Hey US Open, when you only post 2 minutes of highlights, could you please not waste 10 seconds showing the coin toss? That’s at least one more point you could’ve shown.
Thanks!

Novak is spending way too much time in these early matches and is also not serving well. Needs to improve quickly. Especially for the next round.

@damienwillis2723 The highlights are too short. I wouldn't put this terrible highlights on you tube but I would try to prolong them somehow before I do so. I don't imagine they expect to admire them for the "hard work" they put to these highlights ;
Suddenly Novak has the toughest draw! The 2 most dangerous players right now in the next 2 rounds - Popyrin and shelton (mostly)
The clowns at the us open stacked it against him
Popyrin could be a serious problem with his summer momentum and confidence. His height, serve and deep groundstrokes could make this a long match esp if djo continues struggling with his 1st serve %.
Enlighten me, which opponents in the next two rounds do Alcaras and Sinner have?

I think he gave everything in Olympia. Not sure, if he has the energy and motivation for this afterwards. But we'll see.
As much as I want Novak to win this tournament, I don’t think he will. I still think the Olympics has took a lot of energy and motivation of him…. Hope he wins it tho 🏅

I know this is probably the best for tennis, but is to much noise during the match
i agree, and i don't think it's the best for tennis, it's hard to focus ever for those who watch the match
i have been in Ashe at night to see Novak. The noise is terrible but more than that you can barely breath as there is no circulation of air from outside. not a breeze or anything.I was miserable and i was just sitting. I can't imagine how tough it is for the players. They got to fix this issue
My question is why are they playing together again…..to eliminate one SRB player sooner or what is wrong here…????
Djere was the only man to take a set from Novak in USO 2023. This time he goes two down and retires. Novak is a machine 🐐
Popyrin defeated him
Djere is a quitter honestly. I don't think he would be 'too injured' if he won the second set.
Cant the crowd be quiet??!! Ive never heard such a bussle during a match before. Sorry, the stereotype is true, americans are loud...
Injuries are the deadliest opponent of top tennis players.
It was a Battle last year
I saw the match live and Djoker was absolutely destroyed physically after the first set. He called for physio and seemed like he could barely continue. Then out of nowhere Djere retires. I was like wth is going on????
Rigged?
@m.a.g.3920 Djere often has physical problems, if you watched the match with Struff, he had 3 medical timeouts, so stop talking nonsense.
Novak was not physically destroyed, but he had breathing problems due to the high humidity of the air, and as far as I know, they also played the second set and Novak was leading in the third 2:0 when Djere retires the match, there was no chance that Djere would win that match if you thought and the conditions were difficult for him as well. However, we who watch on TV can see better than when watching live.

Please please... believe me....
On this form, hitting under half of first serves, lacking the killshots/winners of the Olympics, passive, Popyrin is knocking out Novak easily. Last time I bet against Novak (the Olympics vs Alcaraz), I lost $500, but if I wasn't poor, I'd bet $500 on Popyrin winning. Alexei has reached a new gear and I think he's top-10 material. If Novak somehow gets through Alexei, Shelton is always dangerous on HC if his serve is serving. Raw power on serve, a huge FH, and athleticism can get you through many a match, even if your backhand is slice or bust. Hope Novak finds his serve on the practice court, or his title defense will meet an untimely demise. Definitely not buying the nonsense about him having an easy draw -- sure he won't meet Med, Alcaraz or Sinner until the final, but I feel much better about his chances against those 3 (except Sinner) than I do against the underrated Popyrin and the hyper-motivated-to-hang-up-on-weak-Novak Shelton. Those 2 players may lack consistency, but they bring danger every match. The only thing giving me hope is that this is Novak I'm talking about. GOAT until proven otherwise.
stop gambling and stop encouraging others to gamble.
You bet against Novak?
Wow.... you crazy my friend.
Sorry for your loss
Never bet against Novakonator for he can beat anyone when he clicks
I wonder if Serbians would be mad if he beat Novak since he is trying for something bigger than just another Grand Slam. I mean he's already the GOAT but a little more cushion would be nice.
Just a little disappointed but not angry because Laszlo is also from Serbia but Laszlo is not a player for big things like Novak even though he plays great tennis at times. He doesn't have the mentality of a winner, he doesn't know how to play consistently at the same level for the entire match, there is basically no big difference in the game of the top 50 players, but it's all in the head.
Well if novak loses they are gonna he played bad nobody's gonna talk about the opponent.
@@milanavujicic6854 Thank you for the reply. I figured most Serbians would prefer Novak to win. But I don't think I agree with most of the game is mental in the top 50. It's a big part of it at any high level sport and can crush your career if you're weak mentaly but athletic ability (serve, forehand, etc), endurance, training, eating & sleeping well all play a big role as well.
@@badmanskill1112 Well of course, it's understood that at the top level you must have top level skills of playing tennis.
But the thing is, all top 50 players are regarding just skills, on the top of their game.
What truly makes the biggest difference at that level is how resilient you are to mental pressure.
Btw, that's not my theory, all top players from any sport will say you that same thing.
Well Djere forgot how to play tennis in the important moments of the match and even retired mid match. So a gift to Djokovic from Djere.

Because he pass most of his time to anticipate the play of other players.
