Other thing to add - bind down the actions you do not want. I always add to the end of statements of intent - "without causing any harm and without causing any loss" or something similar, to ensure that potential is taken out.
You can also draw the sigil on your body (liquid eyeliner works well, being non toxic) and then have a shower to release it. This way you can incorporate chakras and/or physical activity to help embed it - probably not on your forehead unless you're home alone though!
I made a sigil for my gf that works in a restaurant. But my "mistake" was creating it as "I get amazing tips",with I, instead of her name. I ended up getting a restaurant job. Lmao totally unexpected.

Oh, the very first practical magick! I love sigil magick so much! I usually use the elements to banish my sigils. I do this by associating the four classic elements (fire, water, air and earth) with a specific action. For example: when I want to evoke fire, I burn the paper in the flame of a candle, with matches, or on a bonfire. When I want to evoke water, I put my sigil in a source of running water, or dissolve in a basin, or throw it into the sea, river or waterfall; To evoke air, I throw my sigil in the wind, from the top of a hill, building or moving car and, finally, to evoke land I can bury it in an empty land, at the foot of a tree, in a puddle of mud, chopped and mixed with the substrate of a plant and so on. As a good solar Leo, I almost always use fire, but it also depends on the association I want to make in the ritual. For an intent linked to some emotion, I may prefer to use water, due to arcane symbolism itself. Material things, I use earth and so on. Just remember that water = emotion, air = reason, earth = physical world, fire = will/spirit.
@@luczztem Someone in another comment thread said they use water-soluble paper to draw their sigils on, so it will break down outdoors. This is a great idea - it will break down more quickly and properly (therefore get released), and not affect the environment (whether you choose to use earth, wind, or water to dispose).
@@v-spirituality I assume it's because the quickest route is rarely the most efficient or successful. You might get results faster but they'll be much lower quality
@@jimascreama I would think that if you're in a hurry you won't be able to properly "let go" of the sigil, keeping your wish in the conscious realm. Willfully forgetting about something is sort of the opposite of being in a hurry.
Depends in what you want, if you want to operate tactically in things that you need to keep going, like, some basics things that you want to happen in your life, this is the tool. But, it has rare and odd consecuences if you try to use it to change the will of other people, it will not work, or, in the best escenario, it will bring what you want of x person in another one person. Ask for simple things.......
One of the first experiences with sigils...( I had been on disability for YEARS l have Multiple Sclerosis) My sigil was for a , legit at home job. Within 2 months I had become employed with an insurance agency. I got my agents license, and NEVER looked back!! I was truly shocked. Thank you for this video!!! Yeah this is solid, did a very similar process to get rid of debts and then due to self isolation got a grant from the council that let me pay off my credit card, simple but definitely did not see that route coming
I did a sigil to get a new Bicycle. A friend of mine was visiting from abroad, he found the sigil on my table and asked what it was so I explained the concept to him. Later when he returned home I got an email from him telling me he put XX amount of money in a refurbished bike shop in my town and to get one that I wanted when it came up. It took 2 weeks but I got the perfect bike, free. So it did work, in a weird way, but that is fine too LOL !!
Without going into detail, this past decade, I've managed to dig myself into my own personal inferno almost reaching breaking point. Until rediscovering the esoteric and Magickal practices. The use of sigils and other methods have given me the ability to change my life around, physically mentally and spiritually. Which I believe is one aspect of practising Magick, to change or manifest oneself physically and spiritually, As above so Below. Thank you Mr Fish for all the great content you are a asset to the community and craft.
This type of sigil magic is perhaps my favourite tyoe of magic to do. I really enjoy the process of creating a new sigil or symbol that nobody in the entire history of mankind has ever seen. The enjoyment factor is enough for me to not be too bothered if it even works or not.
I've been watching your videos for over a year, and they are so delightful and informative. You've exposed me to a TON of books I never would have heard of, which have expanded and deepened my practice. Thank you- and more please!
My only point of contention: in my experience, the best way to forget a sigil is to make more. Make about 5 per day for anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 month and you'll have forgotten most of your statements of intent associated with them. If you're not keeping track of your sigils though, make damn well sure you really want and can handle how they manifest.
When you are charging and releasing your sigils, you could chant some words to ask for them to be manifested for the greatest good for everyone, for the most optimal timing, and to do no harm to yourself or others. Hopefully that will help making them work in your best interests! 😺
The only reason I’m still an armchair magician is that I know I can get/do whatever I want but I don’t really have an answer to “what do you want?”. Saying “nothing” is a beautiful philosophical idea but far from practical. I’m also reminded about something Ram Dass said: with faith you can move mountains, but by the time you get to the place where you can move the mountain you’ve realized that you’re the one that put it there in the first place. That said, advice on servitor creation and local spirit work in general is something I’m curious about

