- Today, I wanted to show how just Amsterdam titanium white and water could be used to swipe! Very pretty results,cells, and lacing.
My colors are: Amsterdam titanium white, Cyan Blue,Permanent Blue Violet.
Artist's Loft Neon Violet.
Golden's Iridescent Gold Fine, Teal.
Winsor Newton Permanent Magenta.
All of my colors are mixed: 1 part paint to 2 parts Floetrol.
Cell activator is Amsterdam titanium white and water.

Hi, no, there's nothing in the house paint.
I use P.P.G MULTI-PRO in eggshell or satin finish,not satin enamels. I hope this helps 🙂 🙏

I work with several different mediums, but I've not mastered swiping and also have trouble knowing what colors compliment each other. I'm definitely trying this technique to add water. This painting is stunning, and I have a friend who would love these colors, so I'm going to try and create my own... 😁

No Aus or US Floetrol in the UK! Only Owatrol which is very thick! Still trialing how much to thin it down!
Hi, yeah, keep on experimenting. The consistency I prefer is about a 3-second trace for my colors. I lift my stir stick about 3 inches from the top of my paint and count 1001,1002,1003, then it disappears.The consistency of my Amsterdam Titanium White and water is a one second trace. Thank you, I use American Floetrol for my colors. I used Amsterdam Titanium White (about 1 part paint to 1part water maybe a little bit more water) I hope this helps,have fun!

@@orange222... Amsterdam is the company name that makes the paint. In the U.S. you can get it at Michaels and I'm sure other stores.

Thank you, I love having my fur babies with me when I paint. You could use acrylic paint as a pillow, I like the house paint,and it costs less,it's about $16 a gallon at Home Depot. I hope this helps 🙂 ❤️❤️❤️

Are you letting gravity weight the swipe tool, or pressing down? It looks like pressure. How many times have you do this type of swipe?

Is it Australian floetrol that makes the colored cells? Im using American floetrol i get white cells no colored.
Hi Mary, I used American Floetrol for my colors. I used Amsterdam Titanium White and only water as a cell activator, about 1 part paint to 1 part water. I hope this helps.❤️

Hi 👋 Thank you. No, I don't wash my aprons,I have 6 or 7 that I trade off. I enjoy using Australian Floetrol. I also enjoy using just Amsterdam paint and water.

You said you use PPG multi pro satin house paint from Home Depot at $15 a gallon ? Is that interior or exterior. I only find PPG speed hide exterior and it’s $33 a gallon in 5 gallon bucket. Could you tell me what you used. Nice work.
Hi, yes, I got my paint at Home Depot.
P.P.G MULTI-PRO interior paint in either satin or eggshell, about $16 a gallon I use it straight from the can no additives. I hope this helps ❤️

Hi,yes, I have tried the oxide black, and yes, it works. You actually get more cells than lacing, but I think they are beautiful.

Hi 👋 I don't use silicone ever! The paint you see me swipe with is Amsterdam Titanium White and water. The colored paint is mixed with American Floetrol. Please go back and watch the video, I explain everything. ❤️❤️❤️
