About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

George was always proof that beggars *could* in fact, be choosers.
Watching Elaine struggle to try and make George sound attractive is hilarious. :)
That's a woman do the negatives and the men are the positives
He's a really really funny guy 😂
He can lift 100lb!
He's a really really funny guy 😂
He once spent a weekend with a woman
"He's short, fat, bald, unemployed and he tried to kill someone."
Basically, every guy who has ever used the Craigslist personals. LOL
@@ZetaReticuli_lol 🤣 that caught me off guard
Other then that he is a real Catch 😂😂🤷♀️
😂😂😂😂
Oh but don’t ya worry Janice a few seasons later he’s going to way top you with meeting Michelle’s pfeiffers hot looking sister dee dee who’ll get him essentially a good job with the Yankees so you better get him now
I have no idea why Elaine didn’t tell Cynthia she actually helped George to try and poison his boss😂
Despite the casual wardrobe, smart observations, and great opportunities they achieved, George/Jerry/Elaine/Kramer are actually horrible people.
@@steverogers7601 thereby they are more like real people than most other characters on tv…
@@steverogers7601 So they behave like a high percentage of our current society.

I think they are hilarious but they have some significant character flaws
I think this is probably Jerry's best acting in the entire run of the show. Lol "Thick, lustrous hair is very important you? Is that what you said?"
George: "A pinkish hue"
Lol
Jerry: "There's a hue"
I was done after that ☠️
Hearing Janice's real voice still catches me off guard
Wellllll i guess she did her part pretty well

Interesting thing is, there is a girl in Seinfeld who has a weird laugh. Coïncidence?
Oh my God!
"Uh, well, he's he's kind of, just KIND OF, nghh..losing his hair." 😂
“He’s BALD??!?” 😂

@@Jeff_Pryce yea.
“What else….oh yeah, what does she do?”
“First of all - what does he do?”
Always makes me laugh
Yeah, it's a shame the audience didn't catch that, it was pretty funny.
@@MondeSerenaWilliams Their improv ability is underrated. They did a lot of scenes about 20% improv'd, that's where the good stuff comes from. You don't get the same "live action" style from a lot of shows now. I know I sound like a boomer right now, but they really don't make sitcoms the way they used to, its way worse now. They used to let you do what you wanted a lot, now if you go off 1 line from Disney they fire you.
Each shallow in different ways, lol.
It's an afterthought for guys, but it's the main ingredient for women.
So accurate. Generally guys could care less what "she does".
"What about pers-"
"Good personality"
One of the best scenes of the whole show happened in this episode while Jerry and George were discussing Cynthia's look and personality
I’m glad I started watching Seinfeld after it was on the air for a long time probably in its fifth or sixes Season because had I caught it in its infancy I would’ve never continue to watch it Sorry to say but at least the first four seasons or not very entertaining and with that said Seinfield is one of my favorite shows ever
"A big lustrous hair is very important to me" - George Costanza
@@2sense110 I was in my 20s during Seinfeld. My friends and I would gather in my friend's living room every week, smoke one, drink one, and watch the Seinfeld! It was a ritual for years! Glad you discovered this masterpiece! 😁🤟
The funniest part of this is George thinking he has a choice. XD
This shows the differences between men and women, their first question and order of questions is very realistic