Pretty much same man! I also have that weird feeling when using magick to get something my ego wants, there's a sense of struggle in it. Maybe it's just me however. Or maybe i'm onto some "Magickal bypassing" type of thing which makes it not work

Using a combination of sigil magick and conscious hard work I managed to get a first in my degree! I think it's important to stress that you still need to work toward your goals, the sigil can't do all the heavy lifting alone. In my case, the sigil seemed to influence my lecturers, bumping up my grades on work that was otherwise not my best.

Excellent! Sigils are my bread and butter for practical magick. This video is a great introduction to novice magicians as well as a good refresher for intermediate magicians. I personally use a Buddha board, draw the sigil with moon water or holy water of some kind, and enter a meditative state while I watch the sigil fade.
@@findmestudios I just looked up Buddha Board. It says: "Paint on the surface with water and watch your creation come to life. As the water slowly evaporates your art will magically disappear... leaving you with a clean slate and a clear mind."
I often write the intention in a made up alphabet that I only use for this type of work and never really, consciously, memorize. It helps make the sigil less recognizable from earlier on in the process, and also to make you more focused on actively writing your intention (if that makes any sense).
Fascinating thought. I've been thinking of using an old alphabet (to write phonetically in English, the only language I'm fluent in) but I'm concerned it might muck up the process.
@@jackalope2302 If you want to use symbols that actually correlate with the English alphabet - have you considered using the rune language from *The Hobbit* / *Lord of the Rings* novels? I once decrypted all the runes used in *The Hobbit* for an 8th Grade class assignment. If only I could find my old homework now, lol... But heck, if I managed to do it so easily in 8th Grade (I was in a 'gifted' class, but I reckon anyone of average intelligence can figure it out), I'm sure I could do it again. First off, the intro was the perfect spark to kick off this video. I can relate with this accumulation of knowledge vs practical work. Reminds me of a quote "I dare not wonder too far less I can't find my way home". I think that 'home' basis is important. The Binah to the Chokmah; that thrust block. I thought these instructions on introductory Sigil work were clear, informative, and explained the reasoning and mechanisms well. Thanks
This gave me shivers towards the end when you suggested what to do when thoughts of your sigil come to mind. The whole "think of being glad for your work/the sigil working" is something I've never actually heard before, but practiced on my own just because it was so effective in getting me to stop thinking about it. In fact, I shared that as some advice recently, a few days ago, I think, on an Occult forum I'm on. I used to only watch this channel for the book reviews, but it's actually crazy to see someone else's practice be so identical to mine. Never thought that'd happen in the realm of something as personal and esoteric/obscure as magick/the occult. Please make more videos, and maybe consider a patreon for those of us who live in countries that are not supported by UA-cam Membership programmes.
As he mentioned, do be extremely careful with your wording. I have not used sigils, however I did this same thing with mind only. I asked the universe for extra vacation time off from work, a large sum of money, and to also keep my job despite the time off from work. Mine came to me in the form of a car accident requiring a major surgery and some degree of permanent impairment. One week after I began my meditations, I suddenly had this non stop urge to check my seat belt constantly to make sure I was always wearing it when driving. Checking it 5+ times on a 2 minute drive type of obsession. Then after a week of this obsession, I turned down a neighborhood road and for the first and only time in my life, my intuition told me I needed to go a very particular speed or "things wouldn't work out." There was a 6 foot fence along the road all the way to the intersection, so there were no visual clues. When I passed through the intersection, a car going about 80mph in our 30mph road passed in front of me and I caught the back half of his car. I had to have hip surgery, but if he had hit me it would have killed me. The obsession with checking my seatbelt ended right that moment. And had I not been wearing my seatbelt, I would have lost half my benefits because I was driving a work vehicle when it happened. I got over 6 weeks off from work (paid), I got a settlement, and I recovered and got to keep my job. Be careful what you ask for because it might come in a bad way.
The field of occultism and Magick is extremely rich with different ways of understanding, interacting with, and conceptualizing the world. It is extremely fulfilling without needing to actually cast any spells. The way I see it, an Armchair Magician is like someone who likes to read books, a Practicing Magician is like someone who like to write books. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to read novels, and not wanting to be an Author. Likewise, it's okay to write some fan fiction once in a while (Dabbling in Magick) and not publish a full novel (Serious Practice). As long as you don't accidentally "publish" something weird that gets you cancelled before you start (Problems with an inexperienced Goetia Summoning.)
Thanks for your wonderful clear description and creative personal ideas! Sigils are powerful mysterious symbols of intention that can activate us towards manifesting and designing our reality. One personal idea that I consciously add in the languaging of the phrase is to declare a sentence that brings "blessing for everyone and harm to no one". In that manner we can be sure that our focus expands and advances consciousness.
Thank you FF for these Esoteric Saturdays videos. For once, I am very thankful for the YT algorithm that made me discover your channel last week. I have been er two years f great content to go through! I was wondering when Sigils would pop up! I got my introduction through Grant Morrison and it totally worked for me. I landed the job of my dream, it was a lengthy process and the amount of luck surrounding each step of it was the most peculiar. For example I got called last minute to present a case to the big bosses and only had time to prepare it while flying from Paris to NYC on a very low cost airline, so really not ideal to do good work. And as I checked in, I discovered that they bumped me to first class. I had 6 hours to prepare a presentation in the best conditions possible. While practicing sigillographies magical, I discovered that what works best for me to activate it is DOING PLANKS and staring at the sigils while doing them. Keep up the great work!
First attempt at sigil magick and two weeks later I found a copy of Israel Regardie's The Golden Dawn (second print 1985 Falcon Press) amongst a pile of trashy novels in a second hand bookstore for the same price as a cup of coffee.

