Put the wood on top of the slides that gives you the entire surface area to hold weight. Small bolts, nuts, and washers then pull the slide versus the wood and load hanging only from the surface area provided by the screws.
What exactly are these slides called and where can I find them? We need that same type that attaches to the floor of a cabinet and that you can also install a “deck” to set your boxes, etc on. Can’t find anything quite like that.
I don’t sorry. These brackets came from and old entertainment center. They’re from a DVD drawer, so I’m sure googling that will come up with something similar.
