I am a big fan of firing sigils using a method Phil Hine termed "indifferent vacuity". Basically i design my Sigil just parenthetically - without even thinking much about it. I have a goal and i scribble around, designing the sigil and then destroying it right after when i feel it's finished. All whilst doing something else, like cooking or talking on the phone or whatever. This technique makes it easier for me to actually forget about it and i feel it helps the sigil/intent to better sink into my subconscious. Great channel btw, glad i discovered you!

I think one of the biggest breakthroughs of chaos/sigil magic in recent times has been Gordon White’s robofish and shoaling method, as described in his book The Chaos Protocols.
The comment is just my opinion to things: One technique to "forget" or better to say do not think on something is to focus on another part of your evolution and other goals. So you can work on another project, made a spell or sigil for money, then maybe focus on a new spouse or teleporting your self to shamballa ;) (just kidding). When it comes to the topic of do "forgetting" sigils there are personal conditions which are harmful to the magic and this are: doubt, impatience and control (which is an outcome of fear). Let me shortly go into that: Doubt is an enemy of any magician, if you see what you are doing with doubt this weakens the energies because your thoughts and emotions have creative power. It will not abolish the magical effect totally, but get rid of any doubt as fast as possible. Then Impatience, this is what people made look for the effect every ten minutes... Impatience is an energy of "not have yet" and so do not manifest what you want, at last control which gets things rigid and limits the possibilities for you to receive the benefits of the effect. This is why inner work is most important : to get your emotions and inner planes clean and in synergy, so you are in well-being and your magic is effective. On the other hand faith, patience and co-creation are the things you want to thrive for for powerful manifestation work. At last, as foolish fish always mentioned, use only positive statements and intentions for manifestation work!
I do keep track of the sigils in my journal and they work very well nonetheless. I like to have them available, in case I would want to repeat the working in future. However, I think it only works if one is able to "forget" the sigil anyways - or at least not to ponder over the fact if the sigil is doing it's work or not.
Mark Chapman proposed that thinking about the sigil in the wrong way afterward results in failure. "I am awake at 8 am" becomes "I hope I am awake at 8 am", perhaps even subconsciously. The revised statement is instantly fulfilled and game over.
Just as an example, my partner and I use sigils as part of our cycle of Lunar ceremonies. We create a sigil on the New Moon and carve it into a candle. Then, we dress the candle with oil on the First Quarter Moon. We light the candle while we dance and feast during our Full Moon ceremony. And, finally, let the candle burn down and release during the Third Quarter Moon. So, you can be creative with how you use sigils but, however you use them, they are a powerful magical tool.
I keep track of my sigils in my journal but I don't record the exact statement of intent, only the rough direction that the sigil was intended for. As I make sigils, I store them in the pocket at the back of my journal until I have a few which I can then shuffle like cards and charge one at a time, that way I don't know which sigil is which. This has worked fairly well for me, I ended up graduating with first-class honours after making a few sigils with this intention! I'm going to try the shoaling & robofish techniques and see if they work out for me!
RE logging sigil magick: Create your sigil in your diary, they copy the finished sigil into a personal book of sigils. Finally, draw a separate sigil for your operation, that can be destroyed. Finally, record in your journal on a fresh page, the results.
I have, in fact experimented with sigils that I have kept, as well as those that I have intentionally destroyed or forgotten. It depends on the purpose as you said. As far as effectiveness goes; they all work well, but my earliest attempts DID require me to "release" the sigil to allow my subconscious mind to truly go to work... putting in too much conscious energy can introduce doubt and sabotage any working imho
I'm troubled by the paradox of recording results and forgetting sigils. You can't really say sigils work if you forget what each one is for... I'm starting to seal lists of sigil intents in envelopes so I can review them in a year or so to see how I did. I feel like maybe this can hide intent, and set my mind at ease about actually forgetting, AND allow for the analysis of my work
