It’s important to note, that just because someone is proven to be a bad person, does not mean the people calling them so in the past were correct. Stories still manipulated Spoctor to collect false evidence. Prison Mate Luke still chose to paint Peaches in the worst and most inappropriate way possible. Spoctor was defended because STORIES’ claim was false. Peaches was defended because LUKE’S claims were false. They had no evidence of wrongdoing, yet they attacked that person anyway. They were never right.
Nah Luke was right to an extent. The “suicide baiting” stuff was true, cause peaches still does that stuff today as well. You can only get sympathy for “IM GONNA END IT ALL” so many times before you know what you’re doing.

Have you ever just turned on an episode of an anime where everyone is fighting, and there is like this huge build up with everyone involved from the previous episode? Except the random episode you put on, is from a series you didn’t even know existed till now, so you have no idea wtf is going on here at all? That’s how I feel watching this. Nonetheless, at least one moral of the story here is: Stay away from discord. Also don’t screw over the people you ask to help you.

Everyone in this community just seems like they never got out of the social ladder mindset that was high school and college and once they got out they never moved on or did anything productive with their lives. So now they just sit around on the internet trying to one up each other. Putting on fake smiles hoping someone else will slip up so they can move up on the pecking order. They are extremely bitter, vain, and not contributing anything useful or worthwhile outside of their niche art.

The art CC, to be clear. Artists are art-focused have fewer nasty things popping up. Hard to do if you're talking about, IDK, your new found love of making paper now. Just don't go into the yarncraft community. Or think too hard about that one lady who called a black character a "gorilla-looking-ass" when the face shape in the drawing featured proportions she didn't like. Aside from those, can't really think of any art-specific channels that'll get this back-stabby.

It also perfectly encapsulates to practically anything involving somebody you used to look up to in what ever topics you love.
I will say in terms of the Rosa call . I as an autistic person don’t generally care if someone says “retarded” within the right context. If it’s being used to describe something stupid or someone stupid (who isn’t autistic or disabled) then I don’t care. However Lio and especially Peaches knew Rosa was disabled and still called her that. The context was very much them being ableist, they called her that BECAUSE she was autistic and that’s where I draw the line with that word. Many people may feel differently and thats valid, but as for me I just can’t forgive either for what they’ve done. I now know how they really view people like myself 💔

I watched Harley's video on this Senate call. I heard one person say they were a cop and say, "I AM the law." As a CJ major, that really made me mad because he is an insult to law enforcement. ACC Drama: Someone gets falsely accused of doing something horrible, the accused is later proven innocent, the accusations are then proven to be true (original accusers are still wrong somehow), and repeat.

I cannot fathom how people are screaming about how you changed your feelings on someone you thought you once knew. Little did they know, if someone was consistently baiting s*icice, SH, etc, to keep people silent and listen to them. it’s going to make you look at them differently. The drama YEARS AGO blew up way out of proportion. What’s going on now doesn’t invalidate the dumpster fire that happened in 2020-2021. Eren needs mental help, genuine help. Someone who is spiralling like this cannot be healthy to anyone around them, including themselves. I think eren was given way too much cutback AFTER the drama though and that’s what made Eren feel indestructible. They wanted a hugbox, they wanted people to be on hands and knees for them, that was obvious. They called Spoctor out for similar bullshit, spoke about how he felt invincible/safe AFTER everything in 2018 happened. Looking at it all now, it does seem like a way to deflect what they were doing behind the scenes.

He has engaged in so much questionable behavior while playing Peach's savior so people aren't buying it.

