I know a few people who have done it with the Dewalt which is significantly slower and substantially more annoying. This Milwaukee could absolutely do a whole roof
The Milwaukee Cordless Nailer is larger and heavier than any pneumatic roofing nailer. In production roofing, light, nimble tools make for faster work. This cordless nailer is quick, but due to its weight and size, working on a large roof area would be fatiguing after a while. This is why I think it is ideal for projects and repairs where you can forget about the need for a compressor and hoses.
This will roof a full house indeed if you have a few batteries , only issue i have is maybe over heating. If Milwaukee could make a proper specific pouch to hold it would be nice i dont know any application in reroofing that needs a farter hook and the hook i would not trust 25 feet off the ground Looks great no sound like the Dewalt what a let down gun IMO Cheers finally Roofers get a look from The Big Red Machine Thanks a lot, Roof On !
120 nails/coil, 1100 shots per charge means you have the recharge every 9 coils. Roofing a whole house, we have compressors already. It would be good for repairs/small jobs.
@@hunterwolfe9059lol ya the nailer has an option for 3.0 battery and that’s 1100 shots, I got a 5.0 so I’m assuming about 1850 nails more or less, think the 8.0 would get about 2950-3000 nails
Non-marring bumpers... give me a break dude. If you'd ever been on a roof in your life you'd know they're so it doesn't slide off the roof when you set it down
You spent 18 minutes showing us what the tool can do without even showing us what it can do. You barely shot 2 nails/second. 90% of the success of this tool will be based on its speed, even if it is intended for repair jobs. Roofers want a fast tool… why did you deliberately avoid demonstrating that?
It’s really hard to see reviews from guys that plays with tools n put em in back of the video to show off what they got and not a review from actual roofer I means it’s just like a regular air roofing nailer but it’s battery powered how hard is that to explain no one wanna how u load or adjust depth as a roofing we know put that thing to real use I don’t wanna see you toying with it or just return it
@@watertiteman I’ll be looking forward to that but put it to real use haven’t seen anyone doing that yet be the first n no how to load how to adjust depth or other crap every roofer know that ….lets see what’s this gun can do for real ✌️
Why don't you think it's designed for re-roofing an entire house? I think you could re-roof an entire house with it.
I did it with the dewalt since he came out and still work
Entire roof

DAMN WELL IF I'M $PENDING $379 using it to REROOF MY House

Waiting for the 3 amp Forge battery for less weight

This will DEFINITELY roof an entire house. Milwaukee is not going to put out a coil nailer, that is specifically for "small jobs"😂
Lol. The box literally says "for small jobs and repairs". I am going to be using one on a 50 sq. roof tomorrow. (That's small, right?)
@watertiteman how did it do? I'm a roofer and I'm thinking about getting one. Ty
Can it do a whole roof? Obviously.
Is it ideal? No.
These are great for repairs and siding.
What about it makes you think it would side a whole house, but not roof it?
Thanks👍🏽
Can you use this on wood siding
Yes works very well

Did you forget almost everyone has more than 1 battery. And larger batteries lol

Take another battery with you?

Cause he's old lol
I wonder why Milwakee not sending to actual roofing who know what they doing and know how to use and not to tell other roofer how to adjust depth

I am going to be trying one of these out tomorrow on a 50 square roof. Think I will post a video. Will be first video I've ever done on my channel!
