I heard this song on cassette when I was 6, maybe 7 and I absolutely fell in love with this song. I would watch and listen to Weird Al music videos on UA-cam way before the “adpocalypse.” God, where does the time go?
I wasn't born until the 90s, but I also listened to Weird Al's earlier music from the 80s as well as his more current stuff as a child. I always loved this song and definitely to this day feel that it's one of his most underrated ones!
I desperately wanted him to do this at the Rochester, MN show, but he didn't. It was still a great show with many great songs I enjoyed hearing live for the first time. I wish more bands I love would do this with their set lists.
It was one of those tours, one of those shows. Of all the songs he was rotating this tour, he didn't do the one I wanted to see THE most at my show (Buy Me A Condo) but he did 9 other of my favs of his that I never got to see before, including this, plus 3 of my favs that I had already seen at some point and wasn't sure that I'd ever get to see again (Albuquerque, One More Minute, and You Don't Love Me Anymore) and 4 others that I was meh on, but still cool to see live. While I still can't help but be slightly dissapointed I didn't get Buy Me A Condo.... It's hard to be too dissapointed with the amazing show I did get. :)
True Story, one of these Midnight Star 'stories' is ACTUALLY true... I just can't tell you which one as revealing it would violate National Security protocol...
I think he does it unconsciously to concentrate. He's sitting so he's secure on stage so he eliminates an unneeded sense to do better with pitch and time. And he is older now, it could be he has to work a little harder for those high notes.

A lot of us did. Cheers🍻
This song always takes me back to my childhood in the early 80s. It just has the most 80s vibe ever.

Patrick Schulteis STOP SHOUTING
In 3-D is my favorite album, and this song is in a tie with the other 20 of my favorites.
I was there with my Grammie and we both loved it I had so much fun seeing him and I wish to see him again
I saw him in an interview where he talked about his multi generational audience. So nice you guys got to see the show together.
great, going in May
Fantastic
Good job. Great video!
Thanks for sharing!
Thank for Weird Al 😊
Because of all the comedy stuff he does people underestimate just how awesomely talented Al actually is…..(This was awesome!)
Why aren't more people concerned with the fact that the incredible Frog Boy is on the loose again!?!
I AM VERY CONCERNED!
I mean, just to be serious for a moment, you can learn to cope with stress, even beat the IRS.....

Did you balance your camera on the bass drum or are my headphone levels wrong?
Al is always squinting when he sings now. I hope it's not painful for him.
Shoddy Workmanship the lighting maybe?
@@kissfanmac: Can confirm, it's significantly easier to tank stage lighting with glasses on than without.
