Great review fir an awesome episode! Please go back and look at the title card where Bree and Frank are looking at the famous painting of Molly Pitcher at the Battle of Monmouth in the museum!! They have altered the painting and put Jamie on the front right by the cannon, and Claire on the left kneeling over a wounded man. It is so cool!! And of course my mind is wondering if Frank is recognizing that it is Claire?🤗
FYI : Diana went to the church, when she was writing that part of the book. The set designer also went by photos. The Church still stands today, in its' original form & still used. Carol from "My Outlander Purgatory" gives a brief ( 3 minute ) tour of the church & it's history . Very interesting & I think it's worth a look.
Great reaction Alexa. Perhaps they decided not to portray more of the battle because the Scottish weather prevented them from doing it accurately with Molly Pitcher, etc. I just heard yesterday that these episodes were shot in January and February, not great when you need 100 degree heat.
I was going to have a profanity laced furniture breaking tirade over the two week delay until the finale. The kids would have loved it. But, you delayed right up to it, so now I have nothing. Tomorrow's the finale, and future historians will think everything just lined right up. Sigh.

"Never regret growing old... it is a privilege denied to many". Sorry, can't remember who's quote this is, but I do remind myself of this often!
Thank you do much for your reaction and you're certainly right this was emotional in the books as well. Thanks again .😢❤
How I handled that part in the book? Reading faster and canceling all other engagements in the meantime
Excellent review 😊

First time i'm this early! Looking forward to this one. :)
Sorry it took so long - I was a mess after that ending and only now edited it!
@@alexachipman No problems at all! :)

Again with swearing George Washington. Either Diana Gabaldon knows something I don't, or she's messing with me. 🤔
