I did the same thing but I didn’t wait so long to start again. I started playing piano at 6-7 then at 14-15 my teacher was no longer able to teach me so I basically just stopped playing, thinking it was better because I didn’t enjoy it anyway. Now 4 years later I started to teach myself and it feels so good! I just discovered this man and he is awesome, what an inspiration! He needs more subs!😁
Daniel - Started piano at age 4, I'm 25 now. I'm sorry you found it "uncool". For my experience, I was always the little kid who people stared mesmerized playing the piano at stores. Although I was quite shy and refrained from playing in public, especially as cameras in phones became popular within the years. But I don't regret one second and i'm happy i didn't stop. I'm at a point where I can play any song that I want. And I don't mean to brag, it's an awesome feeling. I hope you restart your practicing and reach this level.

I am also a disabled pianist I have arthrogryposis which causes club hands it's not easy for me but life is always a challenge for me but I love music I hope to play river flows in you eventually it's a difficult song im working myself up to classical music I don't tell myself I can't because then I won't be able to play the song I love your videos it keeps me from getting discouraged💓

I've already survived one heart attack and pneumonia caused by strep. 2 NDE's as a result. Although I have no fear of death I do not wish to go quite yet. But life has begun to overwhelm me and I find myself stressed more now in my 50's than I ever did in my teens and early 20's. Your playing calms me like no one else seems to do. For that alone I am very thankful and eternally grateful. Thank you for being who you are. Thank you for being such an incredible artist who can bring such emotion, your own emotion, into this piece. 2 years ago I heard river flows in you and said it was impossible to play..when I watch this video I saw that nothing is impossible..now I play it perfectly..its the first song I could play completely..So thanks for giving me a motivation❤
Great performance. Sounded awesome. I wish my band class back in grade school did this song. It would have been so much fun to play it during my clarinet phase. Now piano for life.