I've never had one of my sigils not work, but it is my experience they won't work until you have forgotten them, period. I also like to bury mine in the earth if the desired outcome is earthy, roll around incense and light it if airy, burn if it is fire-ish, or forget about it until it disintegrates inside of a bucket of water and flush it if watery. Rolling papers work great for sigil magic.
I can add something here..... Pull the blank sheets out of the back of your treasured books. Cut them into usable sizes for sigilization (I generally cut them about 3" square). Keep this wad of blank papers in your locked box of Magickal items.... empower them. They will always be connected to you. You can create your own personal identity sigil and write it on the back of every one....

I've tried to use sigils before, but not very successful, not complete failure.. I think this video is where i should have started, really enjoying your content, very informative, thanks. I once read something about playing video games to charge sigils, it was a short essay included amongst a collection of occult pdf's i found online. I keep meaning to try it.

I use this technique for plugging my subconscious. I have some sigils that represent affirmations that I end up remembering the design and can replicate it whenever I need to plug the affirmation into my subconscious . For example I have a sigil that stands for the phrase “I AM STRONG” I designed it, cut it out and taped it on my door way. That way i subconsciously see all the time, re-affirming the phrase constantly without having to even think about it consciously. So everyday when I wake up when I “see” it, starting every day with the affirmation, “I AM STRONG”
Thanks for sharing, there were some great tips in this video. I try always to say to myself when thinking about the sigil and its goal after its charging: 'im curious how cosmos will sort this out'. In that way, I can let go of my need for direct interference with the process. The best result of this were manifesting my passport back, 800 km from where I lost it, during a travel through Mongolia:)
Thats the story of me a armchair magician. I never ever dared to mess with the stuff but i did attempt to understand the inner workings of it. My perspective through my study of it was that it had a strong parallel with hypnotism. Hypnotism is about the mind just as magic is about the mind. A hypnotic state is a state of awareness just as what they teach in most esoteric societies to be aware or to focus. I noticed state of mind is another factor that aligns with hypnotism. Reason i never wanted to use magic is because i question where it came from. I dont think we just came up with this because how can you create a framework for this without some sort of grounding. The material world is the only grounding we have and everything else is just assuming you know based on experience or in the case of all magicians TAUGHT. What if what is taught it wrong. How do we know its wrong or right is the big question. We dont know we assume
This is how I do my sigils, but I paint them on my alter and I just leave them there until my whole alter is filled with sigils. Then I paint over them with primer and a new back ground and start fresh. I have no idea what they are after I have painted them, unless I were to look up in my grimoire what the sentence is and even then some of my sigils if they are dealing with someone else or something that I don't want someone to know I am doing magick about then I don't record the sentence either. Most of the people who teach sigils on UA-cam use grids and stuff and they are less artistic. I was also glad to see that you add stuff to your sigil to decorate it and finish it off.
I found an effective way to make a sigil was to draw a graph. Number correspondences on one axis and letters along the other, then plot the points according to the reduced form. Although they weren't subsequently destroyed as with traditional sigils.