I have an important question no one seems to have asked. I did the experiment from the last video and it seems to have worked, I think since I am not highly versed on this magickal fashizle XD I tend to do these things with a lot of innocence and just let myself go into doing it the way it feels right, I did it forgetting about it completely and without writing anything down on any log or anything, and it just jumps from the back of my mind every now and then reminding "see...is working right?", just as you said it tends to happen, pretty interesting..now if it stops working I WILL NEVER WATCH... I am kidding xD thanks mate, I really like the ideas you have on these topics, many resonate right away very naturally, which is not normal at all for me...
I created a sigil last week per the procedure presented in the prior FF video. I must of charged it too much because I could not get it to burn....the paper refused to hold a flame. I kept having to reignite it with the barbecue lighter. :) I took a photo of the sigil with my cellphone and then a video of it during the burning process...then let it leave my mind and enter into transcendent subspace.
Hints and tips: Try not to use a negative or NOT in a statement of intent. Use the present tense. Best method I've come across for forgetting is the shoaling method. Make so many sigils you can't remember what each of them does. Also, and like shoaling, this is a Gordon White piece of tech, make a robo-fish sigil to 'pull' the shoal. A robo-fish sigil is a sigil of something simple that WILL happen, such as 'I EAT STEAK FOR DINNER'
I recently discovered and subscribed to this channel. Sigil magic is the first thing that I watched and immediately tried it out. Results are still unclear. Recently I tried a new experiment. I found a Seed of Creation locket and I have placed a sigil of protection inside said locket. Interest to see what happens when the sigil in question does not burn, but you do carry with you, but that you forget is there 90% of the time.
With regards to using a positive sentence, I found also that if you apply the negative in a command AFTER the verb, it seems to act as a banishment of the verb in the sentence, or maybe it banishes the subject of the verb. Either way, my experiments have shown that it allows for the desired result while using a negative. For example, stating "eat not sweets" seemed to prevent myself and non-magical loved ones from desiring sweets. Maybe it works for everyone, maybe not. I havent tried this on a wide scale of people. However, I do think there is a lot of fine tuning you can do with the English language if you experiment with it and pay attention to the results.
Just found your comment which appears to address the following issue I have which is feeling a need to use the phrase 'free from...' in sigil magic or any other kind. It seems that technically 'free from...' is not really saying something and is saying a negative. For instance if I want to be free from toxins, the word 'detox' is a negative so an affirmation would be 'I want to be healthy'. However I feel the need to be specific with certain issues such as being 'free from toxins in my physical body' (especially in this day and age) and that just focusing on 'being healthy' does not quite have the energy I'm looking for. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It reminds me of how the King James Bible phrases things... like "Fear not!" or "Sin no more!" (Which reminds me of the hilarious printing mishap where the print setters accidentally made the phrase as "Sin *on* more" for one batch of Bibles - this was a huge scandal back in the olden days, haha! Now known as The Party Bible...)
The sigil recording vs forgetting is a bit of a conundrum, The problem being, if there is no record of what you have cast a spell for and you are intentionally forgetting it, how can you know if your methods are working? Sometimes the spell (if it’s very significant to you) will be ingrained in your consciousness and you won’t need to record it, but if you do a bunch of these you can easily forget for real and then have no record. I have an idea. If you are keeping one journal of all your workings record the sigil spells (the intent behind them not the actual sigil which will have been destroyed) on a separate page. On the top of the page, write the date and time of the working and “sigil cast”. Then cover the page or the part containing the intent and method with a separate piece of paper and staple/fasten it. This way when you are looking back through your journal you will know not to look under the paper at your working until enough time has past, I would say 3-6 months is probably enough. I haven’t actually put this into practice yet, so I’m not swearing by it’s efficacy. Curious to see if this will work and what others think.
One way to log sigil magic is to log it *before* you do it. Like "Today I'm doing a sigil ritual to [insert thing I'm trying to accomplish here" and then if it ends up working, I'll hopefully remember I did a whole thing about that and let myself know that it worked lol

