The best reason to buy a box is experience the blend among itself. You get more flavors out of the box than you do the single. Your palette adjusts, and your heightened senses experience all the nuance and flavor.

I’ve always been a fan of buying boxes. I HATE buying singles. I don’t know why. But I know I don’t like buying samplers because I try one and say “oh I like that.” Then forget what it is and never get it again… so instead, I buy a box of what I know I like and just stick with that.
Not here in the EU. If you buy a one cigar that costs 15 bucks, the entire box with 10 cigars will cost you 150 bucks.
Sometimes you get 3% to 5% discount if you buy a big box like 25 cigars.
I always buy 3 or 4 boxes, when i visit Cuba. It is also lot cheaper, like 40% or more.
Box of Macanudo cigars, delivered to my cabin in Colorado as the nearest cigar shop is over 1.5 hours away.
Personally, as a new cigar enthusiast I buy smaller amounts of cigars .There are so many different cigars out there to try. I am still learning and like trying different sticks.
I bought a box of Perdomo 10th anniversary Champagne epicures. Love ‘em.
Def bought a few Flor de Las Antilles, my number one, must have is Montecristo (core) and Graycliff 30 year vintage. I buy a lot of Hoyo de Monterrey Maduro sabrosos for kicking around and Arturo Fuentes 8-5-8 sungrown rosado.
The nice thing about buying boxes is when I get down to half a box I start being more disciplined about reaching into the box again. This allows for most of the cigars in my humidor to have 2 or 3 years extra age. If a cigar really blows my skirt up I will order another box when I get down to 5 or so like the Montecristos. Some are rarer or seasonal like the Fuente sungrown rosados and I just keep my eyes open and grab one when I can. It's worth chasing small batch sticks (sometimes) especially if it's your jam.

You can find boxes at a good price point that would allow them to be a daily stick. It's all in what you look for.
Montecristo white, bought a box best decision I ever made. They were smooth and creamy, and sweat, I loved them
Bought two boxes of Tatiana dolce vanillas because they are really good. Also it’s cheaper to buy by the box instead of individually in store. Curious to see you guys thoughts on the stick.
I repurposed several Foundation boxes for trays in a converted wine cooler.
And I’m about to repurpose a small Macanudo box into a microphone AB switch for on stage.

Wow, very insightful. I never though about the aspects of buying a box of cigars being boiled down to, its a box, full of many of the same cigars.
Room 101 12th anniversary was my first box. Probably getting a Deadwood Sweet Jane box soon.
Unless you are rich buy a box you really love for daily smoke. 200$ an under.then buy multiple cigars in pairs. Get like 8-10 sticks but two of each. That way you have one to smoke an one for later if you like it. Only way to really try everything even things you might have thought you wouldn’t enjoy but do.

I buy boxes of cigars that I have tried at least 3 times or that I really love. Like LFD Cabinet No 5 Maduro, Macanudo Jamao, Rocky Patel 60's, and LFD LaNox.
First box I ever bought was Island Jim #2. Since then I’ve bought the EP Carrillo Pledge, Oscar Superfly Maduro, Olivia Serie V, Adventura Secret Sociadad, Undercrown Maduro, Undercrown Shade, Alec Bradley Corinthian Leather, Warped La Hacienda, Amazon Basin Extra Anejo, and my first multi box purchase was Saturday; Aladino Candela.

I bought a box of ep carillo encore, and a box of Amazon basin extra anejo, because both of these cigars are in my opinion examples of the best and they wow me.

Currently living in Mexico, so I have access to Habanos Cuban cigars. Sealed boxes are the best way to go for authenticity but it’s still a good idea to buy from a La Casa del Habano or authorized retailer. Cuban cigars age very well in their original dress box or even better are the cabinets of 50.

He loved him some Macanudo.
My parents bought their house from my great-grandparents. There were cigar boxes everywhere and they held everything from nuts and bolts to canning supplies. Not sure if they smoked them or not, I never met Fred and Grandma I don't recall her drinking anything stronger than water.
Just tried to buy a box of Charter Oak today at my B&M they said they didn't have whole one in stock. Gotta find somewhere to order from now since I won't have time to go to them soon when working 12 hours a day 7 days a week.

I bought a box of Padron 1964 anniversary Lancero/Panatela can’t find that size in any local store so I just bought the box
I find the best deals will be by packs of 10 without the boxes. And if you invest time into buying cigars, you can get crazy deals like 20 Rocky Patel Sixty Toro for $99 versus $450 for the box. You just need to research and buy the deals, but that also means you need to keep inventory at home. 200 plus cigars in your humidor is a minimum to have on hand. This way, you're never in a rush to by, so in return, you can hold off for the deals. I know it sounds like a lot on sticks to some people, but that's what it takes to get amazing deals. Plus, it allows you to rest your new cigars for the best flavor and burn experience. Again, only my opinion, enjoy your smokes. Cheers
I’m waiting until I find cigars I like. The first and only box that I’ve bought is the CAO Pilon Anejo. I loved that stick. I usually buy 2-3 to try. If I like it I take the band and save it to remind myself of what I like.

I just picked up a box of the tabernacle by foundation cigars from Casa de Montecristo in Paramus NJ . They had a foundation event featuring special guest Nate Williams , the sales director of foundation cigars .A great guy hooked me up with a free cutter & hat + a couple of The wiseman cigars to try . They also had a raffle for a free ash tray & foundation sign . I was very lucky I won the raffle as well
My last box was about a month ago.

Bought my first box ever last year: Perla Del Mar Corojo, it’s a brand from l jc Newman , beautiful classic looking box but most importantly the cigar is loaded with flavor even considering I got a sort of smaller size. You guys got to try them! Hoping to see you review them on here

Forgot to mention this too- don’t know if it’s a fluke but the box I ended up getting actually seals really well. I decided to throw a boveda in there and it’s been keeping the moisture in better than my actual desktop humidor
I have been smoking cigars for 25 years and I have only bought 1 box. It was La Perla Habana maduros and it was a really good deal. For me the main reason for not buying boxes is your #4 reason in that I do not have a large humidor to place multiple boxes in. If I were to purchase a large electronically controlled humidor I would definitely buy a box of My Father Flor de Las Antilles, CAO Brazilia, and a couple of AJ Fernandez New World boxes. I’m getting into cigars. I usually buy 5 singles of same cigar. Reason is I want to share or if I like it I got more. I’m still trying to find my “taste” there’s so many out there. I need variety for now. That’s why I don’t get boxes yet. For some reason I’m a little bit off on sampler boxes.
