A good quote? Nah, fam. That's some rehashed platitude. And it leaves aside the fact that some villains have an epiphany and come to the side of Light. Not to forget that some of the people going against Kal El here were indeed heroes from the beginning, not even reformed villains.
“Casualties of War” is one of the worst excuses you could ever give for straight up liquifying a child’s brain for simply speaking against you, when he was not trying to start a fight or even defend himself, he was just trying to turn back into a child to show Superman what he was about to do. And I can’t remember if it was the terrible movie adaptation or the comics that Superman deflected the arrow from Ollie into his own dad on accident, but even if he didn’t in the comics, why didn’t he just catch the arrow? The man who moves faster than sound couldn’t see an arrow coming at him and his parents standing awfully close by? Tell them to go to ANOTHER ROOM, it’s a FORTRESS! Both of those deaths are entirely on Clark.
What gets me upset about Shazam's death is he only spoke. He didn't even attack Superman and got killed. Like I'd feel sad but less upset if they actually fought, but Billy wasn't even given a chance
This superman version isn't bringing any justice. He bring only fear and destruction. And its horrible how many of the justice league follow him even after he killed a kid. And he killed him only because he brought lois in their conversation. So imagine if any of the other justice league members starts to do the same? He would kill all of them only by anger. He wasn't a hero but a monster at the moment he started killing.
That scene with Billy hits me every time. And the realization from Flash gets me deep. In the first game, I was mad that Flash had joined Superman. Because the Flash is one of the nicest Heroes in all the Justice league. He’s one of the only heroes to actually care about his villains. But his redemption was really good and I can’t help but want to cry every time.
Man, the break in Flash's voice as he says "Killing children is NEVER OKAY!" For the longest time I had no idea this was Taliesin Jaffe and I'm incredibly impressed.

When batman uses kryptonite to beat him, it's fair, you hail Batman for being smart but when superman acts smart to win suddenly he isn't fair 😂😂😂. I feel bad for Shazam, Billy Batson didn't deserve it, he's just a kid that he knew that Kal El has gone too far by destroying all the from different dimensions
At this point Superman should have been killed too. Giving the excuse that killing a child and their friend was a casualty of war when it was really his own anguish and ruthelessness that killed them both is something that can not be forgiven.

Alot of people really hated superman for murdering Shazam and rightly so needless I guess we will change Kent's name to homlander now
Homelander is basically a Superman's parody but I start thinking they're not so different
@nicolemaestroni2678 The Injustice version is pretty similar yeah
@@nicolemaestroni2678 How are you sure Injustice didn't inspired the amazon adaptation of the boys?
good quote = "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain"
a wise man said
A good quote? Nah, fam. That's some rehashed platitude.
And it leaves aside the fact that some villains have an epiphany and come to the side of Light.
Not to forget that some of the people going against Kal El here were indeed heroes from the beginning, not even reformed villains.
I'll never get how he can gaslight himself so hard into thinking that was justice of any kind.
“We’re not gods,we don’t decide who gets to live or not!” -good superman
Shazam sees superman as his idol, thats why he don't fight back even though his strength is on par with supes
Supermans strength is way beyond Shazam’s
What gets me upset about Shazam's death is he only spoke. He didn't even attack Superman and got killed. Like I'd feel sad but less upset if they actually fought, but Billy wasn't even given a chance
I actually forgot how SCREWED UP the injustice Superman truly was
"But Shazam!"
A Superman-level entity.
Naw this Superman was just straight up ruthless
This was just straight up lazy writing. Shazam and Superman are evenly matched.
The scary part is the fact that Superman did it so casually
This superman version isn't bringing any justice. He bring only fear and destruction. And its horrible how many of the justice league follow him even after he killed a kid. And he killed him only because he brought lois in their conversation. So imagine if any of the other justice league members starts to do the same? He would kill all of them only by anger. He wasn't a hero but a monster at the moment he started killing.
Black Adam sounding like a generic villain
He went straight up Homelander on Billy.
"Shazam and Green Arrow were criminals?"
"Casualties of war"🥶🥶🥶
I think Superman knew that SHAZAM is the only boy can defeat him with power from true gods.
"I don't hurt children."
"Didn't stop you with Shazam."
Cold and sad af...
Superman-i dont hurt children
Shazam/billy- bro you killed me
Man, the break in Flash's voice as he says "Killing children is NEVER OKAY!"
For the longest time I had no idea this was Taliesin Jaffe and I'm incredibly impressed.
That is why a hero needs is personal life seprated if super man never reveal his identity to other super heroes and didn't follow the no killing rule on villans then he will become a super man what we called if you have the power to eliminate the threat you must act i also include bat man to this he was also guilty for following this rule they should learn from optimus prime the true hero a master peice a good transformer who remain in my heart as a great hero not like them
Black Adam sounds like Caraprax from the Blue Beetle movie when he said: *”He was sacrificed for the greater good”*
He couldn't fight him fair cause he knew it will be risky so he did that😂
Did what?
