💰Have you tried eBates? I just started and my first big fat check was $14.40 and I could not be happier about it. I'm building my next big fat check - so far it's $28.34. It's super easy and I am pleasantly surprised by how many of the places I shop are affiliated with eBates. Amazon? Walmart? Tractor Supply? Kohls? They're all there waiting to give me (and you) a couple dollars back on our orders. To begin saving click this link. www.ebates.com... You will immediately get an extra $10 added to your first big fat check.

Hi friends! I'm Jennifer, a forty-something wife and mother of 7 children ages 7 - 23. We are Catholic. We homeschool. We cook from scratch. We farm cranberries. We drink coffee. We advocate for Down syndrome awareness. We are loud. We are chaotic.
Here I'll share vlogs about all these things, what I'm doing that works and what I've tried but didn't work. I hope to encourage you in your journey through motherhood, homeschooling, learning to cook, and growing in your faith through it all.

We have done the same thing with our 3 kids, so they already have a little bit of a start.. I like your rule of 1st semester they pay, 2nd semester you pay.

What a gift! My husband and I came from households that did not ever teach about money management. In his upbringing, he was never given money....ever. So as an adult he is definitely a spender. I saw mismanagement of money. It took 20 years for us to figure it out and then we got pushed to a very limited fixed income sue to health reasons. So we have to hope our kids stay "poor" enough to get grants.

The best part of your story is that you figured it out. Finances are hard. My best suggestion for college is to choose wisely. There are many ways to get a college education on a budget.

My daughter went to school with students who had 250,000 in debt after college. It was tragic!

Oof-dah! That requires a big shovel to dig out of.

I know this video is a few years old now but I let UA-cam auto play after watching your newest video and this is the one that came up next. We got one of those whale bathtub fountain toys as a gift recently and I thought you'd find it interesting that they changed the design of the battery cover! It's rechargeable now and the cover is hinged on one end so you only have to fiddle with one of the screws.

That was a wise choice for the company to change it up. Thanks for watching the oldies.

I realize this vid is a year old, but I'm just now watching it. Your videos are very encouraging for mothers/families. I remember when I could always find shoes for the kids at Kohl's for a great price.

Have you ever done pickled watermelon rind? My grandmother used to make it and I loved to eat it with roast.

I've never made it. I had it once - it was pickled and flavored like cherry....kind of weird.

@@acountrylife Her pickled watermelon was closer to a bread and butter pickle.
