It took me 3 times to pass the test. On my 1st attempt I got a 69%, my 2nd attempt I got a 64% & my 3rd attempt I got a 73%. Your video helped me to focus more on the flashcards bro. THANK YOU!!!!
I was able to pass my accident life and health insurance exam the very first time he has some excellent advice and some thing that I would tell you guys just to make sure to take every single practice exam I took all of the ones offered in my pre-licensing course and then I also went on Google and searched other random practice exams. Also do not spend too much time trying to learn definitions most of the questions in the exam are situational so if you spend too much time trying to learn different vocabulary words you won’t spend enough time trying to really understand the situation at hand. Was hired by a large insurance company. The two weeks of online intense training for the licensing - has absolutely done my head in. 3 text books in ten days. If we don’t get a 75% or higher on the exam, we don’t get to continue with the job. To hear you say take 1-2 weeks to study, was reasonable. They’ve given us one weekend. One. Weekend. Uhg.
Don’t forget to study Umbrella. I completely overlooked it the first time and going back to it helped me pass. If you have others in your company that are scheduled to take the test, study in a group. Give yourself scenarios too. What state is this for?

Failed today for the 2nd time . First time was. 47% so i just did all practice exams for the 2nd time . Helps alot . My issue this time was my time management. I marked around 10 questions thinking i can go back but i didn’t realize when i went to the 2nd section i couldn’t . I'm just trying to understand how to study for the concepts because right now we're working through different models not just sometimes I'm trying to understand that and then hes like well don't take notes just download the glossary and take the practice test but I haven't even got that far I just started Monday

I was pretty down on myself cause I felt like I knew the material well but then got tripped up when the questions were worded funny or seemed more difficult than they actually are. So I've been studying with ExamFX for Life Only in Texas. My first attempt in my practice exam I failed at 62%. My second time I got 74%. My 3rd practice exam I got a 90%. My fourth time for a practice exam I got a 82%. I thought to myself I should do pretty well based on those stats and tried the guaranteed exam just now and failed at 69% which breaks down to 95 total questions asked and their passing score being 80%. After watching your video again, it all makes sense now that you simply must understand the concepts and read the questions carefully or else you will keep bombing the real exam. Personally I think I can pass this Saturday evening if I go really hard tomorrow all the way until Saturday afternoon to relax before taking it at night. The real exam score to pass is 70% and there are 100 questions, I think I can pass it for Texas. I'm literally right there!! Wish me luck.
First off I want to say, I don’t think there’s enough content on UA-cam meeting this demand, at all. So thank you, I’ve subscribed. Secondly, I would love maybe some videos just specifically on your flash cards. What information you pick for them. Right now there is an overwhelming amount of information when you pay for these guides and I think it’s really hard for people who have never actively been in the career before too look at all this information and break down what is most important to grasp, we just end up writing down everything. Which doesn’t really do anyone any good.

Hi, I am very happy to say, me and two of my colleagues have passed the exam on the first try!!! I scored pretty high! We used an online program called Xcel! They included some great tools in the app to help you study. Xcel has a breakdown of the number of questions for each insurance category. For example, 40% of the exam is on Statues, Rules and Regulations. This breakdown really allowed me to focus on what I needed to study to pass this test. I also followed your advice to do flash cards. I also took the pre-test over and over again until I got close to 92 to 95%. I always tell young students . ...( I was a teacher) aim for a grade 90% or higher! Yeah studying can be a pain most times, but, there's nothing greater than the feeling of acing your exam and graduating with high honors; that feeling pushed me to be the very best during my college years! Strive for excellence!!
I just found your page and I have to take my 3rd retake and I was trying to memorize info and it did not help me at all and a lot of it did look confusing to me. But what's so crazy I was making 90s on the practice exams lol. Thanks for this video much needed.

I just took the exam this past Monday. This video totally helped. Especially with the flashcard idea. I studied 2weeks and passed it on the first try. But my company allowed us to study full time for those 2 weeks.

Thank you for the tips. I passed yesterday on first try! Yay me. I used A. D. Banker online Course and took their 2 day web class. I studied for 2 weeks and recorded myself saying all the flash card terms and listened to it daily. The only other thing i did to help my understanding of the Types of Life Insurance and Annuities was watch Chris Durham 2 videos on these topics and he does a Phenomenal job at putting this in general terms. Well thank you again.

Nail on the head. I took the 440 and as you said, it's a different mindset or dialect of English that you have to learn. There is no using logic or past experience that will get you through it. And 💯 on the flashcards. It helps so much with the terminology as that is something one must memorize. excellent presentation by the way and whatever company you work for should make you a trainer my good man! 🍻
@@KennyJTV no, thank you. People really need to know what they are getting into. It's not easy and like you said if they try to cram, it will equal burnout. One thing you noted is to have actual lectures. That why one learns applications correctly and has a chance to interact. I did not get this with my company however if I did I would have done a lot better on my test because I squeaked by with a 81%. They basically said read this, pre-test, and go take the test. A q&A plus lecture session would definitely elevate the passing ratio and save companies quite a bit of money. Wouldn't you agree?
I took my 2-40 health insurance exam today for the first time and failed. I am rescheduled for my second try in 2 days and this video definitely helped. Fingers crossed i will pass the second go round. Thanks for this content 😊
Just got a job with a company and I’m using examfm and it’s overwhelming but very interesting. I will get some flash cards and I will put aside 5 hours a day to study💪🏼 I can’t wait to grow and learn.

