    Wonderful information. I have a MoFi 4500 (love it!) and our new Ember 21MRK has the Wingard Air 360+ on the roof. The adapters you've identified are exactly what I need. I'm probably going to mount my MoFi directly to the ceiling where the Wingard Gateway is expected to be mounted since the ceiling access is adjacent to my other coach controls. Great video, Elias!! Just subscribed. We just got our 2021 Keystone Alpine 3790FK with the Winegard AIR 360+. Great information! just subscribed. We have the Winegard but the basic 360 Winegard and works off 12V with our 12V TV. Perhaps it's pretty simple to change it out to a 360+ and add a Netgear hotspot etc.. We're not full time; but both can work from home some days: And we'll capture a few extra days when we go camping. So we just started looking. My location would be no more then 3 ft from the TV / 360 connection to hold equipment

    Great info. We recently purchased a new RV with the 360 air and decided to purchase Winegard router prior to finding this video. 2 questions - how do you change the ttl to 65? And do I instal the sim I received from AT&T before changing the ttl or after?

    • @RVSimpleLife
      @RVSimpleLife  2 роки тому +2

      Thank you for your comment. The TTL was set to 65 out of the box. It doesn’t matter when you install the sim because you will go through a series of updates and changes before your ready to leave it alone. The ttl can be changed, if needed through the back door of your router. On the back should be a web address to go to with your router running. Something like 192.168.1.10. Hope this helps.

    We just went full time on our Solitude which came with the 360+. To get started we did purchase the Winegaurd router. Ok for weekend , but it does stink. (1/2 up/down compared to iPhone12 hotspot) Just purchased the Netgear Nighthawk from AT&T and want to plug into the 360+ antenna. Right now, without it, and in a very poor coverage area, winegaurd router can’t even connect to signal. The new Nighthawk has double the up/down of iPhone12 hotspot.looking forward to see if 360+ integration makes any improvements in signal strength.

    I was just about to order Winegard's GW-1000 Gateway 4G LTE WiFi Router for AIR 360+ Antenna and sign up for the "Stand-alone AT&T" Plan, until I watched your Part 2 Video. • @RVSimpleLife
      @RVSimpleLife  2 роки тому

      Its a little different from the way you think. You can add an iPad plan to your account, purchase a SIM, call ATT to activate it with the IMEI from the iPad, then install it in the MOFI. Do not use IMEI from the MOFI as ATT does not recognize the device.

    • @RVSimpleLife
      @RVSimpleLife  3 роки тому +1

      I wanted to place the MoFi as close to the cables coming in from the Winegard. If you have no choice but to run a longer cord then I would do it to see how it turns out. If you need to shorten it later you can do that.

    • @RVSimpleLife
      @RVSimpleLife  2 роки тому

      The MOFI is a router/modem all in one. In other words, the modem portion will capture the cell signal that is used for your internet. The router portion distributes the signal wirelessly to you. You will need a SIM (for the cellular) and 110V power to operate it. For a dry camping/boondocking situation you will need something that can power the unit. We have a compact solar powered generator that we can use in situations where you do not have shore power. Here is a link, perhaps this will help. amzn.to/3zFUdaN
