A) for people working in R20 with the new fields system, add a linear field to the falloff section, then add a curve on top of the linear. Then you can modify the curve spline to fit the shape in the tutorial, and add the jiggle in afterwards. B) at 14:00, instead of manually entering each keyframe, go to the timeline window > functions > track after > offset repeat after, and it will automatically plot the key path for you
And if you're noticing that the cloned spheres don't stick to the hair and instead slides around, try putting the hair object above the cloner in the object manager hierarchy. No idea why this works, but it does for me.
i wonder if there is a way to add the amazing ae alpha u made into c4d octane. that way you will have the glows relfecting off surfaces etc. I wonder if it will work? Uvs might be problem?
Hey! Thank you very much from this tutorial!! But I have a question. How do I do work jiggle in C4D R21? The animation doesn't start automatically. Thanks
You need to add a linear field to the falloff section, then add a curve on top of the linear. Then you can modify the curve spline to fit the shape in the tutorial, and add the jiggle in afterwards.
hey, I know this is very late but you can import the bioluminescence in as a file node, as an image sequence, and then plug the file out colour into the emission of an ai standard surface shader
Great tutorial, i only follow the beginning since i don't have octave, but i have a problem. when i set the hair to generate to spline, i can at the spheres to the end (99% offset), but when i run the animation or render a image i don't see the hairs anymore only the spheres at the end so it looks weird. if i use none or circle i see the hairs, but can't set the amount of spheres and put them at the end. is there something i missed?
I LOVE this but I'm currently learning blender could you teach this on that if you know how to use it

I really want to follow tutorials, but they all require octane! I'm trying to learn to make realistic alien scenes if you have any tutorials that do not require octane can you please reply.
wish i could watch this but your microphone gain is so high that i can hear every mouse click and every muscle in the back of your throat moving when you talk. its just too infuriating.

Hey, what do you mean by "add a curve on top of the linear?" Thanks!!
Amazing Tutorial Thanks!
Wow, this was awesome. Love the way you made the radio waves displaced lighting!, very cool, thanks!

You just got a subscriber, the way you explain is excellent mate
so cool!
The Expansive Light Effect brooooooooo! Thanks a lot for this tutorial, hands down!...now I know what I can do with the vector blur :)
I like the way you explained it and the workflow of it great work.

Thanks for your tutorial. I have a problem. Octane only render one frame(Frame range is all frames). What should I do?
Hi, I have a very rare question, How do I make the bioluminescent effect on an ARNOLD material? I have tried everything and there is nothing to do.
maybe you need to add it during the compositing stage?

How do you show the small white lines @3:19 for the normals? TY!

Having the same issue. Anyone know what's going on?
Does anyone have a solution for this????
Thank you! I learned A Lot
great !!
Awesome
nice work