They'll gladly work together to deal with a common enemy but the second that person is dealt with,they'll turn on each other and begin fighting in an attempt to increase their own status. They also seem to like using people as long as they're useful

I think it was always like that, the internet just made it easier and allows people to get more of a rush due to immediate satisfaction (e.g., getting more likes than someone). To paraphrase what Mike Tyson said, the internet has made people comfortable with disrespecting each other and not getting punched in the face for it.
People get enraged, & people seek vengeance, in an in vane attempt to seek inner peace about the matter, they cause further strife. So have I, so have I, for I am a person too, 1 with a crybaby heart.
As someone who has been blocked and got into arguments with people over just sharing an opinion or disagreeing with someone , it’s Social media. We’ve normalized being toxic to people we deem “bad” or “problematic” even though that just makes you look like a emotionally compromised hypocrite. People do it for validation cause they think it makes them look “hard” or “edgy” behind a screen.
I've been a spectator of Art CC for over 8 years because I'm an artist and have always tried considering what to do on my YT, but each year I am so glad I'm not an active member/participant because it feels like Highschool Part 2: The Evil Extended Cut. The Art CC is one of the cruelest, most unforgiving communities I have ever seen, and it's even MORE obnoxious when art communities are SUPPOSED to be the most inclusive, accepting and tolerant places. It's disgusting and forever immature, seeming to extend to any age of a human, well into adulthood. Why is it like this? This place is so ridiculous and unhinged, I see dislikes and angry comments exploding no matter how sincere and mature you are covering a topic. You will be hated just for not being exactly how they want you to be and they will NEVER accept you. Seeing people like Peaches, Lumi, Camilla, Spoctor, Shannon, Luke, and (now Lio), I guess it makes perfect sense why it's such a nightmare when so many are unhinged just like them. Thank you for this comprehensive and respectful vid, JAR. The Rosa call and other Senate behaviors still make me sick. Anyone unwilling to change for better will just deny, take no accountability, blame others and run away like Peaches and Spoctor. I will give a chance to people owning up to their mistakes, not to people who will never even consider trying to honestly change or apologize. Edit: I'm starting to understand more of why people refuse to give Lio a second chance and I want to say that I appreciate many of you being honest and compassionate. I will remain skeptically optimistic but appreciate why so many cannot feel the same way. Edit 2: My perspective has changed on Lio and many figures in this community after looking into things further. There is enough recorded evidence alone to show Lio and his crew have not improved. I gave the benefit of a doubt to wait and see if things were improving and instead saw more recent evidence that the opposite is true.

Unfortunately from what I've noticed, its because reactive personalities are attracted to that kind of content. Reactive doesn't always = toxic.... but if you're reactive, you're not taking the time to rationally, calmly parse the situation, find what is the truth, evaluate the evidence, give the other person any level of charity, etc. You *react* first, prompted by a strong emotional response. Then you continue to react to other people's reactions to your reactivity. Which can ramp up the response. Most people go through one (or more) reactive phases in life, mostly around their teens and early 20s. Where small inconsequential shit ends friendships, "ruins" lives, and everyone is too busy feeling emotions about the situation to actually do anything about actually addressing it. Then you either grow out of this phase... or you don't. Commentary videos are reactive by nature. Its someone, somewhere, seeing something and saying "I need to publically react to this thing". Which is perfectly normal... except when its the only thing you do. For hours on end. day after day, for years. Constantly in a state of emotional sensistivity, primed to have a whiplash emotional response to any kind of comment or content to help generate your own. If you notice, a lot of the more level headed Art CC people have pulled waaay back on their CC content, and either have enaged in other content to fill the natural lulls in real issues they feel strong enough to post about, or they may take very long breaks in between the content (semi-retired status) or have alt channels/hustle that aren't related to CC content. Hopefully Lio can grow out of that, or redirect that reactive energy into more positive actions. Because reactivity isn't always a bad thing.... its just easier to snap into negative emotions than to take the time and effort to focus on doing good or helping bring good to others.