When batman uses kryptonite to beat him, it's fair, you hail Batman for being smart but when superman acts smart to win suddenly he isn't fair 😂😂😂. Even if you don't like Superman, this just goes to show that if the writing isn't shitty most of the villains that get the better of him wouldn't stand a chance.
@@bestboss5Exactly! Superman haters are 🤡🤡
@@bestboss5the writers literally WANTED Superman to kill Shazam due to him being the og nothing else
@ineedpowers5151 you're so weird.
I can’t even imagine how pissed off Main Superman would get if he ever met Injustice Superman.
Phoenix (My OC): You agreed with Superman murdering Shazam?
Cyborg: Casualty of War
Phoenix: So you have chosen death! (Two eyes become four before the battle begins)
Oh I'd love to see Spawn deal with Injustice Superman
Spawn: what you did sickens me to the core
Superman: how can you compare us
Spawn: I've never killed children/You're no better than Billy Kincaid
Shazam is my favorite dc superhero when i played through the injustice campaign and saw that i was devastated specially with that awesome design
(injustice 2) Blue Beetle: is there any line you won’t cross? Superman: i don’t kill kids. Blue Beetle: two words…Billy Batson..
Thats a memorized line regardless of 2 years ago, man that was a dark game in the original.
The video is amazing, the voice is CLEAR and slow which makes it so rhetorical viewer more HOOK. The only thing missing is making subtitles, but hand down the best RE entire franchise explained vid
Am I crazy or does regime cyborg give off ultron vibes?
I guess I can see that, yeah
It’s even sadder when you learn that all through your the comics, Billy idolized Superman. Superman is Shazam’s hero. He was killed by the person he admired the most.
Shazam should canonically beat superman imo
No
Superman always whopped him, so no
@@Mayan_88694 Don't care if writers decide that their favorite boyscout can win, Shazam's power set is able to defeat superman
@@OffensiveGen you cared enough to comment, Superman has beaten Shazam most of the times they fought
@@Mayan_88694 what? Read my comment again and try again
“You once brought hope”
Was really such an impactful sentence due to the symbol on his chest his family crest means Hope but now in his universe that symbol is feared
Superman had a few solid points but doesn't mean he didn't turn into a mad man. He literally pulled a joker move right there by killing Shazam like that. My biggest takeaway from this story was Joker won. If batman were to successfully kill Superman somehow, Joker wins again. Love Injustice.
Reminder in the comics Shazam was in his mortal form when he was killed… Netherrealm had him in his hero form for his in game Murder scene since SUPERMAN WAS MURDERING A FUCKING KID
Shazam shouldn’t have died so easily, he’s one of the most powerful characters in DC history it would have been see him fight Superman. Shazam must have extremely nerfed.
Nah Superman just didn’t hold back in this case, he wanted to kill Shazam so he did what was best and most effective, Shazam would get ripped into shreds if this was a bloodlusted superman
@@epsyfnNo, this was just lazy writing. Even if Superman went all out it would've still been a struggle against Shazam. Superman is one of the most powerful DC characters but so is Shazam. They moved the goalpost for Superman in this scene. Lazy writing.
It was lazy writing
The worst part is that the beam was on a lower output. He could have made it instant, but he chose to slowly kill Shazam.
Of all the comic book legal injustices, I hate Captain Marvel being renamed Shazam the most.
If you don't know Shazam is Billy Batson a Ten year old child i think, He was confronting superman until Superman grabbed his neck and Burned and destroyed his eyes and freezing his mouth so he doesn't say Shazam, Because if he will show his true form aka his Child form But superman didn't care
Billy was 12 when he became Shazam, then 15 when meropolis was destroyed, Meaning he was 20 when Superman killed him. Whoever wrote the dialogue forgot about the five year time skip like Daenerys forgot about the Iron Fleet. Hmm, did D&D work on this?
Dr fates one wasnt about shazam, he was literally talking about justice
“Justice is BLIND….not HEARTLESS.” 😢
Superman has a little Homelander in him
Homelander has a lot of superman in him
@@accurategamer7085 No he doesnt.Homelander is a Moralless monster who has no humanity. Also only injustice superman has a little homelander in him normal superman is the best
@@ahkafkhan4512ok
He is but more deadly than Homelander.
I still remember the first time I saw Shazam's death. It was so petty and cold. It was a mere display of power at the minor inconvenience of someone disagreeing with Supes.
And I'm glad that it's wasn't just him being iced, it had an impact beyond shock value.
I don’t think many people realise just how evil Superman actually is
Not only is he a child killer but he’s also a mass genocide mongerer on a scale that not many other video game villains have managed to measure up to
Injustice Superman is fucked for sure
@@vick7868 nah he fine
Injustice Superman only makes Shao Khan/General Shao and Shang Tsung look like accidental heroes.
Shazam: *brings up Lois*
Superman: ah, casualty of war 😀
