    Nice video!
    I got the Avata 2 this week. It's my first fpv drone. I love it! The motion controller is really fun. I can orbit objets by using joystick and slight twist of the wrist. Remote ordered too.

      I’m hearing great things about the motion controller. I’m going to have to try it out. DJI is killing it with all the features.

    Nice flight Stevy! Enjoyed hearing your thoughts. The camera is much improved and I’m enjoying the comfort of the googles. No Acro for me yet. Hoping they will make the RC 2 compatible with the Avata 2. Can’t wait to see some more of your flights sir!

      Thank you John. I haven’t used the motion controller yet. I didn’t even open the box until I got the regular controller 😆. I’m hearing great things about it though. I might actually try it out.
      I was flying it again today. A lot! New video coming soon.

      This is the first FPV drone from DJI that doesn’t fly heavy, if that makes any sense. That’s a great improvement for manual mode.

    I have literally NO experience with FPV but been flying DJI for years since original Mavic and I can say I LOVE THIS DRONE so much. I hate putting it down. Everytime my batteries are empty I watch them charge and cannot wait to fly again. Most fun I've had as a sUAS pilot since I even started. Gonna use this drone to carve a niche in my area with local realtors doing fly through videos

    • @CaptureLifeConnection
      @CaptureLifeConnection  4 місяці тому +1

      If and when you are ready to try FPV, the Avata 2 would be the way to go. My opinion only. You are already familiar with DJI and how their apps function. The Avata 2 has all the latest safety features, except for obstacle avoidance obviously. Obstacle avoidance would hinder any FPV drone. You could progress at your own pace. And you will always have that bail-out button if things get sketchy. The drone will just stop right where it’s at. And you are in the middle of a flip or something, it will correct itself. It’s like having training wheels.

    Bro, thank you for this video! I’ve been excited about this drone for a bit now, ever since the first rumors 😅, and mine should be finally arriving this week. To see your maiden flight and your genuine reactions has got me even more excited now 😂
    I’ve been flying the Avata 1 (my first FPV) for the past 4 months now. Month 1 was all motion controller, but since then, practicing M-mode/freestyle with the DJI FPV Controller 2. It’s been a blast and I do really like the Avata 1, however, when it comes to freestyle, it most definitely has its limits, even for very experienced freestyle pilots as can be seen all over the internet. When you talked about this Avata 2 feeling more floaty as compared to the Avata 1 and how the Avata 1 “tanks” (I think that’s how you put it), I had to LOL because I know exactly what you mean about that feeling with the original. If it’s greatly improved in only that one aspect even, that will greatly increase my confidence level of being able to pull off some of the maneuvers I struggle with now, and I can see that hasn’t been the only improvement so your video has got me hype to try it!
    I’ve got hours and hours of my experience learning manual FPV flights recorded with the Avata 1. Eventually I’ll get some of that edited down and posted, but that’s beside the point.
    Thanks again for this video and the genuine reaction/thoughts! 😉👍🏼
    I do have a quick comment and question if I may? It appears to have been a pretty calm, non-windy day in this video. Was this the case, and if so, have you had the chance to test its capabilities on a windy day?
    I know that on windy days with the Avata 1, freestyle flying is pretty much a no go. It just gets tossed around too much and can be very hard to predictably maneuver. Anything you can speak of on this matter for the Avata 2 would be appreciated!
    Keep the videos coming bud, great stuff!!!

    • @CaptureLifeConnection
      @CaptureLifeConnection  4 місяці тому

      Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the original Avata. My journey into FPV started with the DJI FPV.
      I glad you enjoyed the video. I watched so many Avata 2 videos and they seemed so rehearsed. I couldn’t tell if they were being honest or just trying to keep their relationship good with DJI. That’s why I created this video.
      Yeah, The original Avata and also the DJI FPV flys heavy. The Avata 2 is smoother. Once I popped it in to manual mode I could feel the difference. And this is straight out the box. I made no adjustments.
      It’s funny you mentioned wind because I had a rough experience this weekend. Cinewhoops and wind are a bad combination. The Avata 2 gets pushed 🙁. UAV forecast app displayed 12 Wind and 33 Gusts 💨. The Avata 2 was sideways.

    • @Jlehr1980
      @Jlehr1980 4 місяці тому +1

      @@CaptureLifeConnection Yep, I know what you mean about the Avata 2 reviews at the moment. Why I was happy to see yours. I had already ordered anyhow, but it is nice to see and hear some thoughts about it that I can trust to be fully legitimate, so thanks again! 😁
      About the wind question,…um, glad you had that experience? 😅 Meaning that you have gotten a chance to test it in windy conditions, not that it was some tough flying 😂🤣
      I kinda figured that would be the case, like you said , cinewhoops and wind in general just don’t play well together. Hey, I’m going to have to check out the UAV forecast app you mentioned! That sounds really helpful 😁👍🏼