I've heard and seen too much evidence that he is continuing his same arrogant "I'm always right, even when presented with evidence". Another thing about these communities is I like to just play the vids for background noise while drawing, chores, playing video games, etc. That's all most of this has been for me. Since I'm not an active part of the community, I don’t feel obligated to look up all videos from every other perspective. It's goofy to take people at their word, but I was, because I used to unconsciously, parasocially trust Peaches and by extension, Lio. Big mistake. I thought they looked into things accordingly and I didn’t exactly know where to look for the statements from the targets of criticism directly if they don't have a UA-cam presence (I am absent from Twitter, FB and Instagram). Believe it or not, the COMMENT SECTION were the ones to finally give me pause and reconsider my perspective, bringing up different incidences that the Lio side neglected or denied happened. Starting from those breadcrumb trails and asking for sources so I could find and hear/see the evidence myself, I finally was disillusioned. I think the pieces that REALLY solidified my opinion were the Stardust streams, especially the one where Lio argued with a lawyer. He is HORRIBLE to her, and his pride, arrogance, and biases are overwhelming. The lying is absolutely nuts. You're right- it makes sense that reactive content will create strong reactions, and everyone reacts to everyone, with true nuance being lacking in most cases. That is a respectable way to go about it. I myself don't work that way. What I will say is if I was involved in that situation, my response would be this. "What I did in that call was unessary and unproductive, and I apologize for what I said in the call however, I will not apologize for what I said to her." Because I'm not above certain standards some of you have. I may respect that part of you guys, but I don't follow them myself. That being said, I would only go as far as to say her actions had consequences, and she needs to get this in her head to know she will have to live with this guilt for the rest of her life. This was pretty shocking honestly, I've been following them throughout all the dramas they got wrapped up in, and despite all that, not once did I think they would even be in the thick of it. I felt so bad for Rosa i heard the call before. It is crazy how he can go from not wanting to be mistreated to doing that to a women with a disability. Nah, man. You're not the only one who had a bad feeling about Lumi. I've been in the Senate before, and I've never had a good experience with him. Anytime I was in a call with Lumi, he would always be in some kind of bad mood. And I wasn't really sure why, one time we were all playing Among Us, and all of a sudden Lumi just blew up. He complained that people were talking over each other, and violating "call etiquette(means don't talk over each other)". But...No one was really doing that, sure a few people accidentally did, but they had apologized and let the other person speak. It wasn't like every single person in the call was talking all at once like he framed it. Hell, Lio was there, and was rather confused too while trying to calm them down. But they just got so upset and left the call, leaving everyone in there rather puzzled, including me. There were also certain times where we were discussing certain people in the CC, and I had made a mistake and misidentified a mental disorder. I can't remember the context of the topic, or what mental disorder I had misidentified. But I was immediately corrected by Lumi and Eren, while nothing heated happened. I felt like I was about to get torn apart based on how Lumi's tone was, felt as if he was holding back a lot of anger after I said that. But thankfully, nothing happened there. My final moments with Lumi, was the same day he nuked the Senate's moderation. This meer moments before D-Day, mind you. But that same day, I was having my own personal problems. For context: I had spinal surgery on March 13th, and was still recovering. But my father didn't see that as a big deal, and wanted me to do stuff for him. He claimed he had worse pain then me before, and invalidated my pain all together. Then when other members of my family got involved and made sure I didn't do what he wanted me to do, he yelled and screamed at me. Berated me, and called me a pussy, acting like I was faking my pain. Mind you, this wasn't even a week after I had my surgery, and what I had was a "herniated disk". So after that had happened, I was so mentally fucked up and just wanted to talk to people about it. And since the server had a lot of people with issues with their parents, I made a joke saying "room for one more in the daddy issues club?". Some people asked what was up, and I started explaining a bit of what had happened. But then, Lumi came in and shut me down, because it would come off as venting. I apologized for it, and said if venting wasn't allowed, then I wouldn't talk about it. But, Lumi had completely brushed me off very coldly. And I won't lie, it genuinely pissed me off the way he did that. I tried not to take it personally, but like I said, I never had a good time with Lumi. I wanted to believe it was the stress of being a moderator, but I have met moderators who were nicer than this. And...wouldn't you know it, soon after that, he nuked the Senate Discord about 30 minutes after he cut me off. And when those docs, dropped is pretty much permanently soured my opinions on Lumi. I find it absolutely astonishing that she cared about the rules with one vent convo, but then immediately discarded them for his and Peaches BS. Glad to know I was right about them all along.
For all of Lumi's flaws, he DID try to calm me down when I cried, and I DID screw up a few times by oversharing and making assumptions with no evidence, as well as being a general doofus all-around. He was calm with me a few times, and he did give me enough time to head home and have that second-to-last call with him since I was using the app on my phone at the time. So... yeah. (This is PUI Joker, btw. The guy who started that weird "Edible Mushroom" debacle)

