Polar chenile stacked on itself holds water and mats. I understand that the intruder its a platform. That being said a little respect for the platform is called for. Techniques are good but far from an intruder.
Why do you call that an intruder?
According to Jerry French, who helped create it, they call it the Intruder because it's a big gawdy fly that intrudes into the steelhead's personal space.
Sorry mate, thats a popsicle fly at best not an intruder...
So basically make a fly that the LGBTQ community approves of...
