I’m so glad to see you back and that you’re doing a bit better. I totally understand you feeling depressed and needing to take some time. A lot of people don’t realize that those of us with chronic illness tend to struggle with our mental health because of the toll our physical health takes on us. I hope your mood continues to improve and congrats on your nomination! It’s truly deserved. 💗
Welcome back. Totally understand when you need to take some time off. I don’t have chronic illness, but since my second Moderna shot, I have got a hint of what it feels like to have side effects, stomach issues. Day after day it does mess with your mind. So hope your medication keeps working for you. You deserve to be nominated for that award too. It shows you are making a difference and inspiring others. It’s not easy, but when we work through our trials that’s when we grow. And can help others. Thank you for posting again, you were missed🌼

I have had my pre-assessment and all my other appointments to go in for my ostomy surgery, was going to be the 1st june but its the wring hospital, I need to be I out new built hospital for the high dependency unit and better pain management (they are rhey ones better equipped) I don't hold much hope though as they never been very good controlling my pain after surgery every with a spinal block 🙄🤔. Xxx

I’m In a crisis at the moment Life is chaos for me been told by local housing I have 1-2 weeks to pack up a 3 bed 2 storey home and downsize to a 2 bed apartment. Right bang smack in the middle of a huge flare, 3 severe infections and an urgent salvage surgery (3 sizeable lower abdominal wounds) on 15/06 with consent at hospital on 11/06. I’m frantically trying to sort out some storage, boxes, packers & movers. Life is crazy I’m praying I have the strength to get through this. I’m so weak at the moment and only managing under 300cals of feed a day as two days ago my peg-j tube got blocked because a GP who isn’t mine even though I told him I have a small bore Jejunal tube prescribed me Clairithromycin suspension that blocked my tube and has now blown a hole through both tubes so it’s all going into my stomach so only running at 5-10ml/hr and not getting enough fluids, electrolytes, vitamins & minerals and protein. I’m hanging on by a thread. Locally our hospital is awful they left me last year with a flipped tube for over 6 months! It’s great where you are they can sort it 24-48 hours or the same week at least wish it was like that here, Swindon SW UK where I am is abysmal. I almost collapsed last night no family to help me either so it’s mad. I will come out the other side I just pray hard right now. Us tubies & chronic illness warriors have it hard!