For the last part "thinking about something else" I discovered that creating new sigil and focusing on that new one while charging it for days will completely free your head from thinking about old one.
@jahigir jess You might be able to control the outcomes to a situation by invoking the hierarchy of divinity, archangel, angel, ideas, spirits, and ultimately demons in a specific sephirot of the Kabbalah. Short answer: possibly.
@jahigir jess With occultist derivations of the Kabbalah (Qabalah), you can read some books. Chicken Qabalah is a good starting place for that, but the author's writing style is a little eccentric. Try Middle Pillar instead first if that's the case. As for Judaic Kabbalah, you'll need to know people, as that community is far more secretive. I.e., my uncle's friend's friend's brother is a Jewish Kabbalist and is currently teaching me Judaic Kabbalah.

As a fellow who takes Sigil creating seriously I thank ya. I like your explanation of the process. I'll have to save the video and refer those I meet that are curious to it. Which does happen kind of often, interestingly enough! When I began I heeded the many teachings of burning/disposing of the Sigil. I always hated it though, it never felt right to me. I eventually kept them instead. My normal process is after activation, I leave it where I can see it a few more times here and there to keep it fresh in my mind while not really dwelling on it, then place it in a folder. I have had amazing results whether I disposed of the Sigil or kept it.
I'm curious how you feel about structuring the sentence into the form of a question? Creating the Sigil as if it had already happened. Like, "How did I write such a popular song?" 🤔
Interesting insight into how you drew the symbol. The C from create was the backbone, the R from create gets crowned, and then it is centered on the G or end of the song, which is where the waves come from. The P, L, and S turn into what look like arms flexing, and it seems to grow three notches, and a direction arrow for a head. I think this could be a really cool way of analyzing the unconscious or something like that. Thanks for your video!
I really like the technique you showed for creating a sigil...I was not familiar with it and will apply it to my own practices. The symbol (my avatar) to the left of this sentence is my sigil...has been for many years...but I chose not to burn it :) It has been dubbed or called an "Asterox" and as a focal point or talisman, it has become my guiding beacon. It was something that kept dwelling (sort of an obsession) within my thoughts as I was entering a period of "The Dark Night of the Soul" about three decades ago. The Asterox has led me to explore other scriptures besides just the Bible and alternate spiritual paths besides just Christianity. The more roads available for travel, the merrier. Cheers!

@@sosigking6358 Hey, thanks for asking. It was something that kept dominating my thoughts as I fell inward and it become a representative symbol for divinity...the guiding logo of a higher mind. The sigil came to me long before the internet even existed...I believe it was the influence of supernatural forces. The website AsteroxRising[dot]com explains more about it. In developing your own personal sigil, my recommendation is to first quiet the mind and let if form within your thoughts. Once you have drafted one, work with it for while to see if you feel comfortable with it...it is perfectly acceptable to modify or make changes as it develops and as you spiritually grow as a person.
Drawing them on sidewalk is extremely effective for long-term goals. You can just wait for the rain to wash them away and they get touched by all the elements on the earth also being charged by the Sun and the Moon every night and day. Truck is extremely effective especially if you consecrate or anointed with bodily fluids
i really love your explanation and demonstration of sigil magic! i have used sigil magic before, with my own twists. When I learnt it first, i would remove every repeating letter, and i wonder where that technique came from. Thank you for your video!

But, it has rare and odd consecuences if you try to use it to change the will of other people, it will not work, or, in the best escenario, it will bring what you want of x person in another one person. One of the first experiences with sigils...( I had been on disability for YEARS l have Multiple Sclerosis) My sigil was for a , legit at home job. I did a sigil to get a new Bicycle. A friend of mine was visiting from abroad, he found the sigil on my table and asked what it was so I explained the concept to him. Later when he returned home I got an email from him telling me he put XX amount of money in a refurbished bike shop in my town and to get one that I wanted when it came up. It took 2 weeks but I got the perfect bike, free. So it did work, in a weird way, but that is fine too LOL !!