About that last tip at the end. I created a sigil which said "I do not experience derealization disorder" which is something I'm working on with therapy too so I thought it could help speed things up. I can't think of anything specific enough that I could have written on it without a negative. "I have good mental health" is too vague and now I'm concerned that I've done the reverse :/
just like in bjj or boxing, is best to know a correct armbar and triangle...jab straight..the basics...unfortunately I LOVE me some flying knees and Peruvian neckties, so I will always go for those haha..I do put time into the basics, but gimmi that weird magic and techniques..
What i like to do. Is think of a happy moment in your life. If it`s resent it works even beter. Take a brush close your eyes an draw what that moment are person are people made you feel in that moment then make a shape that would look like a stamp, crest are a symbol. An if you wont to ....store it.... but if you have a good memory like me remember it. An when ever you wish to change your emotion redraw what you drow an remember an gain the power that is yours that was in that moment. An Use IT!

The character states "This Is!"......An It WAS....no questions ask... an the symbol lined up so greatly with that of the will of the people an with that with the order of the object of said symbol that the order of the will was magnified to silly an over the top proportions. Thanks, Foolish Fish! I have a watch with an 'Imperium Neptuni Regis' coin carved on the backing. Interesting things happen when I wear it even though I've never charged it. So this sigil is pre-charged to some degree because it has real meaning to dedicated people? It can be charged with some sort of Neptune magic (in the same way Chaos Magicians use Uranus)?
Cynthia Bourgeault can help with a meditation for step 5. Itll be easier for some of those coming from abrahamic and even protestant traditions than others imo because it's simple. Keep it simple when letting go. Dervishes, and ritual dances are another way.
Hey thank you for this - I did have some questions though as I was getting confused. When you talk about creating sigils and always using the "positive" sentence When creating sigils to keep out evil or ward off evil, I wanted to use phrases like "evil cannot see me" or "evil cannot enter" - but would these have the opposite effect! I can try rewording e.g. "invisible to evil" but isn't the word "invisible" also a negative? Or am I going around in circles haha
I also do not any Sigil Magick. The main reason being that Sigil Magick mostly works for me with silly little things that will not alter my life much in any meaningful way. I find it hard to get thi technique to work on anything big and important. So I almost always use Sigil Magick for creating silly and unimportant harmless effects. So I am concious that I really do not want anyone in the future who gets ahold of my diary to realise that I have been trying to make really silly things a reality through magic. Normal people who would not value these types of experiments would think me insane. So to avoid any future embarassment or accusations of me being mad, I do not rercord these experiments.
How do you discard a sigil without activating it? Let's say I've gone through the process of preparing a sigil and then realized I haven't been accurate of clear enough with the message I've put into the sigil. I've even looked at it for several days when I have woken up. How can I get rid of it without making it work in my mind? And, for that matter, how do I stop it once I've destroyed it and later on decided I don't want it to work in me anymore? And lastly, does its effect have an expiry time: does it have to be reinforced every once in a while or does it die out sometime?

Can you channel your intent towards another person via a sigil? For example specific goodwill to help someone get through a rough time? Or does this interfere to much with their own path/lessons etc?
In order not to interfere with their own free will or chosen path, you will need to ask the person if they want a spell done on them (via sigil or other methods) in order to help them. You will need their consent. Although, if it's a sigil / spell to bind a really bad person from continuing to do harm to others, never mind their free will - they're evil, and must be stopped! Some people don't deserve free will, it's too dangerous for everyone around them... That's my opinion.
If you're good at literature and have very good grammar skills and you can mentally see the statement of intent in your mind don't even write it out just visualize it in your head and write out the letters as you see them without any repeats and that is a very extremely effective way on how you can forget about them completely because you didn't write the sentence figures of conscience

Lol yeah it dose 😀.basically you make a sigil of something you know for certain will happen .like if you are eating lasagne for tea that night the sigil would mean- I had lasagne for tea.and you put it in with the shall of sigils .its called the robo fish method because at some university they put a robot fish in with a shall of real fish and they all followed the robot fish around the tank.i think it goes off the premise that because the robo fish sigil has already manifested the others are likely to manifest with it

It's an old question, but I like it and I have something to contribute to the conversation here. In my humble opinion, the sigil is a technique that can help us to use an innate power of our being. I like the Hermetic ideas, and of particular use here is that the universe is mental. Thus we have some access to the Mind through our minds, and thereby inherit some measure of power. I suspect with significant effort we could learn how to tap into it directly, but the sigil is such an easy shortcut.
Can you overuse this kind of Sigil Magick? I just got Hands-On Chaos Magic, so I'm looking through the book right now, but I still thought I'd ask your opinion.
I'm afraid I don't have an informed opinion. I can say that some people imagine that this kind of magic might replace a "path", but it is rather a set of tools to facilitate a path.
How do I make the other kind of sigil? Suppose I want a communication and location sigil with my children, like we have with spiritual entities. How do I make that? I could not find this info after much searching.

