      Honestly just a really disrespectful and sick thing to say. People like karsten anger me so much. You've got to understand something real simple... Not all cops are bad! The left media may make it out to be so and that may be all that is televised, (that meaning they never show the good deeds they do) but if you think that the majority of the police force's intent is harmful then that is quite frankly just delusion and an unwillingness to think and you need to think before you make outlandish claims like that. Just think about the ones that join the force to protect and serve. Respect on their brand cannot be understated.

    • @phirion6341
      @phirion6341 2 роки тому +86

      @@quinnmitchell516 "Not all cops are bad" doesn't help in a conversation that questions the power and borderline militarisation that the police holds. Why wouldn't we put exactly those who are legally allowed to use and wield weapons under intense scrutiny? Why are extremist/overly nationalist/ideologically laden cops so common? I am not comfortable calling them pigs outright, but I do question why aforementioned groups find themselves in the police so often, as though the whole system favours people with a strong sense of personal justice fulfillment and territorialism. Shouldn't the police be closer to the communities they "protect" instead of "high mighty truth and justice wielders"?

    David Lynch appearently believes that good films don't need to be discussed after having veiwed it, like as if we and the other viewers in a cinema know what we saw yet we have our own unique view on the film, and i think thats beautiful.

    The most notable movie I watched this month was the 1984 movie Dune. I watched it in preparation to compare it with the remake coming out soon. And boy was it one of the most intensely all over the place movies I’ve seen to date. Pros: Really cool costume design and I feel like some of the actors really threw themselves into their characters. I also feel like the director attempted to make an accurate summary of the books by not dumbing down the storyline. Cons: the editing and cgi dated the movie extremely, it was really dry and confusing during some parts, and because the character development wasn’t all there I felt unattached to the protagonists. Either way, I’m really intrigued to watch the remake in a few months!
