wait, there's no creativity in the party one? Thats the only one I found amusing lol.
Fr I was like what?!
Wojak right lmao
I no joke went and found the video and rewatched it 20 times in a row. It brought back Harlem Shake vibes and the timing is spot on.
They don't really understand western memes.
Exactly like fr bruh
I think they don't really understand some of them, when they say "it's too much, thumbs down" like, that's the whole point, to exaggerate it so it's funny
Edit: this comment been old but yall still replyin, which i find funny,, i was like what, 15? okie whatever.
Main point, just because someone else sees it as funny, doesnt mean someone else finds it funny too. Like you can show a vid of a kid gettin harrassed by classmates and then reaching for his back pack. Most of yall will find it funny because of the whole "school shooter" stereotype. But most asians, including my friends will find it distrubing. What Im saying is that they tend to look at a situation and kind of predict whats going on. Back to my ex of the kid with the back pack. Yall find it funny cause of the stereotype, but my friends would say things like, oh what if it was a real school shooter. Just a bunch of what ifs. Main point is, something that is funny to you doesnt mean its funny to others. Also keep in mind the different cultural background. Asian cultures differ huge from American culture.
Where are you from? Why can you use the accent mark on "Sofía"? xD
CarArt4Fun bro what 👁👄👁
@@isa-nw3tw What what
@@carart4fun174 but i still dont understand the whole point is too be a joke and there not getting it
am I the only one that noticed? @6:20 dude stepped on the laptop??
omg
i noticed lol
That is crazy 😂I just noticed it now 😂😂
He is wealthy. Is a professional at sky
Really interesting to see the difference between Korean and American humor.
I think they’re rating this so seriously because they don’t like it when it brings forth sad things that the pandemic created.
I noticed this pattern in other videos as well, where they would look past the humor and look at it more literally because the topic is more serious than humorous.
They take respect very seriously as well. They probably don’t want to make fun of other’s situations and hence, don’t seem to get the dark humor.
I'm starting to believe that maybe Koreans just don't really get memes XD
they have their own kind of memes, they just dont really understand western jokes/memes
Also dark humor isn’t really a thing also exaggeration
They have different humor than us
They don’t really get sarcastic self deprecating or dark humor in general. They’re humor is really basic and literal tbh
Their***
Memes are funny no matter where you are 🤪
I'm fortunate enough to have a job that enables me to work from home, so I haven't really been feeling all that much boredom.
for me nearly nothing changed, i go to work like usually and all that stuff
The IF YOU DON'T MIND skit was hilarious especially when the manicure technician appeared. What do you mean to much ? All that extra stuff is what made it funny
Just bcuz of culture difference
@@ranyachoo6455 American humor is obvious but also subtle you have to combine both to get the entire joke.
I share a house with four of my roomates 😂😂 I've been so bored that I've started painting murals in each room. So far I've finished my room, and two of my roommate's
All of them are so relatable
I love how they took these so seriously. The humor is in satire, current conditions, but also exaggeration. A lot of comedy is in exaggeration.
I guess it's.. Cultural difference? But then a lot of Korean humor is also based off of exaggeration, if their variety shows have anything to say. So I don't know.
I guess it's because they can't relate to American memes. You need to really dig into what's happening there to get these otherwise it'll be confusing and random.
I think it’s because in variety shows, the humor isn’t making fun of anything too serious.
Here, because these videos are related to the pandemic which forces everyone to be at home, i think that’s why they find it sad rather than funny. You can see this behavior in other videos as well, where’d they’d put more focus on things that Americans usually don’t mind.
It’s also why they don’t seem to understand dark humor.
Koreans are also very big on respect so it’s most likely that they don’t want to make fun of certain situations as well.
^ This is just what I think though! Overall, I agree that it’s just the difference in culture.
I blurt out "Coronavirus" in Cardi B's voice as much as I can
I love watching these
I really don't get their humour😂 like sometimes they laugh at funny memes and then they suddenly find the funniest ones sad?? Like what😂😂
Guys, I see that y’all don’t understand us, Koreans. So imma tell you why they said thumbs down for the funny ones and saying it was sad. In simple words, Koreans have more empathy, sympathy, and they tend to care about how others are feeling. Even tho the situation might be funny, they process if that situation was funny, sad, dangerous and whatever feelings and emotions that come out, that’s how they act. So if Americans think lil kids being scared by a gorilla in a zoo and crying, Koreans will feel sorry for the lil kid. Hope this clears any questions
CarArt4Fun aw that’s actually nice, like even us British people will giggle a bit like that because things like that just are funny, But I’ve always liked Koreans, they are genuinely nice people to be around
@@carart4fun174 From what I have observed, that is so true. They give a damn about people around them. Maybe that's why their country has better control of Covid-19!
@@carart4fun174 you should look at how ruthless social media is these days even i an american feels empathy for these people getting attacked on social media
CarArt4Fun i’m american but i feel like people aren’t thinking about this. but i also have known about korean culture for years. americans really do not think about anyone but themselves. i wish more of us appreciated places like S.Korea. while i do like american humor sometimes, i still enjoy koreans showing empathy. some k-drama have better humor than our comedy movies. memes are different but i definitely love the fact it isn’t just laughing at others pain. very nice to see. cultural difference is a thing. though individuals can have different tastes no matter where in the world. i have seen japanese people react to our humor, and was very surprised at how they reacted. even some koreans like the darker humor!
Their way of rating these is quite weird.