I will always regret agreeing with the Rosa Rey Ramsey call. I’m not on Discord, and I am told that Rosa is not as innocent as people seem to claim, but that was when I believe anything said was not a threat since I have been hearing that phrase throughout Lio’s channel. Now? I still hold in that phrase, but now I would wish Rosa the best even if she still isn’t as innocent and I will not stand by that call anymore. And Hopeless Peaches should stay gone. Forever. I had unsubscribed from Hopeless Peaches last year, due to losing interest in their channel. Because of that, I've been out of the loop until recently. Looks like things have gotten even crazier(On second thought, it was probably already like that, I just didn't notice).
There is no excuse for that Rosa call. Lio and Peaches were absolutely disgusting. That’s not Lio’s only time talking like that to people. He eventually doubled down in regards to Rosa by claiming that he thought she could’ve been smart enough to leave the call, even tho: 1: We’ve seen how Lio acts when people refuse to get in call or act “cowardly” 2: He new Rosa was not mentally stable and it was so fucking clear how easily influenced she could be, and he kept her in that call even tho she wanted to leave. And he turned around and claimed he thought she knew better just to make himself look good. I can’t believe how many people either don’t care about the words used in that call or are excusing them. I’ll never forgive them for how they handled that call and people cannot seriously excuse them while also canceling people like Luke and Junkie.

Whilst Rosa wasn’t innocent, and she could have done more to push for Neko's expulsion from that server, she certainly didn’t deserve 4 hours worth of harassment and abusive behaviour hurled at her. As she stated, she wasn’t at the level to boot Neko. It was Rebeccah's server, and Rebeccah should have been the one to boot Neko. I have seen on another video that Rosa is still very ill and bedbound by stress seizures. I wouldn't wish that on ANYONE. The video was by MV_KULT and the update comment was made by FVF432. Eren/HP was disgusting, running away like the coward they were, and hurling Lio under the bus. They also give British people (I am one) a ROTTEN name.
Two wrongs don't make a right. I was taught in school that if you saw or heard someone say and do bad things, you try to be the better person in that situation. It’s weird because you wouldn’t think an art community would be a community that has drama outside of taking about art. At worst you’d think something like tracing would be the worst of it, not stuff like the issues and topics presented here, people having genuine beef with other people or backstabbing fellow artist that did nothing wrong like snakes all for whatever personal gain.
To be honest, I was just against how Rosa was being treated cause it was against what the Senate was supposed to strive for, aka productive conversation, making people accountable, and hopefully changing their behavior. For me it was worse when Peaches vilified Michaela (ex voice actor for Yandere dev) and claimed she was victim blaming minors. Yes initially she didn't word it well, but calling out creeps and then telling kids to be careful and not to talk to adults shouldn't be considered "victim blaming" but common sense.