I've heard of carving a sigil onto a candle and burning the candle. Does that have any discernable difference from just writing it on a piece of paper and burning it?

I don't burn Sigils. If I did that all the fire alarms would go off in my flat. So instead I rip them into the smallest pieces I can and scatter them. Allow the wind to carry them away. And sink the fragments into the soil with rain.
Hi, I've recently began dabbling in sigil magick and I would like to know what's the next easier path to follow with magick that still uses sigils but without needing to burn it or contacting spirits on the opposite end.
I take a picture of mine and put them on art station then I bone the paper sigil and I never look at the art station page again I also find that it's best make mine in a way that leads to infinite growth in a particular area so that the grant Morrison super sigil has a pseudo effect and so that every time I get a little bit better it reinforces the sigil
I follow the attitude that once you start using blood, there's not really anywhere you can go from there. If a short meditation does the trick, I'm happy with that 😉
Thank you for your cryptic response. Ive meditated on the impact of your words and I’ll attempt to explore a different avenue of charging my sigils. I think meditating on them sounds like a good idea however I’ve always had a hard time at raising energy. I’ve actually heard about and explored death pose and I’ve explored that ritual where you dance around the object and then fall to the ground. So I think those might work. I’ll look through your videos for better sigil charging methods and also do more research on ways to charge them. I do have to admit that yes you are right, blood magic is a dead end.

Not that I know of 😕 This kind of magic tends to just keep going until it is completely resolved. Kind of why this kind of thing shouldn't be taken lightly or done without great care, preparation and thought. A book called 'magickal defense' by Damon Brand might be of use. But you risk reducing how effective your sigil magick will be in the future.

So if you use a sigil or ask someone to call an entity to do a service for you, and then you want to deactivate it. How to do this? would be interesting to see a video on this topic. Hope my question make sense.

To charge my sigil, I use the Wim Hof breathing method. The bit where you breath out and stay that way as long as you can.

I did the experiment from the last video and it seems to have worked, I think since I am not highly versed on this magickal fashizle XD I tend to do these things with a lot of innocence and just let myself go into doing it the way it feels right, I did it forgetting about it completely and without writing anything down on any log or anything, and it just jumps from the back of my mind every now and then reminding "see...is working right?", just as you said it tends to happen, pretty interesting..now if it stops working I WILL NEVER WATCH... I am kidding xD thanks mate, I really like the ideas you have on these topics, many resonate right away very naturally, which is not normal at all for me...

I created a sigil last week per the procedure presented in the prior FF video. I must of charged it too much because I could not get it to burn....the paper refused to hold a flame. I kept having to reignite it with the barbecue lighter. :) I took a photo of the sigil with my cellphone and then a video of it during the burning process...then let it leave my mind and enter into transcendent subspace.

Hints and tips: Try not to use a negative or NOT in a statement of intent. Use the present tense. Best method I've come across for forgetting is the shoaling method. Make so many sigils you can't remember what each of them does. Also, and like shoaling, this is a Gordon White piece of tech, make a robo-fish sigil to 'pull' the shoal. A robo-fish sigil is a sigil of something simple that WILL happen, such as 'I EAT STEAK FOR DINNER'

I recently discovered and subscribed to this channel. Sigil magic is the first thing that I watched and immediately tried it out. Results are still unclear. Recently I tried a new experiment. I found a Seed of Creation locket and I have placed a sigil of protection inside said locket. Interest to see what happens when the sigil in question does not burn, but you do carry with you, but that you forget is there 90% of the time.
One year later - do you have anything of interest to report, in terms of results? I'm curious! Thanks.