@@carart4fun174 pretty rude tbh. i have alot of empathy and sympathy too, but i also have personality smh.
@@venusown I think they confuse sympathy and empathy for inability to grasp intellectual wit and sarcasm.
@@venusown same I am extremely sympathetic and empathetic but when a Kid falls hard onto the ground because he tripped I'd die from laughter but afterwards I do feel bad for him
@@apersonwhoenjoysrangasmr8961 yeah me too
I would watch an hour of their reactions lol
why are they together if it's a quarantine lol
it's not as harsh in korea as it seems, to my understanding pretty much everything is the same as usual
It started dying down in Korea already
Because in South Korea the issue is been handled differently, they tested pretty much the whole population at the beginning of the pandemic, so there, the virus is dying down pretty quickly
@Jada Hines I wish it was the case in France too...
Emma Palisse tellement...
7:19 I'M DYING 💀💀🤣
I like the wat they said "Corona Virus!"😂
Everyone was fun but sis with the brown striped shirt.....I mean...🤐🤐🥶
Sis kept disliking everything
Maureen Kalio wdym, she’s also nice btw 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 and she didn’t dislike it all 👀
Usually I agree but this time I feel she was maybe shy or having a not so good day (period maybe?) She did enjoy a lot of them though :)
True...she might have been having an off day tbh but I was getting that shy ‘I’m not familiar with this/I won’t do this therefore it’s bad vibe from her’ but then what do I know....how can I judge ones character based off how many minutes screen time Ignore me while I rant unnecessarily to the whole world...y’all are just trying to quarantine in peace
Like she stressed or smthn 🙅🏻♀️
I don't think the ppl watching or making these memes are taking light of the situation we're in. Like they said, they want to make look happy and they are the ones following quarantine and staying home.
I have to go out to get medicine for my daughter every 2-3 wks (can't be shipped), and I understand the seriousness of the pandemic. At the children's hospital you are questioned and your temperature is taken and you're not allowed to touch the debit machines and you stand 6ft apart. But I love watching funny videos because if I'm not laughing, I would be anxious and depressed and crying every night.
True some people don't get is to make it more easy for us we have to laugh at it, if we take it too serious we might have panic and do nothing. I work in a supermarket, I have to go outside and interact with clients but still if I just get so serious of the matter and don't pocke fun at my situation or weird stuff that happens during the quarentine... I would go mad or not work because of my paranoic mind. But I think this is for the quarentine and anything that happens in the world, we make fun but also we take matters in our hands at try to fix it or at least do our part to not keep bad things going.
Simple answer to all this were............................................../..................NOT WATCH IT AT ALL!😂🙄. I’d understand your situation but if you don’t like them doing this memes you should not force yourself to watch them. They’re doing this for fun and relatable to certain situations like I dunno US who are sitting home bored???? Thought of that sweetie???🙄
I’ve been sitting home too long as my government initiated lockdown .Cant I have fun little just by watching this cool video ???😬😝
But doesn’t when laugh to a video means you liked it? How they gave some clips a thumbs down after they laughed 😂
Everyone: “Ohhhh”😦
That one girl: 🤭🤣😂
"In foreign countries, they panic buying toilet paper." 😂

The graduation one, I felt that one. My college graduation was cancelled too. And saddest part, for me, is that I didn't go to the high school graduation ceremony. So no graduation ceremony again.
The smoking toilet was funny. And his reaction to it was funny too.
Aw I hope maybe you can have a celebration to yourself 🥺
@@strawberryblaze3292 Yeah. That's what my parents are planning once my diploma is mailed out and I recieve it. Supposedly it'll be here in July though.
*These are even funnier with them reacting to it😂💜*
I've found that koreans are super nice. They care so much about people, and it always puts a smile on my face. If someone is hit in a video they get worried. It's really nice to see. ^^
The toilet paper in the window made me LMAO as for a few months stores actually ran out! The memes kept
you laughing... that and Netflix saved the day. Our lying gov. leaders made it worse. People lost their jobs and
were cancelled. The MSM/Social platforms did not allow any other point of view.
Am I the only one who low-key feels happy when they like an american tik tok or anything american related or is it just me.
Sip_jinger_ale_not_tae I’m not even american but I feel the same haha
Seven billion people in the world exists and you feel like it's just you
^ lmao. blunt af 😂
Nah not me
The girls are right, if people are tooooo serious over the coronavirus to the point where making funny videos AT home is an issue than everyone would be more depressed than they already are. Hell, think of the people that are already depressed and used the outside as a coping mechanism. They can't really do that since even the outside is dangerous as well.
These memes can be used positively, especially for people that REALLY need 'em.
Yesssss the memes are getting better, good job
8:18 Taehyun from TXT did this as well😭😭 he was so adorable! Taehyun best boy.
Right now I really wish I lived in South Korea. I'm an essential service worker, I work 40 hours a week. We have to wear masks and gloves and wash our hands every time the timer goes off, which is fine and a good practice, but customers are not required to do any of these things to protect us. I haven't been anywhere besides work, my house, and Costco in almost 3 months, haven't seen or barely even heard from friends, haven't been alone until this morning when I had my house to myself for a few brief hours of bliss. For almost a month, I was the only member of my household going to work. I came home after 8 hour shifts, where I interact with doctors and nurses frequently, and had 12 credits worth of classes to complete, which were suddenly online. I try not to focus on it, but I'm really starting to be severely situationally depressed, and I'm crying while I write this. I'm so angry at the way the New Jersey and American governments have handled this, and so tired of people coming to my job with no mask on, then telling me to "Be safe!" before they leave. I just want to hug my best friend again.
I can't imagine Koreans understanding the toilet paper crisis we had last year when they don't even use the stuff 😂 They got those water spraying toilet things.
Ok I just watched a ton of your vids... It is very entertaining

