This is the 4th video in the Home Embroidery Machine Text Series. This video shows how to embroider an advanced horizontal character pattern. The video explains how to use the hoop template, position the hoop by using the touch screen, what controls are used, along with spacing ideas. This is the next step in embroidering text designs using the default machine fonts. View the channel for more videos in the series. I hope you enjoy the video.

Good series with practical useful info. Thank you. I also like that you've broken the info into "segments".

I love this series! Thank you! I would like to see a tutorial on aligning multiple words horizontally that exceed the size of this hoop. I would like to make a sentence on a shirt and it will need to be re-hooped a couple of times to get all the words in.

Received the SE400 last month for mother's day. I sew but am a total novist when it comes to the embroidery world. Your videos are far better than any other ones I have found on instruction for this machine. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these. I am very excited to start using the information I've learned. I do have one question though...... Do you have any videos explaining how I can buy and download other fonts and designs from on line stores and use them on my machine through my computer? Also I have the 4x4 hoop, if I bought for example a font that was 5" can I use that on my machine and if so do I have to buy a larger hoop for that, I believe the largest fonts available on this computer out of the box is approx. 2.5 inches is that correct? Thank you in advance!

How do you center multiple lines so they are each centered? I understand one letter, but not several lines of words?