This and height also
@@yuvalomrad7090 women just want a guy taller than them and even then some women dont mind being taller lol
Thick lustrous hair is very important to me 😂😂
He’s the opposite of every guy you’ve ever met!
"Has he ever been close (to being married)?"
"He once spent a weekend with a woman"
😅😅😅😂
There's a hue. 🤣🤣
I used to think George was fat and bald. Then I turned 40. He's not that fat and he's not that bald.
Neil, is that you?
@@Ibhenriksen No, i'm a different fat bald dude.
I also used to think he had artistic integrity. Then I realized: he’s not artistic and he has no integrity. 😆 (Season 4 reference)
@@Jeff_Pryce He's a bum!
He’s not in the best physical condition but he’s more or a normal individual of that age without any Fitness routine. If they made his character get into shape that would’ve altered the character heavily.
George walking into Jerry's room and turned 180 degrees back on the blind date, genius! so funny! 🤣
Seinfeld nice Freddy Krueger shirt.🤣🤣🤣
Freddy had a red/green knit sweater.
Where's Waldo shirt. 😀
If Cynthia had met George after the Susan episode, she would most likely have fallen for him. Because by then, George had a job, relationship experience and hair (briefly).
She still would have been too attractive for George. When she dated Chandler on Friends, that was at least a close match-up looks-wise.
And a sad story about commitment and lost love.
@@mobus1603Chandler was hanson when he met Janice. In real life, Matthew had a relationship with Julia Roberts at the time.
Also, he would have been involved in not just one, but two poisonings.
"Is he nuts" "No" haven't seen a lie that cold since the godfather
There’s a hue!!! Hahaha
The way Elaine hugs her arms into herself when she says "he's stocky" :) Actually, it's kind of cute, but Cynthia wasn't going for it!
Cynthia would be better off with Chandler Bing!
Thick, lustrous hair is very important to me. Biff...
🤣😂🤣
Jerry trying to process the level of hypocrisy on the hair making him unable to quip about it is the funniest part.
Most underrated episode of the series.
"NO!!!! NO!!!!! I'M NOT GONNA DO THAT!!!!!! ........................... What does she look like?"
Is she smarter than me🤣🤣
how could she be smarter than youuu 😊
@@lettherebelamp5102 😁
I don't want anyone smarter than me.
They’re both insanely superficial and shallow, they’re practically made for each other.
I dunno about that. She is arguably very good looking in a traditional sense so it kinda makes sense that if she would agree to go on a blind date, she would have some expectations about the guy's appearance whereas bald, chunky, short & unemployed guys usually must have _really good_ game to date - again arguably - beautiful women like her. She's a solid 8+ while George is a 5 on a good day so George was really punching above his weight here.
@@RogerioPereiradaSilva77 giving weight to all that, at all, is what "superficial" and "shallow" mean in this context
@@nthgthI'd disagree. Physical attractiveness is a huge factor for most people in selecting a partner. Makes sense for her to make sure he's a realistic prospect. And averts her hurting someone's feelings if they're not.
@@hannotn you make sense.
All I meant was that physical attraction _is_ a real facet of overall attraction. And we subscribe to physical/ -cosmetic- by being human.
There's nothing wrong with choosing hot people.
@@nthgth It's not superficial/shallow to care about looks and stability. It's superficial to *_only_* care about outward appearances and money, though.