The first like 40 seconds is something I had been seeing more and more hearing so many controversies within the space. Nearly every time people who were friends with each other are instantly thrown under the bus and cannibalized as soon as the opportunity arises. So many times I hear a person being friendly with another and then it becomes socially acceptable to trash on them and that friendship disappears incredibly fast. Not even a wait and see how things progress kind of thing, just instant turncoat. More and more it just feels like so many are moral grandstanders where none of them are actually friends but just uneasy allies ready to pounce and prey on each other when the opportunity arrives. It just feels like so toxic of an environment. Hearing that call time after time still just is incredibly hard to listen to with how unneeded so much of it was. Lio was a cringey angy man until ponder showed up and peaches basically just seemingly working out some weird aggression by constantly flinging insults that they would be horrified by if they were to be aimed at them.
The entire art commentary community is a pile of toxicity and everyone Creepshow Art talked, kept in touch with and had drama with has become cursed. Cursed into irrevelancy, proved to be even more horrible than her or ended up leaving UA-cam entirely.
I know I made a lot of videos defending Hopeless Peaches but today I will not be doing that. I think it's time you all know the truth about them and what they have been getting up to.

It’s important to note, that just because someone is proven to be a bad person, does not mean the people calling them so in the past were correct. Stories still manipulated Spoctor to collect false evidence. Prison Mate Luke still chose to paint Peaches in the worst and most inappropriate way possible. Spoctor was defended because STORIES’ claim was false. Peaches was defended because LUKE’S claims were false. They had no evidence of wrongdoing, yet they attacked that person anyway. They were never right.

I will say in terms of the Rosa call . I as an autistic person don’t generally care if someone says “retarded” within the right context. If it’s being used to describe something stupid or someone stupid (who isn’t autistic or disabled) then I don’t care. However Lio and especially Peaches knew Rosa was disabled and still called her that. The context was very much them being ableist, they called her that BECAUSE she was autistic and that’s where I draw the line with that word. Many people may feel differently and thats valid, but as for me I just can’t forgive either for what they’ve done. I now know how they really view people like myself 💔

I cannot fathom how people are screaming about how you changed your feelings on someone you thought you once knew. Little did they know, if someone was consistently baiting s*icice, SH, etc, to keep people silent and listen to them. it’s going to make you look at them differently.
The drama YEARS AGO blew up way out of proportion. What’s going on now doesn’t invalidate the dumpster fire that happened in 2020-2021.
Eren needs mental help, genuine help. Someone who is spiralling like this cannot be healthy to anyone around them, including themselves. I think eren was given way too much cutback AFTER the drama though and that’s what made Eren feel indestructible. They wanted a hugbox, they wanted people to be on hands and knees for them, that was obvious.
They called Spoctor out for similar bullshit, spoke about how he felt invincible/safe AFTER everything in 2018 happened. Looking at it all now, it does seem like a way to deflect what they were doing behind the scenes.

I've been a spectator of Art CC for over 8 years because I'm an artist and have always tried considering what to do on my YT, but each year I am so glad I'm not an active member/participant because it feels like Highschool Part 2: The Evil Extended Cut. The Art CC is one of the cruelest, most unforgiving communities I have ever seen, and it's even MORE obnoxious when art communities are SUPPOSED to be the most inclusive, accepting and tolerant places. It's disgusting and forever immature, seeming to extend to any age of a human, well into adulthood. Why is it like this? This place is so ridiculous and unhinged, I see dislikes and angry comments exploding no matter how sincere and mature you are covering a topic. You will be hated just for not being exactly how they want you to be and they will NEVER accept you.
Seeing people like Peaches, Lumi, Camilla, Spoctor, Shannon, Luke, and (now Lio), I guess it makes perfect sense why it's such a nightmare when so many are unhinged just like them.
Thank you for this comprehensive and respectful vid, JAR. The Rosa call and other Senate behaviors still make me sick. Anyone unwilling to change for better will just deny, take no accountability, blame others and run away like Peaches and Spoctor. I will give a chance to people owning up to their mistakes, not to people who will never even consider trying to honestly change or apologize.
Edit: I'm starting to understand more of why people refuse to give Lio a second chance and I want to say that I appreciate many of you being honest and compassionate. I will remain skeptically optimistic but appreciate why so many cannot feel the same way.
Edit 2: My perspective has changed on Lio and many figures in this community after looking into things further. There is enough recorded evidence alone to show Lio and his crew have not improved. I gave the benefit of a doubt to wait and see if things were improving and instead saw more recent evidence that the opposite is true.