My favourite part from this video was just the way they say 3,2,1.
I'm not even bored since I'm just living like normal lmao wait that's sad :(

the sanitizer was the tip bc even those were out of sale everywhere. couldnt find shit in germany
React to filthy frank or joji
Culture clash, maybe? I don't think they understand that Americans make memes or jokes to get through stuff. In Korea if it looked like the government we're about to involve itself in a Middle Eastern war, people would take it seriously. In America, people would take it seriously too, but they'd also make WW3 memes to be able to get through the anxiety of it all. Everything isn't meant to be 100% serious for us. It's not just them, it's all Koreans. I would read Pann and Naver (Korean news sites) and back when Korea's coronavirus problem was at it's very peak, there was someone (not a rich A-lister so it's not offensive) who posted a picture of them in a hazmat suit doing stuff in the house. I personally laughed at it till I realised it was trending because people were cussing them out and angry at them for "taking the joke too far" and I was like: huh...??? what?!
these tiktoks werent all american lol
.. and these tiktoks for the most part wasn't funny at all, to be honest. Many of the ideas the supposed "creators" used, have been copied from someone else before them. Unoriginal.
America in many wars.... The problem is America's government.
4:30 what is song?

I can tell that American humor must be a lot more weird, relatable, and darker than Korean humor.
First
Favourrrr ❤️
i also think its ok to make funny videos to cheer people up as long as what is shown i the videos does not encourage people to go against their gov guidelines in this situation. sadly some people do create videos just to make money instead of wanting to make people laugh so sometimes that angers me as well. but in the end i think we need to find happiness wherever we can right now. for that ill continue to watch your videos :D
People gotta remember that they’re from a different country with different perspectives so their humor might be different from American humor
Them: laugh at the video
Also them: “nah I didn’t like it, wasn’t fun, thumbs down”

Haha I’m beginning to realize just how different our sense of humor is compared to Koreans
Honestly, Korean humor is quite childish. :/
They seem to have so much trouble understanding self-depricating humor and whatnot. They're typically more inclined to laugh at things like funny faces and slapstick.
...It's kind of bizarre.

It’s not bizarre, it’s a different culture.
American comedy reflects American society just like Korean comedy reflects their own society.

I like the tiktok one where people say water is coming out of the bathroom but it’s just water bottles
for the next vid: maybe Koreans react to German music
They’re humor is very literal and straightforward which is why I think they thumbs down and say it was too much. Very different from American humor.
you should show them "21st century humor for -amnount of time-" videos those can be funny. For now.

the thing is that those of class 2020 began to make fun of the other classes and those of 2023 more because it was considered one of the dumbest classes and nobody wanted to be in that class and more because of the silly things they did in tiktok then The COVID thing happened and those of the 2020 class were not going to have a ceremony as they wanted and then the other classes were making fun of the class of 2020, it was crazy.
Let them react to the top 5 songs of rapcaviar, would be pretty nice to see them react to mainstream rap.
Dang im early
lmao they were just ratings based on how relatable the tiktok was for them. they laughed at every video so they do know what comedy is, the situation in korea is just a little bit different so even if they were funny, they could not relate to them 100%, that's it
I gave them all a thumbs up. But as you can see their thumbs are upside down when they are suppose to be up there was a glitch
How can some people say making these videos reflects how people are not taking the virus situation seriously? The fact they are all staying home means they are taking it seriously lol
Try to react to "I'm just a kid tiktok compilation"

7:16 That was an odd comment. Come find me when you sleep
“I could relate so it’s down” i mean.. that’s the point?! It wouldn’t be funny if you didn’t understand how it feels. They take that feeling and exaggerate it to make it entertaining.
