Thankyou! It took a lot of attempts to find a good layout incorporating that box!

I can just see in your face how happy you are with your craft room! 🌸🤗🌸 It's a dream come true. You conveyed exactly the style you're after and it's coming together beautifully. It will also evolve over time as you add more furnishings. I now reeeaally want a craft room 😆😆😆

OMG we could be related - your style is exactly the same as my own. I have very light pink walls in my sewing room, I love cottagey rooms and all that goes with that. we moved to Norfolk so I was able to create that style throughout the house. I am very new to crocheting but have nearly completed a Daisy blanket. I used a Seed Stitch around the yellow middle of the daisy and then turned it into a square with, yep you guessed it, pink wool LOL. I am a quilter primarily but am enjoying learning to crochet. Going into a wool shop is like a drug LOL I HAVE TO HAVE YARN. I have today just come across your channel and have subscribed - shall enjoy watching your videos. Loved the video of you showing the 9/10 blankets you have made. Thank you for all you do and be assured your have a viewer for life. x

Omg it does sound like we have very similar styles! Very jealous of your cottagey house, that’s the dream!
Yarn is definitely addictive, I’m on a self imposed ban right now because I’m sorting it out and I can’t pretend I don’t have enough anymore 🤣🤣
Interesting that you quilt! Do you have any UA-cam channels you can recommend about quilting?

@@meemamakes ok can't find my reply so here we go. the UA-cam Channel I watch is Missouri Star Quilt Company. About 7 to 8 years ago I couldn't sew a button on and now I am making SuperKing Quilts for the beds. jenny Doan at MSQ really taught me to sew. They show you the completed quilt and then demonstrate how to make a block and set it out. Don't look at the whole quilt when making one as it is very overwhelming. Look at the quilt one block at a time and the rest will all fall into place when you have completed all blocks. I also watch Lori Holt at Bee in my Bonnet as she does a lot of Applique Quilts. I am currently making a Sunbonnet Sue Quilt. Very old block, I think 17th or 18th Century. But ohhhh such fun. Another thing I have learnt, the quilts for the bed - instead of purchasing fabric for that size quilt, which is very pricy and you would have to piece t together. I go into Dunelm and purchase one of their SuperKing flat sheets and use that for the back of the quilt, after all that is what it is for. I would be pleased to help you at any time regarding quilting, it can be overwhelming and confusing but once you understand the different techniques you'll be fine. You can PM me anytime on my Facebook page - be glad to help or answer any questions you may have. Thanks again for your lovely videos I am enjoying them very much. Have a good day. Linda x

@@lindamercer1736 wow Thankyou for such a detailed reply! Very very helpful. I will have a look at those channels. I have done some hand piecing previously and tried to piece a quilt from old sheets before but I never finished anything. I’ll be binging those channels now! And thankyou for offering to message you, if I come across anything confusing I’ll definitely send you a message! Thankyou so much ❤️