Until rediscovering the esoteric and Magickal practices. The use of sigils and other methods have given me the ability to change my life around, physically mentally and spiritually. This type of sigil magic is perhaps my favourite tyoe of magic to do. I really enjoy the process of creating a new sigil or symbol that nobody in the entire history of mankind has ever seen. The enjoyment factor is enough for me to not be too bothered if it even works or not.

My only point of contention: in my experience, the best way to forget a sigil is to make more. Make about 5 per day for anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 month and you'll have forgotten most of your statements of intent associated with them. If you're not keeping track of your sigils though, make damn well sure you really want and can handle how they manifest.
When you are charging and releasing your sigils, you could chant some words to ask for them to be manifested for the greatest good for everyone, for the most optimal timing, and to do no harm to yourself or others. Hopefully that will help making them work in your best interests! 😺
The only reason I’m still an armchair magician is that I know I can get/do whatever I want but I don’t really have an answer to “what do you want?”. Saying “nothing” is a beautiful philosophical idea but far from practical. I’m also reminded about something Ram Dass said: with faith you can move mountains, but by the time you get to the place where you can move the mountain you’ve realized that you’re the one that put it there in the first place. That said, advice on servitor creation and local spirit work in general is something I’m curious about

Using a combination of sigil magick and conscious hard work I managed to get a first in my degree! I think it's important to stress that you still need to work toward your goals, the sigil can't do all the heavy lifting alone. In my case, the sigil seemed to influence my lecturers, bumping up my grades on work that was otherwise not my best.
I love this channel! It never has given me a crappy political vibe! Or the feeling that a narrative is being shoved down my throat while trying to learn something the COMPLETELY overshadows the feeble ideologies that wasteful humans think they should push on the rest of us!

Excellent! Sigils are my bread and butter for practical magick. This video is a great introduction to novice magicians as well as a good refresher for intermediate magicians. I personally use a Buddha board, draw the sigil with moon water or holy water of some kind, and enter a meditative state while I watch the sigil fade.
I use Moon water, as well, or if it's needed quickly or it's transformative, I use some storm water I have from a tornado storm.

@@findmestudios I just looked up Buddha Board. It says: "Paint on the surface with water and watch your creation come to life. As the water slowly evaporates your art will magically disappear... leaving you with a clean slate and a clear mind."
I often write the intention in a made up alphabet that I only use for this type of work and never really, consciously, memorize. It helps make the sigil less recognizable from earlier on in the process, and also to make you more focused on actively writing your intention (if that makes any sense).
Fascinating thought. I've been thinking of using an old alphabet (to write phonetically in English, the only language I'm fluent in) but I'm concerned it might muck up the process.
@@jackalope2302 If you want to use symbols that actually correlate with the English alphabet - have you considered using the rune language from *The Hobbit* / *Lord of the Rings* novels? I once decrypted all the runes used in *The Hobbit* for an 8th Grade class assignment. If only I could find my old homework now, lol... But heck, if I managed to do it so easily in 8th Grade (I was in a 'gifted' class, but I reckon anyone of average intelligence can figure it out), I'm sure I could do it again. First off, the intro was the perfect spark to kick off this video. I can relate with this accumulation of knowledge vs practical work. Reminds me of a quote "I dare not wonder too far less I can't find my way home". I think that 'home' basis is important. The Binah to the Chokmah; that thrust block. This gave me shivers towards the end when you suggested what to do when thoughts of your sigil come to mind. The whole "think of being glad for your work/the sigil working" is something I've never actually heard before, but practiced on my own just because it was so effective in getting me to stop thinking about it. In fact, I shared that as some advice recently, a few days ago, I think, on an Occult forum I'm on. I used to only watch this channel for the book reviews, but it's actually crazy to see someone else's practice be so identical to mine. Never thought that'd happen in the realm of something as personal and esoteric/obscure as magick/the occult. Please make more videos, and maybe consider a patreon for those of us who live in countries that are not supported by UA-cam Membership programmes.

