Since you're not rock crawling, the stock rack will probably do you pretty well for a while. Most of the inner tie rods I see bent or broke are when people are wedged up against a rock and trying to push the weight of the whole vehicle against the edge of a 35 or 37. I know some folks have used Tundra racks in FJs - I imagine you can fit it in a 4Runner. I wanna say RCLT uses a LC200 rack.

I know for a fact the 200 series LC rack can work in a 4th gen, and would imagine/hope this stays true for the 5th gen’s as well.
You can use a 200 or a tundra rack with ease, we will see what happens while running a cooler and only on 35’s.

It’s pretty much the same in that case. The Canbus in a 4th gen is a lot easier to trick though!
