SANITY RANTS What Would You Have Me Say? 4-28-2022
What would you have me say? A rhetorical question. Kidding not kidding.

I'd like to add apathy to Dr. Kings ignorance & conscientious stupidity truth... But I know why he didn't include it. I think he even talked about it. Because he had already counted out the people that just don't care. Now, people you expect to care who give lip service, and then fall short of showing actual support, is more dangerous and more of a heartbreak especially if you're counting on them. When it's necessary to stand up and call out racism wherever we see it, and some people are just a "no-show!" And they create more damage because they silently perpetuate systemic racism without questioning it...
This rant might be a nice icebreaker for that little get together, we all need to have with people who refuse to talk about world affairs and the consequences of our decisions.
If people aren't in serious conversations discussions and arguments about the state of affairs in this country and world, then you're definitely an important part of what's causing this. Ignoring Fascism clearly doesn't make it go away. It didn't go well when people ignored Hitler either. Is it too soon? Can we make that analogy yet? I know it used to be a conversation ender as soon as somebody goes to Hitler, the tools of debate have been cast aside.
But guess what. Here it is. Hitler 2.0. We have to talk about it and we have to talk about people we know and love who support the right wing extremist agenda death cult 45. Because I love my friends. I want to be able to communicate and connect, and share and know that we are working for exactly the same thing in a realistic way where we can achieve it. And when you tell me how you don't care about this. Politics doesn't matter to you. The media blah blah blah blah. I don't vote blah blah blah.
Our relationship will have a serious new element of distrust.
Being for peace and doing nothing to stop the absolute fucking authoritarian cruelty it's just a big fucking middle finger to everyone being murdered and everybody who cares about being stripped of their rights. I don't care what kind of pacifist you think you are, or claim to be. Not voting against fascism and not even taking a fucking interest in voting against fascism is voting for fascism.
I'll say it again not voting against fascism, is a vote FOR FASCISM. And that is how my friends and millions of other apathetic Americans give me the middle finger every day, completely oblivious to their folly, and to the literal harm, disappointment and extreme frustration they cause others.
The ship has fucking wrecked, We are bailing out a life boat in a goddamn thunderstorm and there's a whole lot of people who don't even think it's fucking raining. And there's another part of the problem. This isn't an opinion issue this is something for you to know and act on immediately. We know it's raining. You don't get to think and have an opinion. When it comes to fascist takeover's by parties who support genocidal dictators, it's clear the time for action is now.

I appreciate your reply. How would you express the point of not electing another fascist leader and why that's not a good idea. And how would you make people feel the urgency of this literal political crisis. I'm very serious because I'm gonna be writing blogs about this for the next several months if not the next couple of years and I wanna know how I should say it so people like you will listen to me.

By the way this rant sounds like Mr. Rogers compared to my last couple audio blogs. I just don't know exactly how mellow to be about genocide and people who don't seem to understand that they support it through trump. And other people that don't seem to understand that it's happening at all.
There aren't many non-alarming ways to address genocide, dictatorship, autocracy, cruelty, oppression and fascism. And as long as people don't think it's happening, I'm not gonna be any more mellow about it in the coming months.
If this kind of straight up cruel nationalist, supremacist, fascist bullshit went away I wouldn't give a damn about politics and I would be posting music and healing blogs. First step to healing is healing the delusion.
