Yes!!! A love song that rocks! My understanding it is about Pollard’s students’ gossiping about his relationship with another faculty member. The same kind of gossip that went around amongst the students themselves. Bob was a middle school English teacher for a while if I recall correctly. Someone should look up some of the kids he taught and give their opinions about him as a teacher. I’ll bet he rocked!!!
@@andyprice I should have clarified that I knew that...I was just trying to be clever. Thanks for making that distinction...Guided By Verde sounds cool/cheeky
Just the worst version of gbv. No sprout, mitch, kev. Real gbv fans knew it was over and the best we'd get was reunion crap when they just played old songs.
this song was a holdover from the sprout version of the band. it was played during the last show of the original classic lineup run. anyways i prefer the classic albums but the gillard era had its fair share of classics in my estimation
Oh cheer the heck up. There are clearly 414 people who aren't real GBV fans as you put it. The most recent album is great by the way and every post reunion album has some great stuff on it. Saddo

A year late (and you probably already definitely knew this I apologize), but I believe he said "to one of the greatest bands that ever lived"
they so kick ass on another level.
Thanks Dallon
Fantastic - never thought I'd ever get to see this gem!
Cameraman missed Bob's jump and kick. Way to go.
If only you were filming it would have been perfect

I'm a school teacher. And the kids imagine and gossiping all kind of romantic scenarios with faculty members.
He taught 4th grade here in Dayton. Bob is our hometown hero (and WSU no-hitter pitcher).
It's my hometown hero and example because I want to be artist

I can see this song on such a soundtrack, which really isn’t a knock on the song.Pollard’s songs are just so damn tuneful.
Guided by Verde!
A song that was inspired by Bob's students
Cobra Verde was the lineup prior to this.