With regards to using a positive sentence, I found also that if you apply the negative in a command AFTER the verb, it seems to act as a banishment of the verb in the sentence, or maybe it banishes the subject of the verb. Either way, my experiments have shown that it allows for the desired result while using a negative. For example, stating "eat not sweets" seemed to prevent myself and non-magical loved ones from desiring sweets. Maybe it works for everyone, maybe not. I havent tried this on a wide scale of people. However, I do think there is a lot of fine tuning you can do with the English language if you experiment with it and pay attention to the results.
Just found your comment which appears to address the following issue I have which is feeling a need to use the phrase 'free from...' in sigil magic or any other kind. It seems that technically 'free from...' is not really saying something and is saying a negative. For instance if I want to be free from toxins, the word 'detox' is a negative so an affirmation would be 'I want to be healthy'. However I feel the need to be specific with certain issues such as being 'free from toxins in my physical body' (especially in this day and age) and that just focusing on 'being healthy' does not quite have the energy I'm looking for. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think "free from" may be a good way to state something, as well as "I am avoiding..."
I'm Seeing it as eat "not sweets" thus you crave that which is not sweet.
But every mind is it's own.
It reminds me of how the King James Bible phrases things... like "Fear not!" or "Sin no more!" (Which reminds me of the hilarious printing mishap where the print setters accidentally made the phrase as "Sin *on* more" for one batch of Bibles - this was a huge scandal back in the olden days, haha! Now known as The Party Bible...)
The sigil recording vs forgetting is a bit of a conundrum, The problem being, if there is no record of what you have cast a spell for and you are intentionally forgetting it, how can you know if your methods are working? Sometimes the spell (if it’s very significant to you) will be ingrained in your consciousness and you won’t need to record it, but if you do a bunch of these you can easily forget for real and then have no record. I have an idea. If you are keeping one journal of all your workings record the sigil spells (the intent behind them not the actual sigil which will have been destroyed) on a separate page. On the top of the page, write the date and time of the working and “sigil cast”. Then cover the page or the part containing the intent and method with a separate piece of paper and staple/fasten it. This way when you are looking back through your journal you will know not to look under the paper at your working until enough time has past, I would say 3-6 months is probably enough. I haven’t actually put this into practice yet, so I’m not swearing by it’s efficacy. Curious to see if this will work and what others think.

One way to log sigil magic is to log it *before* you do it. Like "Today I'm doing a sigil ritual to [insert thing I'm trying to accomplish here" and then if it ends up working, I'll hopefully remember I did a whole thing about that and let myself know that it worked lol

About that last tip at the end. I created a sigil which said "I do not experience derealization disorder" which is something I'm working on with therapy too so I thought it could help speed things up. I can't think of anything specific enough that I could have written on it without a negative. "I have good mental health" is too vague and now I'm concerned that I've done the reverse :/

just like in bjj or boxing, is best to know a correct armbar and triangle...jab straight..the basics...unfortunately I LOVE me some flying knees and Peruvian neckties, so I will always go for those haha..I do put time into the basics, but gimmi that weird magic and techniques..

What i like to do. Is think of a happy moment in your life. If it`s resent it works even beter. Take a brush close your eyes an draw what that moment are person are people made you feel in that moment then make a shape that would look like a stamp, crest are a symbol. An if you wont to ....store it.... but if you have a good memory like me remember it. An when ever you wish to change your emotion redraw what you drow an remember an gain the power that is yours that was in that moment. An Use IT!

So this sigil is pre-charged to some degree because it has real meaning to dedicated people? It can be charged with some sort of Neptune magic (in the same way Chaos Magicians use Uranus)?

Cynthia Bourgeault can help with a meditation for step 5. Itll be easier for some of those coming from abrahamic and even protestant traditions than others imo because it's simple. Keep it simple when letting go. Dervishes, and ritual dances are another way.

