Advice from most to least important:
1. Never accelerate straight up and down, because these big powerful bikes will shred the center of the tire in quick order. Rather, try to accelerate while being a bit on the side; that will greatly extend tire life.
2. Get a one piece suit. Or get two suits. Leathers for the track, and an Aerostich for the street. The Aerostich you can get into or out of in 7 seconds. You kinda need a single piece as that means business.
3. Don't speed around cars, and especially avoid passing them. Not to say don't speed and don't pass, but don't be stupid about it.
4. Most mods are a complete waste of money. And aftermarket exhaust systems are junk compared to stock. Still, some mods are required; they are case guards, radiator guards, crash guards near the tank, and front and rear axle sliders.
5. Rearsets are expensive but worth it, because they also function as frame sliders.
6. You don't need an aftermarket windshield but if you insist...just vinyl wrap it.
7. The cleanliness of your drive train and rear wheel is a reflection of the cleanliness of your soul. Too lazy to clean it? Just buy a manual chain oiler. The chain will now outlast your bike. Probably.
8. Keith Code's "A twist of the wrist" is your bible.
9. See that rear mudguard? That monstrosity? Keep it on and especially don't be cutting wires to put on a fender eliminator kit.
10. 1-9 is just there to save you money so you can do trackdays.
Great Tips and Suggestions!

Re #6 above different shapes can make a huge difference in comfort not all are just for appearance. Some of us benefit from taller windscreens such as Zero Gravity Corsa, especially if you're a taller rider.
Re #9 buy a quality fender eliminator that uses the factory wiring.
@@davidmoore_723 I do think that most riders will benefit from the "double-bubble" windshields that flows air over the top of the helmet even if you're not completely tucked in. Most riders like to peek over the top of the windscreen instead of looking through the windscreen. I personally have a Dart windscreen on my XSR900 in anticipation of my next trackday; I don't like the way I have to lay flat on a naked bike and a windscreen significantly reduces that.
However, I still put a windscreen pretty far down the list. If you're not doing a trackday and your bike already has a stock windscreen then I would see if the windscreen puts wind pressure on the center of your visor. If it does, then it's probably a good candidate to be replaced.
Having wind pressure on the center of your visor makes the helmet very loud (even if you use earplugs) and forces you to constantly push against the extra dense wind coming off the windscreen.
I respect you my brother. That prayer shows what type of person you are. Be blessed and stay covered in His Blood… In Jesus’s name! 🙏🏽👊🏽💯

Ho cuzzzz, I got a Werkes USA exhaust too. It’s loud, low growl and it’s a beast brah! Yessahhh! Buy a servobuddy it takes the check engine light away. Look up xplane tune or Moore mafia for a tune.
If it ain't BAUCE RACING it ain't for yamaha 💪
brahhh im installing tomorrow !! LETS GOOO new video next week
@@247ATP Yessah! Ho gon be loud brah!
Btw buy a servo buddy then put the exhaust on. You can run the bike like that for a bit but make sure you flash the ECU because your bike is running too lean! Yessahhh!
I second this!!
ill look into the servo buddy!! thx G
The cat is heavy af... I switched out to a M4 RM1 half system on my '23 R1M. Get a Servo Buddy and remove Servo motor.
thank you! getting it installed tomorrow LETS GOOO
Definitely get a tune
tune is NEEDED
Cool exhaust! I would keep my cat if you wanna keep your warranty. Check out mine
Audios a little off might need a dedicated mic or media mod
Servo buddy with your exhaust. PO8 filter with pair system delete.
Much appreciated feedback! Thx
Try to do the tune, exhaust, and performance parts simultaneously. Find a local dyno tuner if possible, you'll get the best results.
That’s what I had in mind. Just be patient and install it all at once. I appreciate the feedback! Thx
