Just buy some used tires for about $25 each
A good and sane buy? What is this? Am I on the right UA-cam channel? Oh, he bought a Ferrari as well, OK, I am on the correct one.
Coming back to my first Hoovie video I'd seen, all these years later!
Never change Hoovie, never

Scotty Kilmer: How can I convince my mom to buy me a 2012 Prius as my first car? I'm 18 and I'll get my driving license soon....
Hey Scotty you are the greatest UA-camr ever
Here's another Mexican comment.
Didn't expect to find you here
Carlos, get a job
This car will out live the entire fleet.
Derkgphoto exactly
Excluding the LX470
You forgot the Prius and Land Cruiser as the Lexus ES is not the only Toyota product in the fleet. lol
Just coming back to the first ever video I ever watched on ur channel
That's an easy $1500-$2000 resale
pretty sure he can hit 5k$ with the amount of exposure he got for the car. Trust me there are idiots who'd be willing to pay shitload without doing their research.
sheet i would buy it now $$$ i have never seen a ES300 5 speed
Easily 8,000$ with the 5-speed
I would pay 10k my dream car my favorite car ever
Easily 50k that’s a classic car
Damn right! It’ll go farther than 300 miles. My mom has one in the garage with over 400 hundred original thousand miles and it still runs
@Gerry Buckets preach, no way all the parts are as old as the care itself. It didn't sit there for years
@@ibitebagels3510 sure they are it's a Toyota!
Four hundred hundred thousand huh, so like 40,000,000 miles. It's either a typo or that's amazing!
135k miles??? That thing is a toddler still. Mine has 310k on it and still running strong.
Manuel Martinez i got the 3.1 gm for 700. She got 140000 now. Put two oil changes so far. The first one and this one. No three. One in body. Had 132000 on it. Put in 700 dollars in care. Yes tires too.
It's still essentially A BRAND NEW CAR for fucks sake!!!! He absolutely STOLE THAT CAR!!!! I'd buy it in a heartbeat!!!
hiphopaddict007 Same man lol
Camry 260k still running strong, lexus RX 330 150k still good.
hiphopaddict007 z.
This is one of my favorite video from Hovies
The ending of this video was the best. Thank you for thanking us. That made me feel good.
The poop comes easy and the Lexus comes cheap
Well this is odd. The car started, ran, and doesn't have any warning lights or dire problems. Am I on the right channel?
Jeremy Walker it's cause he's in a Lexus this time
Jeremy Walker haha even hoovie can’t defeat Lexus
It's a 90s Toyota you should know this by now they are immortal 😂
It's a Toyota. Not surprising.
The guy basically gave it to you
Daniel Bargas I highly doubt he was where he said or paid what he said. Only a straight crackhead would do that
He is probably a lot of people’s only friend haha. I don’t know how I stumbled across this shi
Ok he is where he said lol besides the point
Joseph Casey you’re an idiot
You're right I'm a tow truck driver and I get 200 bucks 4 abandoned vehicles without a title regardless if they run or not and 99.99999 percent of the time they don't run that's why they're abandoned because somebody doesn't want to put $1,000 transmission into a $300 car
I love this! So glorious for all the right reasons.
I had the same car years ago and wish I had it now. This is the video I've watched over 15 times and got me hooked on your UA-cam channel. Probably one of his best purchases ever.
"Oh I bought a Ferrari" no one watched till the end :D
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?????????
I watched till the end, I was now checking the comments to See if anyone pointed it out
This is a win if you ask Me... great buy bro... cool video
Alright...
Alright I'm jealous, I got a '94 Sentra for $450. Good job, Sir Cheapington Von Cheapskate. But hey, if nothing else, the only car you own that will probably always run is also the cheapest, go figure right?
I like the subtle footnote, the way you casually said "Oh, and I bought a Ferrari.". I cracked up man, great stuff ,keep it up.
I wish I could have known about Hoovie selling it. I would have greatly enjoyed that car! Not only rare, but one of the best ever made. Retroactive congratulations!
It looks amazing!! I hope you enjoy it.
DAN THE MAN!
It is awesome car.... Are you regretting selling it?
Rohit Verma nope! I have my own Hooptie and I didn’t have room for this one. I’m happy Tyler has it.
Lexus reliability
Lol foreal this thing was supposedly sitting for years & still started right up!😂
Sir Alonne Lexus IS Toyota
you mean lotus right it stands for lots of trouble usaly serious
x d nice ride
MrAwesome7123 Gaming lol you prob nvr owned a lexus
Definitely one of your best buys. You must hang onto this one.
This is easily the most enjoyable video I've ever seen on UA-cam
Please do not change this car. These are a rare example of a time when quality meant something. This was an improvement over the 250. These cars are rare. That care was cared for and loved. I suggest restoring it to factory. I did enjoy seeing it.
“Oh I bought a Ferrari” WHAT?!
HAHAHA “ I know exactly what I’m going to use this for “

