@@CaptureLifeConnection _your welcome mate, i'm happily to see you on your next video and content and learned from experience and review... More power to your channel mate...
Nice review! First, I did not buy the FPV drone because it is dangerous. You can kill people with that brick. The Avata came, and I decided to go for it. The best decision ever. The flying experience is unbeatable. Since finally you can fly the FPV drone with the Goggles 2, I would buy one, if you could buy the drone only. To buy a combo makes no sense. For now, I fly the Avata as well as the mini 3 pro with the goggles. Great fun! And if I look in my log files: 80% of my flights are with the Avata! Best drone for me ever!
The Mini 3 Pro and the Avata are two perfect drones. You honestly don’t need anything else. The Avata grew on me. I was such a big fan of the DJI FPV because it couldn’t get pushed around. I found the Avata hard to fly in certain situations because of the ducts. Any breeze would push the drone. But as time went on I learned how to utilize the Avata better. Now I fly the Avata more than the DJI FPV. And the Avata camera is way better than the one on the DJI Avata. I wish you all the best! ✌️😎
Yeah, the DJI FPV is pretty heavy. You wouldn’t want to be figuring things out with that drone. That was a very unfortunate situation. You know they’re growing ears on the back of rats. Maybe you can get a new finger tip 🤓.
Great review brother. I like them both, but like you said, the avata is definitely useful for beginners or for those conditions where the avata will benefit. DJI FPV for me is more in line for high speed and wide open areas. Cool reel at the end, I need to check that garden area out again and definitely the train spot.
Thanks for the support and also sharing your thoughts. This can be helpful for others. It was like 3 years ago we flew that garden with Ray and Billy 🤔. Was that the last time for you? Let me know when you want to return. We can make that happen soon if you have the time. Thanks again for the support bro 🙏🙏🙏.
Thanks for the discussion on both DJI FPV drones. I have the Avata, and I'm starting to like it, I fly it more these days. But now that you can get the FPV for rock bottom prices, I thought about trying it out as well. Since it will now work with my Integra goggles and motion 2 controller, if I understand the latest update correctly. Great video, and I loved the flight at the end. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, the DJI FPV is hard to pass up at this point. You know I always favored the DJI FPV over the Avata but I have to admit, the Avata has grown on me. Currently the Avata is getting more flight time. Even at the race track recently. The DJI FPV stayed in the trunk of my car. 😲! 🙃🙂🙃 The Avata is a fun drone and I am glad you are giving it a try. The V2 should be interesting. I’m ready to invest in that one as well 🤩. I appreciate you watching bro 🙏🙏!
First off man...how don't you have more subs and views...?! Great videos and great editing! I started off with the FPV and absolutely love it! Bought an entire second full FPV combo as "spares". Lol. But I'm seriously considering adding the Avata now (because it will easily pair with my existing FPV gear) but mainly so I can hit some tighter spaces. One question for you... How's the prop wash on the Avata when you're really pushing it? Keep up the great work man! 👍
🤷🏻♂️I’m not sure how UA-cam selects videos they recommend to likeminded people. I have friends that have a better understanding. My channel is behind a bunch of boxes in the basement of UA-cam…😂 You have to really be looking to find it 🧐. Till this day I still feel that the DJI Avata is good for certain situations. Hitting gaps, etc. For my style of flying I find that the DJI FPV is more useful. I do use the Avata more and more now. And that’s because I am finding places and situations that the Avata would shine. The Avata is easily pushed on a windy day. It struggles for sure. I know people have used it successfully as a freestyle drone but I wouldn’t recommend it. My friends have complained about prop-wash. The flight characteristics are completely different from the DJI FPV. With that said I’m still glad I purchased the DJI Avata. I now feel I have the best of both worlds. I have another great tool in my creative toolbox. Thanks for stopping in and leaving such a great comment. I hope my response is helpful.
@@CaptureLifeConnection Thanks for the great response! I think I'll pick up the Avata as well...for just like you said...the best of both worlds. 👍 And as for UA-cam and who gets pushed to the top of the pile... Seems to all come down to who they can best advertise off of. Flashiness, dollars, affiliations, etc. I don't think anyone with big followings (regarding any topic of interest) is "organic". Meaning...they're "sponsored" in some shape or form.
Not sure I would get the FPV after getting the avata. Probably the Air 3 to do things that the Avata couldnt do like high wind situations. It has the camera, the lens and the power for it. But im not an acrobatic flyer nor do I am to be. Thanks for commenting on my videos and visiting. Fly safe.
An Air 3 would be a great addition to your Avata. You’ll have both worlds. Traditional camera drone and FPV. I heard an Avata V2 will be released early 2024. I’ll definitely invest in that.
Apart from SD card location, not sure how much better it can be. You cant put a bigger sensor inside or it changes the form factor. If you flatten the drone, it changes the form factor. The people who may have outgrown it may want a bigger propulsion system but IMHO if you already have the skills to fly acro and want it for acro, get a dedicated acro with an O3/4 unit. I believe they designed the Avata as a low altitude general purpose fpv and IMHO i think they achieved it well. Anything else would be an Air 3 sized cinewhoop or someone can just come out with a mod for the Air 3 that puts propeller guards on it like those carbon fibre ones. Only drawback would be the flight dynamics. The only reason I am not prepared to invest in one would be because the flight dynamics of the camera drones looks different from all the videos ive seen. Doesn't look as responsive. Ive not seen anyone testing the mini 3 pro or air 3 flying aggressively yet@@CaptureLifeConnection
@CaptureLifeConnection I totally agree with you and I really think I should get avata so I own both dji and have role on part which one works better than the other in situations Thanks Pal and love your channel 👍 Jamie
@@DroneBum I’m coming for GoPro next. I should have time to edit this weekend 🤔. I’ll share some photo/video bombing soon as well 😉😂. I think the Avata would be perfect for you. Especially if you could Livestream with it. The camera is better than the one on the DJI FPV. Maybe after the sale 🏠😁💰.
My original review on the DJI FPV & Avata. Valuable points made.

_i totally 100% agree that avata is first fpv beginner.. i have avata for 1 yr and i found that i totally learned soo much from avata..

0:56 so true! That thing can be dangerous! Although, the Avata did cut off my fingertip. 🤔 Can't fix stupid, I guess. 😅

Very nice i own the dji fpv for 2 years im really thinking 🤔 avata for those small gaps
Thanks! I’m pretty much prepared for any FPV droning situation by owning the DJI FPV and the Avata. It’s the best of both worlds within the DJI brand.