Unfortunately from what I've noticed, its because reactive personalities are attracted to that kind of content. Reactive doesn't always = toxic.... but if you're reactive, you're not taking the time to rationally, calmly parse the situation, find what is the truth, evaluate the evidence, give the other person any level of charity, etc. You *react* first, prompted by a strong emotional response. Then you continue to react to other people's reactions to your reactivity. Which can ramp up the response.
Most people go through one (or more) reactive phases in life, mostly around their teens and early 20s. Where small inconsequential shit ends friendships, "ruins" lives, and everyone is too busy feeling emotions about the situation to actually do anything about actually addressing it.
Then you either grow out of this phase... or you don't.
Commentary videos are reactive by nature. Its someone, somewhere, seeing something and saying "I need to publically react to this thing".
Which is perfectly normal... except when its the only thing you do. For hours on end. day after day, for years. Constantly in a state of emotional sensistivity, primed to have a whiplash emotional response to any kind of comment or content to help generate your own.
If you notice, a lot of the more level headed Art CC people have pulled waaay back on their CC content, and either have enaged in other content to fill the natural lulls in real issues they feel strong enough to post about, or they may take very long breaks in between the content (semi-retired status) or have alt channels/hustle that aren't related to CC content.
Hopefully Lio can grow out of that, or redirect that reactive energy into more positive actions. Because reactivity isn't always a bad thing.... its just easier to snap into negative emotions than to take the time and effort to focus on doing good or helping bring good to others.

I've heard and seen too much evidence that he is continuing his same arrogant "I'm always right, even when presented with evidence". Another thing about these communities is I like to just play the vids for background noise while drawing, chores, playing video games, etc. That's all most of this has been for me. Since I'm not an active part of the community, I don’t feel obligated to look up all videos from every other perspective. It's goofy to take people at their word, but I was, because I used to unconsciously, parasocially trust Peaches and by extension, Lio. Big mistake.
I thought they looked into things accordingly and I didn’t exactly know where to look for the statements from the targets of criticism directly if they don't have a UA-cam presence (I am absent from Twitter, FB and Instagram).
Believe it or not, the COMMENT SECTION were the ones to finally give me pause and reconsider my perspective, bringing up different incidences that the Lio side neglected or denied happened. Starting from those breadcrumb trails and asking for sources so I could find and hear/see the evidence myself, I finally was disillusioned. I think the pieces that REALLY solidified my opinion were the Stardust streams, especially the one where Lio argued with a lawyer. He is HORRIBLE to her, and his pride, arrogance, and biases are overwhelming. The lying is absolutely nuts.
You're right- it makes sense that reactive content will create strong reactions, and everyone reacts to everyone, with true nuance being lacking in most cases.

Because I'm not above certain standards some of you have. I may respect that part of you guys, but I don't follow them myself. That being said, I would only go as far as to say her actions had consequences, and she needs to get this in her head to know she will have to live with this guilt for the rest of her life. I felt so bad for Rosa i heard the call before. It is crazy how he can go from not wanting to be mistreated to doing that to a women with a disability. I used to like him. i even made sims of his peaches character. But being neurodivergent myself i was bothered by how disrespectful and ablist peaches was being to Rosa. She was just there as a moderator. And she probably didn't fully understand what was going on due to her disability. But instead of putting that into consideration He belittled her. Disgusting.
There were some other Issues with Rosa, she harassed Angel, formerly known as LovelyLina, the first Person Rebeccah groomed and spread Misinformation about Rebeccah and Crimson being "abused" by Mr Enter (which Crimson himself never claimed btw). Of course this doesn´t excuse the Way the Senate treated her, especially not the Ableism. What she would have needed was Advice to help her, especially considering how manipulative Rebeccah was to the People around her

