The awards are awesome! Very nice event! Demos are a lot of pressure. I've done a few myself. You were doing some seldom seen, awesome stuff dude. Don't beat yourself up. Debrief, learn from it, and make some adjustments on the next one. You'll knock it outta the park I'm sure.
Despite the noon time demo, your flying looked great especially considering you’re recovering from COVID and had little to no practice ahead of time. Always a pleasure to watch you fly! Hope you continue to recover and get back to good health Jon. Check your PayPal, hopefully that will help get those parts ordered 👍
That's a huge help, thank you so much Jay! We'll get the Raptor rebuilt. We already have new stabilators for the Hornet and new nose gear doors coming in tomorrow. It needs a good bit of glue to fly again because the snoot started coming apart where the LERX meet the fuselage, but it looks like an easy repair. We'll fly that bird until it comes apart, then get a new ARF.
Hi Jonn I enjoy all of your videos and I have to say except this one I can't believe you took the chance in front of children to show off and wreck two beautiful planes I guess like all of us sometimes Fame gets the best of us I'll keep watching your video because I like your content keep up the good work and we all mess up sometimes
I was asked to fly the demo routine - that includes showing off. Everyone in the crowd accepts the risk of being near model aircraft. The F-22 performing that inverted high alpha would leave a bruise at best - it's flying very slow and not carrying a lot of inertia.
Still great flying Jon and Tony, you guys did something amazing for those kids this past weekend so hurt egos aside, amazing job! Really enjoyed the video guys, keep up the awesome work, and hopefully next year I can come up for the event. Wife and I had plans in Charleston this past weekend for her Bday. Just a side note, my flying has been horrible for the last week or so, I almost took out some cars this evening with my F18, maybe tis the season for wrecked planes and hurt egos LOL.
Hey Jon Looks a great show is there a link for this show? Would love to attend next years event. I never heard of it nor it being mentioned on any of your previous vids.
these flats spins blow my mind too... does it have crazy rudder authority or else how can it flat spin so well?? and also did you mix the flaps with the ailerons for full span ailerons?
My Eflight F18 is a ground loving sob .WE have 600 Ft. run ways and it has only got off the ground about 25% of the time .I'm thinking of up grading to 90mm fan and motor ..I fly off from grass cut at one inch.
Who was the heli pilot? If you want to see some real heli shenanigans - visit RCHO in Knightsdale. The people are great but the club slogan is where helis come to die. Also the is a big heli event in Thornburg Virginia September 29 - October 2nd.
It's just foam. We'll rebuild. When the F-22's fuselage comes back in stock, we'll get an order placed for all of the components and the Mobius 1 F-22 will fly.
I won the Pole Dancer award after my Ultrix 600 hit the flag and had the oversized 2200 maH battery ripped out of the bottom of it (which does _not_ have a removal panel 😂). I managed to hit the pole a second time after receiving the trophy. The second time was a dead-on hit with the nose of the plane. Surprisingly, it was still in one piece afterwards!
@@TwoBrosRC there’s on in may and my local club always goes up there for a few days together. i recently got into the hobby so this will be my first convention type thing

Well, we've got another year to prepare. We'll get it right next time. Thanks Adam!
Great flying, Jon, and well produced video, 2bros! All five of my planes made a cameo in this vid! :-)
Good to see you out there Joe!
Jon you greased that 737 Landing 🛬 I aspire to be half the RC pilot you are….! And I think the gyro saved your F18 Blue Angels
F22 flat spin was simply awesome !!
WOW, what a novel idea. An RC club that offers to teach new pilots how to fly. Wish my RC Club had such a genuine service!!!
Mine does but it's not the level that that club is but my local club they were great they want you to fly for a month w an instructor if new to hobby
Nice flying!👍🏻 Great save with the Super Hornet. Didn’t appear too bad.
It's not as bad as we'd originally thought. Looks like it'll be flying again by week's end.
@@TwoBrosRC 👍🏻
That was a great video, and cool event!
Thanks man! Good to hear from you!

Good to hear! Looking forward to seeing both jets in the air again.
7:15 it’s a Polaris, by Steve Shumate. Free plans available for download.
Sweet!!! I am going to have to get out there next year, I am only about 45 miles from there.
Excellent video! Thank you!
That 737 was so coooool, I loved people reaction, wooooow wooooooooohohooowww 😂❤ nice job brah!
Thanks Arthur!

Hey guys, loved the video.
Do you think you could check out the e-flite f-14? I am super curious as to it’s performance?
It's not offered yet and it's unclear if it will ever ship.
Can't wait!!!

From Russia with love - nice event, cool model's, best pilotage. 👍
Hey Jon Looks a great show is there a link for this show? Would love to attend next years event. I never heard of it nor it being mentioned on any of your previous vids.
We mentioned it in a community post the other day. It's held annually in early September at Sugg Farm in Holly Springs, NC.
these flats spins blow my mind too... does it have crazy rudder authority or else how can it flat spin so well?? and also did you mix the flaps with the ailerons for full span ailerons?
It's just 150% rates with full deflections on all surfaces. And yes, we're using full span ailerons.

Upgrading to 90mm won't fix anything with that jet - it's not designed for flying off grass. It'll require a ton of work to make it do that.
This was very entertaining! Thank you
Great video and Fling 👍👍👍

No idea who the pilot was - I tried to avoid talking to people as much as possible to save my voice. That and I was non-stop coughing most of the day.
@@TwoBrosRC - Ouch, I have a long history of pneumonia so I know the pain.
His first name is Daniel. that should narrow it down for you. :-)
Awesome flying still by a sick man.
Hey we don't crash em when not flying em...
👍👍

Was that a turbine giggle I heard☺️
Great editing Jon and even tho you had some mishaps, just means you were flying to a cheering crowd 👏
Tony gets a kick out of turbines. It's been a long time since either of us have seen one fly.
A month ago I went to a local jet jam and was blown away watching a carf Rebel Max Turbine take off.it was the most awesome thing ever!
Cool ima try to make some of those trips in my near future God willing

Nice work! I almost went for it with the Timber.
I can't believe 'rc pilot will' wasn't there with his Rafale
He cancelled same day. Wasn't feeling good enough to go.
hey do you fellas normally go to joe nall? i’ve never been and was wondering how it is
Nope, never been.
