I’ve spent hundreds of hours, you’ve showed me things I haven’t, I hope to meet you some day
Theres kind of a glitch, where if you collect mr wrobels debt and leave the drawer with the watch open but dont take it, you can come back after the mission is done and collect it for yourself, it should be considered a(n) unique item because of how rare it is.
Great video man , well done 👌
I hope the game developers watch these videos to see how their work is appreciated
I ain’t ever been this early. Love the vids Guru
Your arthur looks like he's from the 1970s, with the Jean jacket and the haircut, love it
Thank you! Good job, most secrets I didn't know!
9:24 I always knew cuz I’d take too long looting all the bodies 😂😂
What I enjoy about this game is that the right thing is sometimes the exact opposite of what the game is telling you to do, like real life. You can build a reputation for yourself in different ways, not just honourable or dishonourable, even if it is just in your head somewhat.
It’s never really honorable to kill but some guys give you a boost and honor if you kill them like the clan member or Jeremiah Compson. I think you gain honor by killing the incest pig farmer
The attention to detail in this game is is legit on another level .... I'm still finding things I've never seen before an it's 2022
Sadie also asks to look at the clothes catalogue in that end scene and when the shopkeeper says he doesn’t have much that would suit her she says it’s fine…then she leaves with her new masculine (for the era) clothes
It's really cool that they focused on the game precisely. Also keep them vids coming
P.S How in the hell do you get that haircut.
@@weskerliker well what a bummer
Goddammit man stop hitting me with this beautiful firewatch soundtrack! 9:32
I love how much I hear the soundtrack from Firewatch. I'm hoping to get into making some more gun videos this summer, and might use some of the tracks for ambience.
I might play this game till I die and still find mind-blowing Details still yet to be discovered. This masterpiece should be in a museum.
They couldn't have found a more fitting voice actor for John, so iconic.
The Polish dude and Arthur's response always kills me. Polish is such a difficult language to learn in the first place.
i was wondering, how did you get a jacket with the poncho at 2:00 ? i can't seem to find it and was wondering if it was a mod or something. amazing video as always btw

This game has millions of different little dialogues and options in each little sequence. They really thought of everything a player can think of as an alternative and made something playable and fitting… Amazing.
