Lesson one: Russian is said exactly how it is written! Not like English with silent letters.
Lesson six: Here is the one thousandth example of a word with silent letters for a seemingly unexplained reason xD

you can spell the words as they are written, just your speech will be similar to the territorial dialect of the northern part of Russia, for example, the city of Vologda.
There is a solution for that problem - Russians should start speaking Serbian.
At least it's never as bad as french.

It really helps when you say "it's really easy" all the time. l'm even starting to believe in it!
She doesn’t only say it buts means it. Russian is Easy. That’s coming from a native English speaker. When you learn all the rules, Russian becomes easier than English. There’s less rules to follow and multiple ways to say one thing. The “Russian is hard” idea most folks have is a myth. All it takes is practice and motivation

Omg me too... I've been in Ukraine for 2 years now... And I was in a catastrophic grammar situation 😂... I'm so much better with grammar now... Still have much to learn... But now it all seem easy and understandable with Daria

I'm a Russian guy, but it's very interesting for me to watch anyway, because I learn Spanish for a year now, got quite far already, and nevertheless I'm very curious on how you present complex information -- and now I can use similar approaches and techniques in my own studying. Yes, She is a good teacher and teach easily that every one can understand easily, only I want from teacher Daria to write the meaning of every endings or suffixes or cases endings to its English meaning on White board to know it well, the rest is good and perfect.

Every time I start a new lesson ... I want to turn and run. I had confidence coming into this lesson, because I mastered lesson 5 after a couple weeks of practice. Enter Lesson 6, and now I'm back in the deep end of the pool, having forgotten how to swim. I fear one day my feeble brain won't be able to keep up, but I will continue to try! I was actually able to read most of this, thanks to Daria.
Lesson 6 has taught me something vitally important that I have not learned anywhere else:
I suck at drawing scissors.
The best part of the class is when you draw something to use as an exemple, it helps a lot to remember.

Once again I have to tell you how much I appreciate your teaching style. I have had the opportunity to teach with a similar style in France and the USA over the years and needed this. I watched your verb conjugation lesson with my notebook and it became clear in one hour. I went back and did some Duolingo and they made sense!
I once had some students beg my for this type of lesson because the textbooks weren't giving them any simple explanation like you've done here. I asked them if they wanted the old school way. They all thanked me.

I can see how difficult Russian can be for English speakers, but its very similar to Portuguese (language i speak), provided you master their alphabet.

Seriously though, Daria you explain things *so* much more clearly than anyone else I have found. I'm not the type you described in lesson 5 that wants to front-load absolutely all the grammar, but I do already have French, German and Italian and I find that I learn phrases and vocab much faster if I have just a little bit of a framework to hang them onto, so your style of teaching suits me very well.

This is the best club ( Of course online Leaning) which I have seen till now. I watched some other videos too but not so much helping. I usually watch the videos two or three times each, taking notes, going over notes, and then copying notes in a way thats organized. This lesson seems to be a lot to take in all at once, but I'll make it.
