- The Health Insurance State Exam was definitely one of the easiest insurance exams I've ever taken. I like to believe I'm not a test taker. I know if I can do it, you definitely can!

I've been hearing the test is tough, but your video has brought me some relief. I just accepted an offer with a company that pays for my pre-licensing for the health insurance exam. I've worked in customer service for United Healthcare for at least a year. I'm hoping this gives me a one up with knowing some of the material and the timelines, but your video will be my study guide. Thank you for the tips!! Very helpful. I'll probably be booking sometime in the future to use this License to my financial advantage. Fingers crossed i'll pass!!! lol

did you pass? i just passed my exam ON may 5th nd try took my first one may 2nd failed with a 62% passed on the 5th with a 78% i used exam fx studied for 2 weeks hard i highly suggest exam fx if you didn't pass which hopefully you did

@@KennyJTV your advise helped soooo much. The test was exactly as you stated. Just study the main topic information suggested, retest, retest....retest!!!! I passed the NY Health and Accident state exam with an 80%. One and done aka first try. I am now ready for AHIP... any advise?

Any tips you have to? I’m about to start a job that pays for the exam but they only give us a week to study for it. If we don’t pass with a 70% or higher they let us go lol. Big risk so wanna be prepared.
@@nonrut14 you can do it! That is a lot of pressure though. I obtained my license before applying for jobs. Even if you don’t work for them it won’t be hard to find a job once you have your license.

From the research I’ve done, I always thought the P & C was easier, and the L & H was harder
Maybe the 2nd exam you take always feels easier since you have basic insurance knowledge?

Can you pass the state exam just repeating practice exams until you get say 90%?
I would highly recommend understanding the concepts. Memorization isn’t enough for this exam.

It’s overall for the US
The Health Insurance exam is never easy. Trust me if you do not know everything and how to apply LTC, MED, Medical policies and everything about the Offices in your state Like Office of Insurance Regulations, and Office of Financial Services and The Departments of Financial Services you will not pass. I was licensed for 22 years and took it again because I had not renewed my license years ago and it was still hard. Study Study Study.

Great tips! For anyone else seeing this, don’t overthink it! You can afford to get 45 questions wrong. Keep that in mind and don’t get discouraged due to a few rough questions!
Thanks for this, it does depend on the state. In NC the exam is 60 questions, so if you get 45 questions wrong, you’re going to fail 😅
@@KennyJTV haha you’re totally right bro😂🤦. For some reason, I thought state curriculum would be similar. That was an ignorant statement to make. Just came back to tell you that I passed!! I focused on provisions as well as general regulations(advice from other people in my state) and I passed, no anxiety involved. Big thanks to ya my boy.

exam fx is a great one to just passed my exam start work on the 22nd super excited
My wife passed in nc the first try , figured that was the end of the difficult stuff boy were we wrong , trainers havent dedicated time to help ppl get started and basically you have to learn it on your own... we have been in 3 months depleting bank accts, and still only have 0 accts....5 dms either didnt pan out with employees or they cancelled the day of. This is after 1000s of cold calls driving all over , and still dont have access to the sales genie. So apparenntly it seems aflac recruits gets paid for the ppl hired then leave them hanging to fend for themselves.