Nah, man. You're not the only one who had a bad feeling about Lumi. I've been in the Senate before, and I've never had a good experience with him. Anytime I was in a call with Lumi, he would always be in some kind of bad mood. And I wasn't really sure why, one time we were all playing Among Us, and all of a sudden Lumi just blew up.
He complained that people were talking over each other, and violating "call etiquette(means don't talk over each other)". But...No one was really doing that, sure a few people accidentally did, but they had apologized and let the other person speak. It wasn't like every single person in the call was talking all at once like he framed it. Hell, Lio was there, and was rather confused too while trying to calm them down. But they just got so upset and left the call, leaving everyone in there rather puzzled, including me.
There were also certain times where we were discussing certain people in the CC, and I had made a mistake and misidentified a mental disorder. I can't remember the context of the topic, or what mental disorder I had misidentified. But I was immediately corrected by Lumi and Eren, while nothing heated happened. I felt like I was about to get torn apart based on how Lumi's tone was, felt as if he was holding back a lot of anger after I said that. But thankfully, nothing happened there.
My final moments with Lumi, was the same day he nuked the Senate's moderation. This meer moments before D-Day, mind you. But that same day, I was having my own personal problems.
For context: I had spinal surgery on March 13th, and was still recovering. But my father didn't see that as a big deal, and wanted me to do stuff for him. He claimed he had worse pain then me before, and invalidated my pain all together. Then when other members of my family got involved and made sure I didn't do what he wanted me to do, he yelled and screamed at me. Berated me, and called me a pussy, acting like I was faking my pain. Mind you, this wasn't even a week after I had my surgery, and what I had was a "herniated disk".
So after that had happened, I was so mentally fucked up and just wanted to talk to people about it. And since the server had a lot of people with issues with their parents, I made a joke saying "room for one more in the daddy issues club?". Some people asked what was up, and I started explaining a bit of what had happened. But then, Lumi came in and shut me down, because it would come off as venting. I apologized for it, and said if venting wasn't allowed, then I wouldn't talk about it. But, Lumi had completely brushed me off very coldly. And I won't lie, it genuinely pissed me off the way he did that. I tried not to take it personally, but like I said, I never had a good time with Lumi. I wanted to believe it was the stress of being a moderator, but I have met moderators who were nicer than this.
And...wouldn't you know it, soon after that, he nuked the Senate Discord about 30 minutes after he cut me off. And when those docs, dropped is pretty much permanently soured my opinions on Lumi. I find it absolutely astonishing that she cared about the rules with one vent convo, but then immediately discarded them for his and Peaches BS. Glad to know I was right about them all along.
For all of Lumi's flaws, he DID try to calm me down when I cried, and I DID screw up a few times by oversharing and making assumptions with no evidence, as well as being a general doofus all-around. He was calm with me a few times, and he did give me enough time to head home and have that second-to-last call with him since I was using the app on my phone at the time.
So... yeah. (This is PUI Joker, btw. The guy who started that weird "Edible Mushroom" debacle)

It seems that Hopeless Peaches has a real personal problem with anybody talking about them not making sure to wipe their slate clean and making sure they looks as pure as possible. They once said that nobody made a good video about all the shit that went down in the ACC. I said that Cecil McFly made a good one, and got the response of because Cecil said Peaches was responsible for one thing, ONE THING, it's not a good video....like....what? One thing in a four and a half hour video made the video bad because Peaches wasn't crystal clean. Okay. Sure.
I'm glad I never joined the senate, I probably would have been reamed into within the first 10 minutes if they blew up at you over petty bullshit.

I will always regret agreeing with the Rosa Rey Ramsey call. I’m not on Discord, and I am told that Rosa is not as innocent as people seem to claim, but that was when I believe anything said was not a threat since I have been hearing that phrase throughout Lio’s channel. Now? I still hold in that phrase, but now I would wish Rosa the best even if she still isn’t as innocent and I will not stand by that call anymore. And Hopeless Peaches should stay gone. Forever.