As he mentioned, do be extremely careful with your wording. I have not used sigils, however I did this same thing with mind only. I asked the universe for extra vacation time off from work, a large sum of money, and to also keep my job despite the time off from work. Mine came to me in the form of a car accident requiring a major surgery and some degree of permanent impairment. One week after I began my meditations, I suddenly had this non stop urge to check my seat belt constantly to make sure I was always wearing it when driving. Checking it 5+ times on a 2 minute drive type of obsession. Then after a week of this obsession, I turned down a neighborhood road and for the first and only time in my life, my intuition told me I needed to go a very particular speed or "things wouldn't work out." There was a 6 foot fence along the road all the way to the intersection, so there were no visual clues. When I passed through the intersection, a car going about 80mph in our 30mph road passed in front of me and I caught the back half of his car. I had to have hip surgery, but if he had hit me it would have killed me. The obsession with checking my seatbelt ended right that moment. And had I not been wearing my seatbelt, I would have lost half my benefits because I was driving a work vehicle when it happened. I got over 6 weeks off from work (paid), I got a settlement, and I recovered and got to keep my job. Be careful what you ask for because it might come in a bad way.
The field of occultism and Magick is extremely rich with different ways of understanding, interacting with, and conceptualizing the world. It is extremely fulfilling without needing to actually cast any spells.
The way I see it, an Armchair Magician is like someone who likes to read books, a Practicing Magician is like someone who like to write books.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to read novels, and not wanting to be an Author.
Likewise, it's okay to write some fan fiction once in a while (Dabbling in Magick) and not publish a full novel (Serious Practice). As long as you don't accidentally "publish" something weird that gets you cancelled before you start (Problems with an inexperienced Goetia Summoning.)

Sigils are powerful mysterious symbols of intention that can activate us towards manifesting and designing our reality.
One personal idea that I consciously add in the languaging of the phrase is to declare a sentence that brings "blessing for everyone and harm to no one". In that manner we can be sure that our focus expands and advances consciousness.

Thank you FF for these Esoteric Saturdays videos. For once, I am very thankful for the YT algorithm that made me discover your channel last week. I have been er two years f great content to go through! I was wondering when Sigils would pop up! I got my introduction through Grant Morrison and it totally worked for me. I landed the job of my dream, it was a lengthy process and the amount of luck surrounding each step of it was the most peculiar. For example I got called last minute to present a case to the big bosses and only had time to prepare it while flying from Paris to NYC on a very low cost airline, so really not ideal to do good work. And as I checked in, I discovered that they bumped me to first class. I had 6 hours to prepare a presentation in the best conditions possible. While practicing sigillographies magical, I discovered that what works best for me to activate it is DOING PLANKS and staring at the sigils while doing them. Keep up the great work!

I've never had one of my sigils not work, but it is my experience they won't work until you have forgotten them, period. I also like to bury mine in the earth if the desired outcome is earthy, roll around incense and light it if airy, burn if it is fire-ish, or forget about it until it disintegrates inside of a bucket of water and flush it if watery. Rolling papers work great for sigil magic.

I can add something here..... Pull the blank sheets out of the back of your treasured books. Cut them into usable sizes for sigilization (I generally cut them about 3" square). Keep this wad of blank papers in your locked box of Magickal items.... empower them. They will always be connected to you. You can create your own personal identity sigil and write it on the back of every one....

I use this technique for plugging my subconscious. I have some sigils that represent affirmations that I end up remembering the design and can replicate it whenever I need to plug the affirmation into my subconscious . For example I have a sigil that stands for the phrase “I AM STRONG” I designed it, cut it out and taped it on my door way. That way i subconsciously see all the time, re-affirming the phrase constantly without having to even think about it consciously. So everyday when I wake up when I “see” it, starting every day with the affirmation, “I AM STRONG”
Thanks for sharing, there were some great tips in this video. I try always to say to myself when thinking about the sigil and its goal after its charging: 'im curious how cosmos will sort this out'. In that way, I can let go of my need for direct interference with the process. The best result of this were manifesting my passport back, 800 km from where I lost it, during a travel through Mongolia:)

