    Which dries better when it comes to plastics is it, bosch crystal dry or miele auto open?

    • @YaleAppliance1
      @YaleAppliance1  2 роки тому

      Bosch crystal dry is the best drying system on the market. I have it and it dries plastics perfectly. Just be sure to make sure you always have a rinse agent.

      Thank you for your reply. Do you know how does the drying performance on asko dishwashers which have the auto door opening feature compare to Bosch crystal dry? Which is the better drying system for plastics, Bosch or asko?

      @@YaleAppliance1 hi, is it still worth considering miele dishwashers for drying plastics? Do they do a good job?

    • @YaleAppliance1
      @YaleAppliance1  2 роки тому

      @@omarkhokhar5308 Bosch's with CrystalDry are significantly better than Asko when it comes to drying. The CrystalDry is the best perfomring dry on the market.

      @@omarkhokhar5308 Miele does a great job and are probably the best overall units on the market when factoring in total performance. Bosch w/ CrystalDry is your best drying performance however. Especially with plastics. So if dry is your major concern when making a purchase you may want to consider a Bosch with CrystalDry.

    Hey Yale!
    I've spent hours and hours and days over weeks trying to find a dishwasher. My "must have" is something that will do a great job on pots and pans (that may have been sitting around for a day or 2 🙈). I have relied on Yale to help me chose and narrowed it down to 4 (I considered a Beko but the repair options around here are slim). Miele G7000, KitchenAid 604, Bosch 800, GE Profile 755/775/785. From videos I've watched and blogs I've read from Yale, I get the impression that the KA and Miele have a better wash than Bosch 800 because they have one more wash arm and added jets or sprinklers at the top but the IntenseZone on the Miele put it on the top of my list.
    In your experience, is this correct? The KA is readily available and the Miele and Bosch may require us to wait until the fall but I'm willing to wait to get what I need since this is obviously something we will be relying on daily for years. The GE is also readily available and has some features I'm really interested in but I don't know if its design is focused on cleaning pots and pans although it seems it would clean other items well.
    Your videos and blogs are very helpful to give a well rounded overview while keeping it short but the cleaning ability and how it relates to others isn't as clear as some of the other comparisons you make. They all may have an excellent wash but when it comes to pots and pans does the Miele with AutoDos wash the best, even if it's just slightly better? Does the KA604 wash better than a Bosch 800 or Miele without AutoDos? Would the GE Profile even be a good contender in the pots and pans cleaning category? Have I completely overlooked something better in the $2500 and under range?
    And the question I actually came here to ask:
    Do Miele panel ready come with a temporary/generic panel on them until I can get the panel ordered and delivered, which looks like could be months, or will the door internals be exposed when I get it? If it doesn't come with a panel, will I need place something temporary on it to be able to use it until my panel comes in?
    As a side note, something that wasn't clear to me until I started shopping that others may find helpful... The AutoDos only works with the Miele PowerDisk. I thought you could pour your own detergent in it but that's not the case, though the machines with AutoDos also have a traditional dispenser to use with your preferred detergent.
    Thanks Yale for all the work you do to give us information, even those of us outside of your sales area.

      If getting the best clean on your pots and pans is most important then Miele would be your best option far and away. If you cannot wait for a Miele, KitchenAid would be your next best option considering your wants. They wash and dry very well. Keep in mind this is an American-style dishwasher so you wouldn't want to be putting a panel on it. Miele dishwashers come both panel-ready or pre-finished stainless. If you are purchasing a panel-ready dishwasher then it would come ready to accept a 3/4" panel. So you would need to add something to it to be able to open since it sits flush with your cabinetry.

    What about rack rust caused by nicks. I've never had that problem until my most recent machine (not a Miele). I've concluded that it's some sort of built-in obsolescence trick. I'm seeing a lot of online complaints about this issue.

    Any chance you could give an overview of the Miele Professional PFD 104 SCVi XXL? Was told by my Miele USA that the 7966 isn't even available to order any more, but the PFD 104 SCVi XXL is. It's about $4,500 which is way more expensive than even the top end "consumer" 7966 at $3099.

      It's the nature of the business right now. Most of Miele's residential dishwasher line will not be available this year so Pro has taken over especially for higher-end projects in need. The 104 dishwasher looks and feels like the comparable 7 series in the residential line but performs significantly better. It's available in both 120 and 240v power so can work for replacement business as well as new projects looking for a top performer. The 240v unit can do a regular load of dishes in less than 25 minutes.

    Hi the question I'd like to ask is about the hot water connection, I have read that Miele has a hot water feed, due to the way my water is heated it wouldn't be practical for me to fit it to a hot water feed, is this optional or do I have to use the hot water?

    • @YaleAppliance1

      If you bypass this then the machine would not be hitting optimal temperatures to rinse and sanitize your dishes.

    If KitchenAid is more reliable than Miele that's scary. We're now shopping to replace our 4yr old KitchenAid which has failed multiple times with different issues. We spent $1250 new and we've spent over $400 in parts to repair it. The pump is now dead so I'm refusing to put anymore money into this pos. Just more whirlpool junk.