There is no excuse for that Rosa call. Lio and Peaches were absolutely disgusting. That’s not Lio’s only time talking like that to people. He eventually doubled down in regards to Rosa by claiming that he thought she could’ve been smart enough to leave the call, even tho:
1: We’ve seen how Lio acts when people refuse to get in call or act “cowardly”
2: He new Rosa was not mentally stable and it was so fucking clear how easily influenced she could be, and he kept her in that call even tho she wanted to leave. And he turned around and claimed he thought she knew better just to make himself look good.
I can’t believe how many people either don’t care about the words used in that call or are excusing them. I’ll never forgive them for how they handled that call and people cannot seriously excuse them while also canceling people like Luke and Junkie.

Pretty upset to hear about this whole situation. I felt so bad for Peaches when they went through what they went through and I did need to apologize for how I treated them. But that was a different situation and I know I can't let that cloud my judgement over holding them accountable I can bet you Kai and Omnia will soon come out with videos about how they were right the whole time.

Whilst Rosa wasn’t innocent, and she could have done more to push for Neko's expulsion from that server, she certainly didn’t deserve 4 hours worth of harassment and abusive behaviour hurled at her. As she stated, she wasn’t at the level to boot Neko. It was Rebeccah's server, and Rebeccah should have been the one to boot Neko.
I have seen on another video that Rosa is still very ill and bedbound by stress seizures. I wouldn't wish that on ANYONE. The video was by MV_KULT and the update comment was made by FVF432.

it makes me sad cause I'm an artist who loves watching people draw while commenting on stuff, I find it relaxing, so it just makes me so frustrated that so much of the community is so toxic
It’s weird because you wouldn’t think an art community would be a community that has drama outside of taking about art. At worst you’d think something like tracing would be the worst of it, not stuff like the issues and topics presented here, people having genuine beef with other people or backstabbing fellow artist that did nothing wrong like snakes all for whatever personal gain.
To be honest, I was just against how Rosa was being treated cause it was against what the Senate was supposed to strive for, aka productive conversation, making people accountable, and hopefully changing their behavior. For me it was worse when Peaches vilified Michaela (ex voice actor for Yandere dev) and claimed she was victim blaming minors. Yes initially she didn't word it well, but calling out creeps and then telling kids to be careful and not to talk to adults shouldn't be considered "victim blaming" but common sense.

It’s shocking how much drama could be solved if people just grew the fuck up and learned how to handle their problems like adults. There are so many narcissists and weirdos in these communities, that can’t be coincidental. Whats the catalyst? What is it that drags people like this to this specific part of the internet?
That’s the issue with the art CC. It’s either full of children/minors who don’t know how to handle any kind of situation or adults who haven’t mentally matured since high school. And even worse, it’s people from the DA ranting community in the community. And that community was just full of unnecessary drama over Sonic drawings. 🤦🏾♀️
The first like 40 seconds is something I had been seeing more and more hearing so many controversies within the space. Nearly every time people who were friends with each other are instantly thrown under the bus and cannibalized as soon as the opportunity arises. So many times I hear a person being friendly with another and then it becomes socially acceptable to trash on them and that friendship disappears incredibly fast. Not even a wait and see how things progress kind of thing, just instant turncoat.
More and more it just feels like so many are moral grandstanders where none of them are actually friends but just uneasy allies ready to pounce and prey on each other when the opportunity arrives. It just feels like so toxic of an environment.
Hearing that call time after time still just is incredibly hard to listen to with how unneeded so much of it was. Lio was a cringey angy man until ponder showed up and peaches basically just seemingly working out some weird aggression by constantly flinging insults that they would be horrified by if they were to be aimed at them.
The entire art commentary community is a pile of toxicity and everyone Creepshow Art talked, kept in touch with and had drama with has become cursed. Cursed into irrevelancy, proved to be even more horrible than her or ended up leaving UA-cam entirely.
