About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

Laughing at a friend behind someone's back is a great way of breaking the silence.
behind *his / her / their* back
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
@@Formula7Driver like friend didn't already include all that
@@rynor2691 please learn how to read before you start writing
@@Formula7Driver what are you talking about telling the other guy learn to read? His comment made perfect sense. Friend was referring to Jerry, and it is pretty much all encompassing.
how can george say urinals are more fun? thought he was always a stall man lol
LOL
An ex and I are like this, we gossip abt our friends lmao its nice
George and Elaine already know each other so it's a little different, but I definitely know the awkward pain of being stuck with a friend of a friend.
Twenty four friends of a friend of yours agree.
@@co94 lol, you got me
@@BigR.O.B. 😜
Then they talk about jerry and all is solved 😂
It's great that George and Elaine's relationship really evolved after this.
They had nothing to talk about until they started ripping on Jerry then they had a great time
Lol even before this episode, they were friends and had no problem being around each other with no awkwardness. They went to the flea market that one time when George and Mike Moffitt fight over a parking space. It was just a funny idea to do
They literally teamed up to poison George’s boss before this. Lol.
@@billblaski9523 Yeah. They forced the awkwardness in this episode for the storyline.
@@billblaski9523 This was earlier in season 3 the flea market episode was at the end of the season.
Three friends together: we three are such great friends!
Two friends minus the main friend: umm... hi let me introduce myself
There’s always been such an awkward tension between George and Elaine. 😂
I'm surprised Kramer didn't declare them to be unknowingly in love.
I think he's scared of her. You ever seen what she did to that Panama hat of his!
They were never really that close, Jerry was kinda the bridge between them
@@distantraveller9876No kinda about it. He definitely was! Look at them here, he’s all they have in common 😂
and just between George and basicly everyone 😅 he and Kramer get real tense when they are alone to, hahha
So funny. George and Elaine at coffee shop is like every first date I ever been on 😂
That's one thing I liked about my wife, when we were dating there were no awkward silences. Like we would talk. We would not talk. And silence was okay, like neither of us had thing to say and that was okay. You know you've got something when you can talk for hours without running out of topics, or you can just sit quietly without having to say a word, and that's okay.
@@andmicbro1same here, been married 31 years now
George is never comfortable with anyone beside Jerry.
George and Elaine went to the flea market together. They seemed fine.
In the beginning
He did get comfortable with Kramer later.
@@sreeharivenat8002 yeah but most of the time jerry is around.
It's because George is trapped in a web of unsustainable and unrequited man love for Big Jerry.
I like the term "Friend-in-Law" for this situation. Good choice of words.
The way he's not really facing her at the table 😂 like he's ready to run
I think it's hilarious that even when they both knew they weren't good enough friends to hang out, they both still agreed to hang out and proceed with the silence
I love how the dynamics went from awkward and sincere in the early episodes to full on comfortable disfunction later on, especially with the elaine/kramer sub plots.
"June 29, 1980" Like if you know why
If Elaine wasn’t living there in 1980 how would she have seen Jerry throw up
It was the b/w cookie.
Last time Jerry threw up. It was the black and white cookie.
@@smac9273 She easily could have seen him dry heave, which is close to vomiting.
@@nicholasquinones1071 *dry humping
The scene of them in the coffee shop is written so well that’s how it is in real life. I’ve done this myself lmao
This is any time I’m meant to have dinner with the whole family and my brothers don’t show up. 😂
So true just a bombardment of questions lol
Always the case, isn't it?
George is so annoyed with the way Elaine gets the last out of her tea bag 😂
That's what causes the tea to turn butter never squeeze the bag
she can squeeze my bag anytime!
His grimacing is supposed to reflect the agonizing awkwardness of the moment. Her squeezing that tea bag means that she has zero interest in trying to impress George, and he knows it.
Even in her Amish Miss America dress, Elaine was a hawtie.
You mean the one in the flashback of The Little Kicks episode?
I think they need to have a long talk about how they have nothing to talk about
It's like a talk about nothing. Everybody's talking about something, we'll talk about nothing!
@@bink not that there's anything wrong with that
@@RahulKumar-ng2gh Of course not! I have many friends I talk about nothing with.
@@bink do you live across the hall?
@@mh.blue_swish25 I do indeed. Btw, I just love Hampton tomatoes, you can eat them like apples! 🍅
I like that they’re talking about seeing Ponce de Leon and then seasons later they’re arguing about how good or bad they thought the ending was
The ending of Ponce de Leon? When did they talk about the ending of that movie in a later season? I don't remember that conversation at all.