Very Nice, 👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾🇳🇬🇺🇸
Ofc it can do 300 miles, its a Lexus!
Is that the same car detailer who your Mercedes ml55 AMG was stolen from
after getting to 29 seconds ,,, hell yes , its a toyota , it will get you home , and back again easily ,,, right off to watch the rest and see if i was right.
Million miles Lexus
Toyata cant stop them
tom thompson
Nick Parker same company different name for different country. Made in Japan by Toyota technicians like every other Lexus/Toyota
tom thompson they are basically the same company just a liitle bit different
Dude, you remind me Jay Leno with your comedic comments. I stumbled upon your channel while researching why my truck misfires. Hahaha. Now I’m hooked and I’m slowly watching all your videos. Keep them coming.
The interior leather looks in great shape. Proof of Lexus quality
Disliked the video because I’m jealous how nice it is.
I want that Lexus.

Hoovie pre covid: I paid 20 grand for a car im gonna have to scrap
Hoovie post covid: I put less then 1k in a car that will last me at least a decade
Can you give it a DOUG SCORE?
For the weekend score, Styling 6, Acceleration 1, Handling 4, fun factor 2, cool factor 3, adds up to 15 which ties with the yugo. For the daily score, Features 3, comfort, 5, quality 8, practicality 7, value 4. total Doug score is 43
Value 4? Don't be ridiculous. 10/10.
Gak! Doug Di Muro the most irritating human on UA-cam!!
Boring but reliable 8/10
lol
This Lexus is a classic 👍
D.T. Baker I agree, this Lexus was my first car as a sophomore in high school, I had the 1994 model brings back so much memories, Lexus is the champion in reliability, very good material, and they hold value.
I love these and I also love the first gen gs300, the gs300 is my dream car
Aviaz X the gs300 is a classic, Lexus has its own platform with pure comfort, and luxury, the LS model is pure awesomeness, these vehicles have better resale value, and they are long term value holder.
"I bought the cheapest manual Lexus in the US"
I don't want to jump the shark with that one yet.
Might want to look around a bit, this could very well be the cheapest running example of the manual lexus es300 out there
Not a lot of manual Lexus out there to begin with. I'm sure some beat up crashed SC has sold for cheap but you can't really compare a clean car to what most people get for $500 - that's Clean Title, original paint, no damage, interior not trashed, drives and has new tires... I think you can claim this a win for sure!
Partly I got interested in Lexus because of this video and after some research I bought my self a GS300 from 2006. Thank you Hoovie! =) Rock on.
Same with me, this video make me buy the same exact car like exactly same with manual transmission and burgundy color for $600. Thanks hoovie and u can see her on my UA-cam
You sir, have found a gem
It's a Lexus, not a GM
David Lister this is in a completely different league, gm in that era was absolute crap
until the LS1 powered catfish showed up

