Finally there is an amazing recipe that doesn’t require foaming bath butter base from Stephenson or Crafter’s choice which is unavailable in my country 😆 I’ve tried out making most of your recipes and they all work so good 😍 thank you.
This is great info! Thank you! Though I would say, please don’t use glass jars for in the shower products. Found out the hard way they can break too easily and cause quite a dangerous situation.
SCI is great stuff . Oh I added honeyquar to conditioner. Tara. So soft hair. My other half having some inflammation issues in hair. Honeyquat supposed to address it. It did evidently. He uses it daily
Thank you for sharing your receipt I was searching everywhere for a good example of how to mix all of these ingredients. So helpful!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you, a million times thank you! I've been searching for a good recipe but most use a base purchased from someone else. Now, would adding glycerin provide any benefit to this formulation? I'm wanting to try it in something but don't make liquid soaps
@taralee So I made a whipped body butter and it looked good smelled good but rubbed into skin super thick to the point it gave a schoolglue peeling texture…when washing it off it dissolved perfectly….im wondering if I add some Castile soap to it it could turn into a whipped soap…what do u think? I have a ton of it😩
Hi Tara. Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been watching videos on making whipped soap because I wanted to formulate my own. This by far was the most helpful. I’d like to know,When making whipped soap, do I need to check the PH? If so, how do I adjust the ph?
Hi Tara. Thank you so much for your videos, they are so helpful!!! I'd like to ask you for a recipe of foaming whipped soap that contains glycerin. Thank you again.
Hi Tara, I love your videos and I love this recipe. I tried it and its awesome! If I wanted to make it harder or a little stiffer, what would I use? Thank you
Made this and let my mom try it. She loves it. I managed to get my hands on about a tablespoon of it since she won't share....love it, lather is to die for
So does the foam increase as it settles? I just made something similar and its not foaming a lot like yours. Also could I add another foaming agent if I wanted like decyl glucoside?
Thank you so much Lara , I enjoy your videos every time and learned a lot from you , you are my best teacher in UA-cam . I want to turn it to soap sugar scrub , How much % of sugar should I add ?Thanks again
You can use more SCI instead of SLSA. Sodium lactate helps harden the whipped soap. You can try making it without it and it should still work, but if it isn’t hard enough add more stearic acid
Your AMAZING. I have learned soooooooo much from you. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing. you have I spired me to move forward and out action to hair products I have wanted to create and sale for a very very long time as well as formulating other beauty products as well. Your an amazing women and pray you are super successful in all you touch. THANK YOU AGAIN, Perfectly Styled LLC. Tonie
SCI is what I would recommend using. If you use a different powder surfactant you will probably need to adjust the ph. Emulsifying wax might work instead of stearic acid. Never tried it though.
Hi Tara! How are you doing? I know that I’m a year late, I want just a plain base where I can add whatever I want later on. Will it end the same if I leave out the pumpkin? Thank You
Hi Tara! I live this product idea and wonder if I could use your formula to make a pet foaming whipped butter for my grooming business? Would you know anything about pet product formulations or how I might adapt this? Thanks!
Hi Tara! Question, I've tried making this same formula several times but the stearic acid keeps hardening / crystallizing, leaving grainy bits in my final product. How can I prevent this from happening?
Hey, we have to make sure that all the three phases are in same temperature to prevent this, as stearic acid has the capacity to immediately crytalize as soon as it touches a surface which is even slightly lesser than its melted temperature. I also faced this issue and i learnt to overcome this by matching the temperatures. Hope it helps you.
Hi Tara Lee. Love and greetings from Pretoria, South Africa 😘💐🇿🇦 If I want to make just the base, Inwould then leave out the pumpkin pwd and fragrance right? How do I then make up the balance of the 3%? Always love your channel☺️
It may still work with out sodium lactate. It does help harden the bath whip, but give it a try. If your bath whip isn't hard enough then increase the stearic acid.