I don’t remember the exact episode but George and Elaine are waiting in line to see a movie and she mentions how the ending was stupid and George says he cried
@@NTWoo95 Oh, yeah. Now I remember. "The Movie" Season 4, Episode 14
I got second hand tension and social anxiety at the beginning when Jerry told them to go lmao
The conversation at 1:14 is so funny because it’s so relatable
Elaine is so beautiful 😊
The moment when you go out with a friend and can't find subjects to discuss😆😅
these type of situations always happened with a person that you know but who is not a close friend like acquaintance or something...
At least the dingo didn't eat Elaine's baby
George and Elaine's conversation in the cafe is basically my conversation with anyone.
At 1:58 mark, Elaine breaks the character. She was supposed to be yawning, she starts yawning and then begins to laugh.
Jerry doesn't know Morning Thunder has caffeine in it!
Pretty sure "Morning Thunder" is one of the generic sodas from Sam's Club/Wal-Mart....or is it Mountain Thunder?
We've all had friend groups where you all tend to get along, but there's the one person that's kind of the glue that holds the group together and when they're gone...you kinda don't really hang out with the other people, even tho you may like them.
It's a really weird thing with human relationships..."I like hanging out with you but only when this other person is there"
Definitely need a best of Newman
Kinda reminds me of how uncomfortable George was when he was around Kramer in the earlier episodes.
Elaine secretly wanted to find a way to get George and Kramer out of the way and have Jerry all to herself.
I don't think so.
I love all the George and Elaine scenes. I think they had more in common than either would have liked to admit. The comic chemistry between JA and JLD is terrific.
Omg I can’t believe I forgot this part! Thank you thank you, just shows how much fun we had with this series. It typified 90s New York

Did you ever see him throw up .... Oh man that's hilarious.
This was all before the big salad.
Dont you hate it when your friend introduces you to their other friend, thinking they are giving you your new besty? Always the worst.
Julia Louis Dreyfus' chin is similar to Reese Witherspoon.
it is
I don't think her chin is like Reese Witherspoon at all. Reese is much taller and has hair.
@@Cyril_Squirrel Reese Witherspoon has hair on her chin?
We talked about this already.
There are totally people I've had fun with in a friend group, but 1 on 1 is so awkward. Like we need to have someone else to help break up the awkwardness.
It's a really interesting dynamic of human interaction, where one person is like a facilitator of comfort for the group, and you notice that when they leave.
2:59 “Have you ever seen Jerry throw up?” But I thought Jerry hadn’t thrown up since June 29, 1980!
Interesting how Georgia and Elaine are hangout I’m not useing it okay they need Jerry 😅😅😅
Actually they are bonding over their mutual like of Jerry
To Christopher I love you 😍💗
The rubber duck 😂
“You ever see him throw up?!”
I’ve had that moment of retelling the same story.
Worse is I’ve asked to hear a story and the person will tell me they’ve already told me, that’s when they REALLY don’t wanna talk to you! 😂
That was a great puppy 😂🤣😂
Always want to be sitting at this cafe with these guys having coffee or. TEA ~ Jerry doesn't know "Morning Thunder" has caffeine 🤣🤣🤣
That's how it feels everywhere when my sister isn't with me.
Their scenes together are fantastic. My favourite is the importer/exporter lie.
the original cringeboy and failgirl
I love this episode
Funny how they went from nothing to talk about, to having something in common, to trying to one-up each other in terms of their friendship with Jerry :)
This was awkward....LOL
I would've had so much fun with Elaine because I'm very hyperactive and she's so crazy and spontaneous lol but George is so awkward around her 😂😂
I wish we could have seen Jerry after some "Morning Thunder."
I thought morning thunder was a way of describing a man's erection in the mornings. .. It just seems so appropriate to describe in that way..
Elaine wearing her "farmer" outfits. Particularly fun when she dons her white socks.
elaine lived in Baltimore tbh
I'm sure you thought that made any sense/fit the context of the clip in your head before you posted it.
😂😂
1:56 Elaine made me yawn, too, lol
There is something in Elaine's voice when she says "we talked about it already". Like it suddenly became very soft somehow...
Amazingly, I don't remember this episode... ???
This should have been Kramer and George rather than Elaine and George. George and Kramer had a much more awkward relationship.
This was funny and all but it didn't quite work in the show chronology because george and elaine had already been alone together prior to this episode, this was a plot line they should've done opening series.
Elaine is soooo cutee
Prediction: You will ask me to visit Farful by the month's end..
Can’t stand the way George comes into the apartment in this scene.
This feels like every conversation I have some days.
86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91. Elaine and I were there.
you know, it is more fun using the urinal, now that i think about it
We all have that one friend in our groups
Love Elaine's hair...
Then there was that weekend I was sick and spent the whole time taking naps, coughing up a lung, and binge watching Seinfeld clips. It was a pretty good time.
She hated them at the end
Lot's of laugh