Hey thank you for this - I did have some questions though as I was getting confused.
When you talk about creating sigils and always using the "positive" sentence
When creating sigils to keep out evil or ward off evil, I wanted to use phrases like "evil cannot see me" or "evil cannot enter" - but would these have the opposite effect!
I can try rewording e.g. "invisible to evil" but isn't the word "invisible" also a negative?
Or am I going around in circles haha

I also do not any Sigil Magick. The main reason being that Sigil Magick mostly works for me with silly little things that will not alter my life much in any meaningful way. I find it hard to get thi technique to work on anything big and important. So I almost always use Sigil Magick for creating silly and unimportant harmless effects. So I am concious that I really do not want anyone in the future who gets ahold of my diary to realise that I have been trying to make really silly things a reality through magic. Normal people who would not value these types of experiments would think me insane. So to avoid any future embarassment or accusations of me being mad, I do not rercord these experiments.
How do you discard a sigil without activating it? Let's say I've gone through the process of preparing a sigil and then realized I haven't been accurate of clear enough with the message I've put into the sigil. I've even looked at it for several days when I have woken up. How can I get rid of it without making it work in my mind? And, for that matter, how do I stop it once I've destroyed it and later on decided I don't want it to work in me anymore? And lastly, does its effect have an expiry time: does it have to be reinforced every once in a while or does it die out sometime?
These are really excellent questions - I wish someone could chime in with some answers! (or even ideas or suggestions)

Can you channel your intent towards another person via a sigil? For example specific goodwill to help someone get through a rough time? Or does this interfere to much with their own path/lessons etc?
In truth I've never tried this with sigils specifically. Seems like an opportunity to experiment!
In order not to interfere with their own free will or chosen path, you will need to ask the person if they want a spell done on them (via sigil or other methods) in order to help them. You will need their consent. Although, if it's a sigil / spell to bind a really bad person from continuing to do harm to others, never mind their free will - they're evil, and must be stopped! Some people don't deserve free will, it's too dangerous for everyone around them... That's my opinion.
If you're good at literature and have very good grammar skills and you can mentally see the statement of intent in your mind don't even write it out just visualize it in your head and write out the letters as you see them without any repeats and that is a very extremely effective way on how you can forget about them completely because you didn't write the sentence figures of conscience

It's an old question, but I like it and I have something to contribute to the conversation here. In my humble opinion, the sigil is a technique that can help us to use an innate power of our being. I like the Hermetic ideas, and of particular use here is that the universe is mental. Thus we have some access to the Mind through our minds, and thereby inherit some measure of power. I suspect with significant effort we could learn how to tap into it directly, but the sigil is such an easy shortcut.
Can you overuse this kind of Sigil Magick? I just got Hands-On Chaos Magic, so I'm looking through the book right now, but I still thought I'd ask your opinion.
I'm afraid I don't have an informed opinion. I can say that some people imagine that this kind of magic might replace a "path", but it is rather a set of tools to facilitate a path.
How do I make the other kind of sigil? Suppose I want a communication and location sigil with my children, like we have with spiritual entities. How do I make that? I could not find this info after much searching.

I've heard of carving a sigil onto a candle and burning the candle. Does that have any discernable difference from just writing it on a piece of paper and burning it?

For me the results manifest even if I'm thinking about it from time to time.
I don't burn Sigils. If I did that all the fire alarms would go off in my flat. So instead I rip them into the smallest pieces I can and scatter them. Allow the wind to carry them away. And sink the fragments into the soil with rain.

Hi, I've recently began dabbling in sigil magick and I would like to know what's the next easier path to follow with magick that still uses sigils but without needing to burn it or contacting spirits on the opposite end.
I take a picture of mine and put them on art station then I bone the paper sigil and I never look at the art station page again I also find that it's best make mine in a way that leads to infinite growth in a particular area so that the grant Morrison super sigil has a pseudo effect and so that every time I get a little bit better it reinforces the sigil

I usually charge my sigils with a drop of blood.
I follow the attitude that once you start using blood, there's not really anywhere you can go from there.

Thank you for your cryptic response. Ive meditated on the impact of your words and I’ll attempt to explore a different avenue of charging my sigils. I think meditating on them sounds like a good idea however I’ve always had a hard time at raising energy. I’ve actually heard about and explored death pose and I’ve explored that ritual where you dance around the object and then fall to the ground. So I think those might work. I’ll look through your videos for better sigil charging methods and also do more research on ways to charge them. I do have to admit that yes you are right, blood magic is a dead end.

Not that I know of 😕 This kind of magic tends to just keep going until it is completely resolved.
Kind of why this kind of thing shouldn't be taken lightly or done without great care, preparation and thought. A book called 'magickal defense' by Damon Brand might be of use. But you risk reducing how effective your sigil magick will be in the future.
