Jerry’s third video in this tying series, he demonstrates tying the Ultra Mini-Intruder. This size Intruder is ideal for Summer Steelhead and low water winter conditions. In earth tone colors, the smaller Intruder is effective to swing for trout.

Jerry French has a great solution to rigging a trailing hook on shank flies. This system is great to use with Intruders, Ultra Squids, Sculpin patterns and other shank style flies. The Ultra Rig System gives the tier the ability to place the hook behind the fly at any length they desire. Who doesn’t like tying intruders , caught a big brown on the Bighorn a couple of years back with a black and blue version of this . He just crushed it :-)

Aqua Flies nope , but I bet it would be fun . Heading to the Missouri today for a week . Looking for big brown’s on the move. Sex Dungeons and some big intruders :-)