Car hasn't run in years and the first thing he does after starting it is? Revving the cold engine which is probably not even properly lubricated by the old oil which has been sitting in the pan for years... I cringed so hard man. Poor thing...
It loved it got that old oil moving faster lol. He dident check to see if yhere was any in it anyways lol
It's a Lexus, it will be fine.
Thinking the same thing
@Samuel Akoi Saschiko he did
@Samuel Akoi Saschiko he did in the video
My 1996 ES300 went 336,000 miles, totalled by a deer. Totally reliable, ran forever. Bought it at 81000 miles at $6k I think seven years old. did the timing belt twice, put new valve cover gaskets on it, got a leather stitch on wheel cover. Insurance paid me $4800 for the total.$100/yr. depreciation with almost a quarter million miles driven by me. You have a gem here, little fix up and retouch. Best car I'll ever own. There was content with the Camry - but the Evora has a Camry based engine so I guess that's a Camry too. Totally different cars when you drove them.
It’s a Lexus Tyler! Only a Lexus can start up after sitting forever. Try that with a Mercedes lol. Btw I love that color of your Lexus. Don’t give that car away! Keep it forever! Btw, it’s not loaded out, it’s missing the optional chrome rims
DIAMLER LMAO get a w124 these Lexus of the 90s were Japanese copies of Mercedes 300 and 400 e classes lol
My '81 300SD had been sitting over a year when I bought it. Charged the battery, and it fired right up.
Try that with a newer Mercedes, though... yeah, you're probably right.
unless its a old mercedes :)
DIAMLER have you ever see a mercedes in your life?
FarhanAxiq
Same goes with old Lincolns and Cadillacs of the 80's and 70's.
"I bought a Ferrari"
SEVERAL PEOPLE ARE TYPING
give it a Doug score
Honestly my favorite car he’s bought
Next video: I bought the cheapest Ferrari in the US and I'm going to LS swap it
Flames2Live you got the Ferrari part right
Your detailer did a PHENOMENAL job on the outside of the Lexus! It looks like it’s been garage kept the whole time!
Of course it would make it home .
ITS A DAM TOYOTA!!!
?? I think you didnt even joke you just dont know that its a LEXUS!??
oliver toyota owns lexus lol
@@julianholm7531 oh man i knew it i wasnt sure
@@oliver-ty3im Little Automotive branding info for you. Toyota owns Lexus, Honda owns Acura, Hyundai own Kia, GM owns chevy, cadilac, buick, gmc. Volkswagen owns Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche. And the list goes forever, some companies like say germans have their own designers for engines and such, but like the w12 volkswagen motor, you find it in modern bentleys and such.

I have done the same thing a few times. I actually bought a 1974 Firebird Formula from a tow company in San Diego Ca some years back on Ebay. Said it ran ok. So I flew out to SD from Boston Ma to check it out, while I was there I saw a 1971 Buick Skylark for sale in the San Diego new paper classifieds. So I drove my rental car to check that out. I ended up buying the Firebird, having it shipped back and I drove the Buick back 2400 miles. That was a very cool trip. I also thew cares to the wind once and bought a 1982 Toyota Supra from a dealer in Pennsylvania , took a bus from Manchester NH to Philly and drove that back as well. This is something all car buffs should bucket list.
I love how casually you say that little gem at the end
You basically got it for free, this thing is at least worth
1k.
I'd pay 200 in a heartbeat for that
That would go for 3-4 grand easy where I live

Crazy. These cars are bullet proof. Well bought. I'd give you a grand for it right now!
I began to watch this video in 2018 when it came out, but didn't finish it and stopped it half way through to come back to it today and finish it.
This guy finds all the decent cars for $5, but then here I am, car-less, trying to find my first car desperately, but everyone here in Kansas City wants $2,000 for their rusted out, 350,000 mile, non-running Chevy cavaliers 🙃
Also, a FERRARI??
So buy a $2,000 Lexus instead.
I mean if I had $2,000 I would, also, there’s very slim pickings in my area at the moment... nothing I can afford.
Checkout listings down south way cheaper
PA used to have nice cars for cheap 5 years ago, now the only cars left are clapped out traps or unreliable models.
Wow! She cleaned up well!
Yup, I'm surprised the bird shit didn't do any damage to the paint. Must not have been on there long.
It was very dirty to begin with. I'm sure a lot of the other grime made a protective film over the paint.
Supa Doopa that’s from sitting for 2 weeks. It was not quite as bad when I dropped it off.
Dan Mosqueda you're the guy that sold this?
sarina xoxoxo yep
this whole channel is like the old top gear cheap car challenges, which were the best segments on the show
You always find best of the deals. A lot of people want a car exactly like that. Simple, clean, low maintenance. That takes people from point a to point b, without much of a fuss.
