Seriously, though, as other comments have pointed out, there was a heatwave in Europe in 2003, and besides, the venue was probably quite poorly ventilated.

If I remember correctly, Brian was quite ill during this show and had a fever of like 103° or something. But look at him - he goes out there and gives it his all anyways, risking his health and putting aside his own needs for the fans. That's what rock and roll is - that's why this is the greatest band of all time. Any modern act would cancel the show "apologizing" to the fans saying they were too sick to perform. But not AC/DC. They are true road warriors who will literally Rock or Bust. Mal, Brian, and Phil may be gone now, but the band carries on because it is not just about them. AC/DC is so much more than a band and much bigger than the members. They are the last of the giants, fighting the good fight. Eventually they will be gone and I hope that void will be filled by a band half as honorable.
they were also told not to play the show because of how hot it was in the building. Just shows how much AC/DC cares about the fans!

Jr JMc Yes since Malcolm had to retire something very special has been taken away from our lives. The creator of truly a great entity in AC/DC leaves me sad at times Bon's passing was tragic but Malcolm kept it going for a generation to appreciate. Malcolm should be remembered as a true legend I've always considered him one to be a great thinker he did not allow his mantra to change simple great music was what it was all about Thank you Malcolm Young.

Wow, it must have been 100 degrees Celsius in there....compare the Circus Krone Videos...this must have been played late in the setlist, they all look totally wasted and they still rock! But even Phil Rudd sounds exhausted at some points....no wonder. Still, great song!
I hope not. 100 Degrees C=212F. Everybody would have boiled to death. It was apparently close to 104F though. Hot as hell....or North Carolina in July :)