Thats the story of me a armchair magician. I never ever dared to mess with the stuff but i did attempt to understand the inner workings of it. My perspective through my study of it was that it had a strong parallel with hypnotism. Hypnotism is about the mind just as magic is about the mind. A hypnotic state is a state of awareness just as what they teach in most esoteric societies to be aware or to focus. I noticed state of mind is another factor that aligns with hypnotism.
Reason i never wanted to use magic is because i question where it came from. I dont think we just came up with this because how can you create a framework for this without some sort of grounding. The material world is the only grounding we have and everything else is just assuming you know based on experience or in the case of all magicians TAUGHT. What if what is taught it wrong. How do we know its wrong or right is the big question. We dont know we assume

What was your intention
This is how I do my sigils, but I paint them on my alter and I just leave them there until my whole alter is filled with sigils. Then I paint over them with primer and a new back ground and start fresh. I have no idea what they are after I have painted them, unless I were to look up in my grimoire what the sentence is and even then some of my sigils if they are dealing with someone else or something that I don't want someone to know I am doing magick about then I don't record the sentence either. Most of the people who teach sigils on UA-cam use grids and stuff and they are less artistic. I was also glad to see that you add stuff to your sigil to decorate it and finish it off.

I found an effective way to make a sigil was to draw a graph. Number correspondences on one axis and letters along the other, then plot the points according to the reduced form. Although they weren't subsequently destroyed as with traditional sigils.

For the last part "thinking about something else" I discovered that creating new sigil and focusing on that new one while charging it for days will completely free your head from thinking about old one.

@jahigir jess You might be able to control the outcomes to a situation by invoking the hierarchy of divinity, archangel, angel, ideas, spirits, and ultimately demons in a specific sephirot of the Kabbalah. Short answer: possibly.
@jahigir jess With occultist derivations of the Kabbalah (Qabalah), you can read some books. Chicken Qabalah is a good starting place for that, but the author's writing style is a little eccentric. Try Middle Pillar instead first if that's the case. As for Judaic Kabbalah, you'll need to know people, as that community is far more secretive. I.e., my uncle's friend's friend's brother is a Jewish Kabbalist and is currently teaching me Judaic Kabbalah.

As a fellow who takes Sigil creating seriously I thank ya. I like your explanation of the process. I'll have to save the video and refer those I meet that are curious to it. Which does happen kind of often, interestingly enough!
When I began I heeded the many teachings of burning/disposing of the Sigil. I always hated it though, it never felt right to me. I eventually kept them instead. My normal process is after activation, I leave it where I can see it a few more times here and there to keep it fresh in my mind while not really dwelling on it, then place it in a folder.
I have had amazing results whether I disposed of the Sigil or kept it.

Yes, this is a very effective method, though I've not tried it in the context of sigil crafting.
This kind of Sigils were my introduction to Magick back in 2017. Their capacity to turn the tables is incredible.

Interesting insight into how you drew the symbol. The C from create was the backbone, the R from create gets crowned, and then it is centered on the G or end of the song, which is where the waves come from. The P, L, and S turn into what look like arms flexing, and it seems to grow three notches, and a direction arrow for a head. I think this could be a really cool way of analyzing the unconscious or something like that. Thanks for your video!

I really like the technique you showed for creating a sigil...I was not familiar with it and will apply it to my own practices. The symbol (my avatar) to the left of this sentence is my sigil...has been for many years...but I chose not to burn it :) It has been dubbed or called an "Asterox" and as a focal point or talisman, it has become my guiding beacon. It was something that kept dwelling (sort of an obsession) within my thoughts as I was entering a period of "The Dark Night of the Soul" about three decades ago. The Asterox has led me to explore other scriptures besides just the Bible and alternate spiritual paths besides just Christianity. The more roads available for travel, the merrier. Cheers!

@@sosigking6358 Hey, thanks for asking. It was something that kept dominating my thoughts as I fell inward and it become a representative symbol for divinity...the guiding logo of a higher mind. The sigil came to me long before the internet even existed...I believe it was the influence of supernatural forces. The website AsteroxRising[dot]com explains more about it. In developing your own personal sigil, my recommendation is to first quiet the mind and let if form within your thoughts. Once you have drafted one, work with it for while to see if you feel comfortable with it...it is perfectly acceptable to modify or make changes as it develops and as you spiritually grow as a person.

Drawing them on sidewalk is extremely effective for long-term goals. You can just wait for the rain to wash them away and they get touched by all the elements on the earth also being charged by the Sun and the Moon every night and day. Truck is extremely effective especially if you consecrate or anointed with bodily fluids