One of the best sitcoms ever.. such a pity they don't make sitcoms like this one anymore!
I guess because half the world would be 'offended' by something or the other and would go on to 'cancel' everyone associated with the show.
Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Different, but in the same spirit. Amazing show.
Nowadays Hollywood would make them cast some nonwhite people instead of talented actors
@@megsie1424 my thoughts exactly. This particular episode would have the cancel culture people so furious they'd have smoke coming out of their ears!!!
Curb your Enthusiasm! It's a show about n.... Larry David!

Janice with a normal voice. This is why people love Seinfeld.
Who is Janice?
Nonono. The Janice voice is her normal voice.
@@shonda79ableShe was Janice in Friends.
Did you notice how George got up from the couch???
It’s criminal that Jason Alexander never won an Emmy for playing George Costanza.
because the jury probably knew that Jason Alexander was like that in real life too.
@@rangorangila1306 😅
He played George Costanza, that's gotta be more rewarding than any trophy.
@@RealBallsofSteelThe $150,000 per episode he made in 1993 had its value too. Or the $600,000 per episode in the later seasons.
I love how Elaine tries to sell George to Cynthia vs how Jerry tries to sell Cynthia to George lmao
It's hysterical how Jerry's demeanor slowly progresses from being enthusiastic about the questions down to complete nausea lol
Oh George George George....some nerve he got to ask and be picky about looks and personality! 😂
Yeah, he should be desperate and just take what he can get lol
When George asked about her cheeks i died!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 Not the pinkish Hue!!!!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
The way she says "He didn't really try and poison his boss" in such disbelief is so funny to me, I love when characters fully point out how insane some of the things the gang does are.
George: i like thick lustrous hair
*scratches his bald head*
She's way too pretty for George. It's crazy for him to be fighting it.
George saying who cares about eyebrows is so funny. If only when listened
3:40 Jerry nearly broke 😂😂
I love Jerry’s denial that he hesitated. That belonged in the hesitation hall of fame.
We all know Jerry wouldn't date her.
Yeah, but the question was whether she was good looking enough for Jerry to want to be seen in public with her. He probably hesitated because the thoughts of her flakiness went through his head.
Elaine is such a terrible liar, and it is just Hilarious to watch! Seinfeld will always rank at the top of my all-time favorite shows. Really miss great writing like this.
1:15 is that the same actress who played Janice in Friends? Looks just like her :o
Yes
This clip is really, very, nice and good.
This should have 1000 likes
Pinkish hue, a rosy glow? Hilarious 😂
Jerry and eliaine playing match maker okay 😅😅 good one
This show came out the day i was born and i feel like its a big reason i love the show so much
Anyone else notice how old that Hotpoint refrigerator is?
the editing on this episode deserves an Emmy an Oscar or whatever. BTW, kudos to Seinfeld for the acting on this scene
And Elaine, of course.
Larry David reused Cynthia for the Social Assassin episode of Curb. LOL…
She's stung around I thought she got HIV hepatitis c or something because she f***** around so much
George should be grateful a woman will even see him
You mean like Newman, who “needs a really pretty face”?
1:57 “Pardon? 😂”
I like a good cheek.
I always thought the actress who played Cynthia would have been a great Elaine if Julia Louis-Dreyfus didn't do it.
She was really strong in the restaurant scene, kinda overshadowing Elaine. She couldn't have pulled off Elaines likability. Couldn't play silly or vulnerable.
@@bossfan49 I always thought in that scene she more than held her own, should have definitely have been a long running character imo
Maggie Wheeler was very good
George should be thankful for any woman.
And somehow I recall an episode where he had a date with Marissa Tomei, and it was going great until George could no longer help be... Well... George. And she walked away from him in disgust.
“No no no, he’s not BALD…he’s balding.”
“So he WILL be bald?”
“Yeah.”
Hes a really really funny guy😂
That description only makes me think of Carl in the movie Fargo. LOL
This is why Seinfeld is a total classic show!
Janice talking normally makes her hella more attractive in my eyes.
Luv'd her in Friends. Drove everyone nuts. 🤣
She was really really beautiful
Gorgeous, really.
She looks really good here
She sounds so good. Friends messed her character up
Yeah they did, Janice was pretty cool in the early seasons
Maggie Wheeler not talking like Janice was rather unsettling
He's kind of losing his hair lol
while George was asking for thick lustrous hair is important to him is epic 😎
Your typical incel these days.
George asks about what she looks like and her body first then asks about her personality. That's good writing for his superficial character. A quality honest man would have asked about her personality first.
Depends on what his relationship goals are
Yeah, r-r-right.. like a quality honest monk, you mean? LOL
Every man asks about looks first. Lol
If the *first* thing somebody says when describing another person, a potential date, is that they have a "good personality" - that's code for, "they're not exactly the greatest looking person."
“HOW could she be smarter than YOU?” 😅
"I'm not going down that road." "What does she look like?"
Seinfeld is a god. jerrys acting here was hysterical "Good personality"

George definitely got the better deal
Really very nice and good.
No one beats George in the art of seduction

That tucked in sweater is a choice
At first I thought this was the one where George hooks up with a bald woman 🤣
Is there a pinkish hue💀💀💀
How could she be smarter than you !! Well played
Really very nice and good 😄
they show the difference between men and woman so good in this episode.
Classic!!
A true, smart and original pastime ( making Elaine push out a complaint )
"She likes to throw up" must be one of the best deliveries in the whole series
can u explain this joke to me?? 😭 idk I just don’t get it
@@jenna444 More than a joke, it's a fact. At the beginning of the episode, Cynthia is having dinner with Elaine, and she says "order me a piece of cake, I'm gonna go throw up".
@@TheFlashpua ohhhh so she’s like bulimic??
@@jenna444 I don't know if to that extent but Jerry implies she's done it several times. Funny thing is that in a later season, George gets upset because he thinks his girlfriend vomits every time right after eating (same episode when we learn Kramer's first name, btw).