I'm taking the 20-44 state exam tomorrow. I'm an Underwriter for a Homeowners Insurance company. Taking it so that I can keep working from home. This video is the bomb and very encouraging. I take my test literally in 3 hours. I failed the first time by less than 20 points and went back and studied fir like a month so hopefully it goes well
I skipped a lot of the reading section of my pre licensing program and went into the video review aspect of it, saved me a lot of time and I got all the keyword terminology that was necessary and was able to pass the Chapter exams just off of common sense to be honest. For me reading too much is not how I learn I can watch a video for 5 mins and remember it all instead
It’s true because I took my test 2 times didn’t pass it so I gave up....I was working 2 jobs and half sleeping because I was working overnight it was a mess.....The first time I went into it rushed because of the job I was trying to get and same as the second because they were the ones setting the date.... Here in Missouri the test is 175 questions and cramming all of that information in 6 days on top of 2 jobs was hard... I’m sure if I would have had a clear mind I would have passed it.

I live in Florida , and my adjuster job has me doing a 4 WEEK , self lead training through a&d banker for property and casualty insurance. Then I take the state exam the following Monday. Some days are better than others. I literally had a breakdown this morning , this is how I found your video. lol. I am trying to take notes and retain this information , but it's ALOT. You are very informational and inspiring Kenny. I don't know why I am being drawn towards the Insurance Industry but it appears that I am for some reason. I am really considering taking this situation where I have injured my back doing physical labor and I am getting close to 50 years old. I gotta change my friend. I am terrified right now. but, for the first time in my life I feel that I really need to put some true effort into something new that could have room to grow. I have found a successful business owner that says that he is willing to mentor and groom me for success in a new career. So I am really considering studying for Property and Casualty exams in order to prove my dedication to this guys offer to mentor me. I am glad that I found you as even if DO NOT take this path, you are still helping me to decide what to do.

For example, 40% of the exam is on Statues, Rules and Regulations. This breakdown really allowed me to focus on what I needed to study to pass this test. I also followed your advice to do flash cards. I also took the pre-test over and over again until I got close to 92 to 95%. I always tell young students . ...( I was a teacher) aim for a grade 90% or higher! Yeah studying can be a pain most times, but, there's nothing greater than the feeling of acing your exam and graduating with high honors; that feeling pushed me to be the very best during my college years! Strive for excellence!!

Thank you for the tips. I passed yesterday on first try! Yay me. I used A. D. Banker online Course and took their 2 day web class. I studied for 2 weeks and recorded myself saying all the flash card terms and listened to it daily. The only other thing i did to help my understanding of the Types of Life Insurance and Annuities was watch Chris Durham 2 videos on these topics and he does a Phenomenal job at putting this in general terms.

Nail on the head. I took the 440 and as you said, it's a different mindset or dialect of English that you have to learn. There is no using logic or past experience that will get you through it. And 💯 on the flashcards. It helps so much with the terminology as that is something one must memorize.

@@KennyJTV no, thank you. People really need to know what they are getting into. It's not easy and like you said if they try to cram, it will equal burnout. One thing you noted is to have actual lectures. That why one learns applications correctly and has a chance to interact. I did not get this with my company however if I did I would have done a lot better on my test because I squeaked by with a 81%.
They basically said read this, pre-test, and go take the test.
A q&A plus lecture session would definitely elevate the passing ratio and save companies quite a bit of money. Wouldn't you agree?

I skipped a lot of the reading section of my pre licensing program and went into the video review aspect of it, saved me a lot of time and I got all the keyword terminology that was necessary and was able to pass the Chapter exams just off of common sense to be honest. For me reading too much is not how I learn I can watch a video for 5 mins and remember it all instead

It’s true because I took my test 2 times didn’t pass it so I gave up....I was working 2 jobs and half sleeping because I was working overnight it was a mess.....The first time I went into it rushed because of the job I was trying to get and same as the second because they were the ones setting the date.... Here in Missouri the test is 175 questions and cramming all of that information in 6 days on top of 2 jobs was hard... I’m sure if I would have had a clear mind I would have passed it.

I live in Florida , and my adjuster job has me doing a 4 WEEK , self lead training through a&d banker for property and casualty insurance. Then I take the state exam the following Monday. You are very informational and inspiring Kenny. I don't know why I am being drawn towards the Insurance Industry but it appears that I am for some reason. I am really considering taking this situation where I have injured my back doing physical labor and I am getting close to 50 years old. I gotta change my friend. I am terrified right now. but, for the first time in my life I feel that I really need to put some true effort into something new that could have room to grow. I have found a successful business owner that says that he is willing to mentor and groom me for success in a new career. So I am really considering studying for Property and Casualty exams in order to prove my dedication to this guys offer to mentor me.
