3:40 I've checked this out, most of the ride is done at Qiddiya, It looked way different than Apocalypse in the pictures and video available. I could be wrong, please double check me, but it might just be a big coincidence.
@@thecoasterauthority the one 600 foot drop has a pretty big crest and everything else is so stretched out i know that would not be an issue at all since way whipper rides like i305 manage long trains
I'm not really sure why either. But the massive Intamin hydraulic coasters like Formula Rossa, Kingda Ka, and the original Dragster all have/had short trains. Those are hydraulic launches and this is LSM, but that is the only reason I can really think of.
Having the worlds fastest, longest and tallest roller coaster is surely going to bring a lot of attention to the park, even from non enthusiasts. But to be fair, I don't really know what else there is at Qiddiyah (kinda bad since I'm studying travel and tourism). I know they're planning a Grand Prix Circuit there, but unless other forms of motorsport come that'll only be popular for 1 weekend. They are also planning a water theme park, which is cool I guess, and also a Dragon Ballz theme park, which again, is catered to a niche audience. The thing is though, you can get all of these things with the bonus of a famous city or great holiday destination next to it. I know it's near Riyadh, and no disrespect but the tourism offerings there compared to other cities like Barcelona, London or New York, seem pretty mid. Plus the fears of the safety of women and Gay people is a huge turn off. If I was to sell a holiday to Qiddiyah or Abu Dhabi, which seems to be the main rival since they also have a Formula One track and a theme park with a very fast rollercoaster, it would all depend on how good the waterpark is because Abu Dhabi has a big ace up its sleeve. A beach.
@@potatogirlcultist19 if it was any other country I would agree, but the fact it is in Saudi Arabia is what is throwing most people off from going to it
@@Usastrong1123 it will probably be to be fair. The competition comes from six flags and cedar fair parks in the US, and I reckon this park will top cedar point in terms of theming and atmosphere. The ride lineup looks world class as well so why can’t this be the worlds best amusement park?
It just won’t, I don’t know if you’ve been to cedar point but you can’t top that, you just can’t it’s too good. Two it’s in a shitty place and it dosent seem like the type of park to have good theming, in other words just another crappy six flags park but not a six flags park
@@Usastrong1123 how would you know it’s a shitty place. Also in all the plans and concept art most of the rides are meant to be heavily themed. I don’t think you really know much about this park, but it is meant to have 6 distinct themed lands and it’s going to be huge. They will have an F1 track, water park and it will probably be empty but that might be a good thing if you want to get loads of re rides. It will feel a lot more like a resort than a theme park. That’s why I think it will dethrone CP. no disrespect to cp I think it will have the better lineup but this for sure will be the better park
Ahh yes, the popular coaster, Draygenflier, at Dollywood
How else am I supposed to say it 😭😂
Yes
I’m getting back into coasters after about a year and there is so much to catch up on lol

I've seen photos of a revision, theres a small hill at the top of the mountain launch for some good airtime.
Yes I also saw that. I think that is a nice addition right there.
This is basically Arid Heights in RCT.
They should add a bit more cars to the trains of Falcons Flight
“For your safety, you are required to be a veteran fighter jet pilot to ride Millennium force.”
why are the falcons flight trains so short? seems pointless for how big it is.. also its scheduled to open 2025 i think
I think cuz the whip on the 600 foot drops would be too much for the later rows with more cars on each train

@@thecoasterbros huh? dragster and ka trains are good size
Excellent 👌
It’s just how Intamin designed it. This park isn’t going to be the busiest so I reckon it will be fine

@iliketrains3546
Yeah because people with common sense don’t want to go to some pos 3rd class country for a roller coaster
@@Usastrong1123 the country itself is very developed it just has many laws that are against gays, women and some other classes of people
not flying to Saudi Arabia for 5 rides.
Ik that’s what has me wondering how long it and or falcons flight would be open if it opens
Must go to park
collosus does this one go upside down 10 times
no thorpe park has the better one
This Colossus will not have any inversions but it will still be a very solid roller coaster.
Collosos at thorpe is so rough and shit
Bro colossus is such a cheap record breaker and it’s so uncomfortable
wasn't supposed to open in 2025?
yes but realistically it will open in 2026
I think probably at the end of 2025
Man why does this have to be in Saudi Arabia😭
I suppose that’s what happens when they’re the ones with the money to try something like this 😂😭
There isn’t enough money to build it anywhere else
Oh why just WHY did they choose to build it it in such a crappy place!??!!
Also “one of the worlds greatest amusement parks” 😂😂 yeah right.
