I do agree with you on the 3A bags though, i have the -6TS and the -1 but they're just collecting dust since I carry a laptop to and from work. I ended up purchasing an orbit gear laptop sleeve with TS-outer and adding a messager carry strap + pouches to it.
As slim and light as possible is imo the best for bags. Carry on luggage brands have had this figured out for decades
Gotcha! I have heard a lot of good things about orbit gear, but haven't commit to buying anything from them yet. Yeah I agree that slim and light bags might be the way to go for on-the-body type of bags. I just picked up a 3a-1 TS for a crazy price (450). Planning on doing a quick review before I leave for korea at the end of this month.
