I just have to thank you for zooming in on Steve Jay at about :54 seconds. I've been struggling to learn exactly what he does there for AGES and thanks to this video I finally figured it out.
This makes me think of something I can not unsee. I was at a farm center with my mom, and we went past a mud hole, where we saw two pigs getting ready to get it on. (I was in my twenties, so I wasn't traumatized.)
@@djm5687 To make things even more memorable, my mom noticed a field trip nearby, and was like "OH, SHIT!". She ran to a teacher to warn her about it. I believe the teacher came over, but I'm not sure. All I remember was her saying "They;'re doing it?", and my mom said "No, they're getting ready.".
Every time I think of it, I joke about a popular nursery rhyme. This little piggy went to the market, This little piggy stayed home, This little piggy had roast beef, This little piggy had none, And this little piggy felt like he needed some action So he found another piggy who would give him satisfaction
Now I'm reminded of something my parents saw, that I'm pretty sure, at the time, they wished they could unsee. They were taking a dog for a walk, and another dog had the hots for ours, and... Let's just say the other dog wasn't fixed. According to my mom, this was their reaction. Mom: "Did you see that?" Dad: "Yes."
weirdalfan1980 Thanks for your comment. Hopefully, this video somewhat makes up for your seating! I still hope that you thought it was a good, "different style" Weird Al concert.
Cookie Huffman Perhaps he actually wanted Al to buy him a condominium! Thanks for your comment. If you saw the concert in person, I hope that you enjoyed it.
Cookie Huffman This tour was certainly different. I think that Alfred just wanted to focus on the music and do what would be for bands "regular" concerts. That was the overall impression that I got. Thanks again for your comments. Please feel free to check out my Chicago videos on my channel, too!
Actually I prefer to sit up further at his concerts, he has extravagant lighting it shows better whereas down in the front rows you don;t see the lighting better.
Al still looks like he hasn't aged. No offense to the band, but if a guy like Al told me he was only like 40 years old I'd say "he looks good for 40" (I'm 40).
MOE is one of my fave Al songs. But live it really misses some... oomph?. Needs a middle thicker sound, maybe guitarist should drop the Strat for a Les Paul for this one
I that this version sounded fine. The purpose of this tour was to have a more "stripped down", less "produced" sound. Thanks for your comment, anyway. Please feel free to view and comment on my other videos.
I've actually heard more balls from telecasters than I have Les Paul's if they have the right pickups. This sounds great. You're forgetting it's just a shitty phone recording so sound gets distorted, its very possible it sounds more full in person.
@@djm5687 doesnt matter what you record with. It's a concert, it's going to be crap audio quality unless you have access to the soundboard, which you didnt.
@@vincentellis7810 Thanks for the reply. I am not that familiar with technical terms. This tour wasn't being professionally recorded. How exactly can a civilian (legally) access the "soundboard" during a concert?
So cool to SEE them playing Fun Zone, instead of the usual pre-recorded intro!
Thanks for your comment. Please feel free to check out and comment on my other videos.
it's not the same 1989 original though but oh well.....
I bought a front row ticket to this show on the day of the show. Already had tickets for my wife and I for the Friday show, but I coulnd't resist.
I saw Weird Al live on stage last year with my Dad and I got Meet and Greet VIP tickets.

I would have been moshing during Fun Zone. It fills me with energy.

I read that this was in the style of Foo Fighters. Does anyone know if he ever played it with them?
I was there furthest point possible ^^ UU 1, I may as well be in the ceiling.

Cookie Huffman Oh no! You sat in the "PP" row....

I'm guessing he used MasterCard to pay for the lemonade, since, in When I Was Your Age, he said he sold his internal organs.
