Dump, don't dip. That's what the fish cops always told us. For reference, the trout need to be dumped in because they can have difficulty reviving if they're set in. The dump helps the revive.
Thanks for clearing that up, I was wondering what exactly that meant and couldnt quite understand why, but that does make alot of sense.
That makes absolutely no sense other then the part of handling them
also to help prevent anything from the river contaminating the tank.
Now i know who to see if i ever need a buildning torn down! Always fun to help out with the stocking. Looked like they put some nice ones in there. Nice catch on the one that fell out of the bucket. Haha.
Haha waa the first building I ever tore down, took me 2 hours to get it tore down and 3 days to clean up haha. Dakota did make an excellent catch, i think that was the highlight of the whole video haha
Guy fish guy !! Best stocking truck driver in pa ! 🎣
Haha seemed like a very cool dood!!!
Never seen how they do this. Definitely an interesting video!
Sometimes they have a tube that comes out of the truck n they just dump them in that way. But seems like when its far away and multiple spots like this its just better to walk buckets down. Thanks for watchin!
The fish stocking in PA is a joke they put so many little fish it's sad when the amount of money they take from us each year could do so much better for are trout stocking
Yeah there were a couple big ones but mainly just small ones.
Nah I’m jealous u guys got it easy
They only stock a handful of "trophies" which are anything over 16 or 18 inches. It sucks because in my area, people talk. So once we hear a 22 and a 24 incher were caught, we all know not to expect anything over 14 inches lol
Next year they want to raise the price for a license
Agree
P.a. is also raising trout stamp price.
One day our govt will realize the people aren't making More money today, from yesterday
About two weeks ago here in Pennsylvania,
They just stocked the monocacy creek. I can but I can't wait till Saturday april 1st to get here. I need to do some fishing.
Great video and I enjoyed watching this
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watchin!!!

You're very welcome, I always like to watch trout fishing videos
You have been busy! Cool to see how this goes down. The stocking and the garage...
Haha i really have been, life gets like that at times. Was a lot of work to tear down and clean up but man watchin it fall was pretty cool hahha. Thanks for watchin!
@@fishinwithish agreed👍👍👍
Neat video ! I like the buckets ! lol.
Haha yano I was thinking the same thing! Thanks for watchin!!!
Stockers are a waste of money....all that money could be used to improve streams and water quality
Yeah I mean ultimately if you stop to think about it the whole stocking trout like this is pretty ridiculous. Like the trout raised in captivity to the point they destroy themselves on the concrete walls (being the primary way of identifying a stock trout from damage to its head and fins). Just to be dumped in a place completely alien to them and completely unprepared to live in those comditions just to have 1000s of people there to catch them and eat them. But then again look at where most of the worlds chicken and beef come from its also pretty disgusting. Ultimately humans are disgusting is what it comes down to, but yano also life is kinda disgusting too if u stop to think about it. Actually i should prolly just stop thinking about it hahaha.
@@fishinwithish a few places for kids I agree with wholeheartedly, but not how it's being done now. In PA they stock over wild bred browns, to thier detriment
@@seanb2604 i can agree with that completely if there are wild and native trout in those waters no stock trout should ever be put in there...100%.
Wish NH would stock quality trout like this.
It's funny how many people complained in the comments about the quality of fish they stocker, but I thought they stocked this little creek pretty good!!! Thanks for watchin!!!
I wish NC did it like this so they could spread the fish out more!
How do they do it in NC? Thanks for watchin!
I haven't done trout stoking in years! What part of Pa you from? Im up here in North Western Pa near Pymatuning! Great video and new sub!!
Were in southwest Pa like an hour below pittsburgh. Thanks for the sub man!
Yeah, a truckload less what i put in my pond and sold to my friends.
We got ripped off it rained. On stop it was so high it flushed them down the susky like a toilet
Lk11..i like brother...
Thanks!!!
Now I know what holes to hit on 4/1! j/k
Haha we were thinking the same thing! Honestly i personally havent fished these spots nor do i really know where they are but better believe they are on my list now!
Good memories
Were you there?
@@fishinwithish
I was not there but I remember doing that as a kid. Always looked forward to helping out the stocking for first day.
@@coreygillum12 ahhh thats awesome!!!
John Fetterman is the best thing that ever happened to Pennsylvania. Your remark was a little f’d up.
This video is over a year old and has almost 37000 views, and you're the first one to say anything about that... all that was mentioned was that he checked himself into a mental hospital... They were laughing because the camera was on, and she didnt realize that. There was no remark even made....
Should Never touch the fish.
Am i really watching this??..you call that stocking?.. Jesus.
Haha was the first time I have ever seen a stocking. I didn't know what to expect but I didnt think they would just be dumping buckets of trout in haha.
@@fishinwithishhow bout the fish just bouncing down off trucks like basketballs and hand bombing them from several metres away..then throwing them in the shallows like baseballs..
Ridiculous.!
@@Bruins-vq5ey Well the one bouncing off the truck was I assume and accident and is rare. As for the dumping even the buckets have printed on them "Dump don't Dip it" and people are told to throw them in. Also I will link a video From our states fish and boat commission stating the dumping is exactly what they want you to do. It was a shock to me also watching this for the first time, but aparently this is actually what's correct.
ua-cam.com/users/shorts0dUQW2u7SMI?feature=share
@@fishinwithish everything about that practice is wrong...should never touch the fish at any point
@@Bruins-vq5ey well i mean, thats what they are being put in there for? And if holding them is bad (hands were wet buckets were wet nets were wet) then wouldnt catch and release be bad but actually worse? I mean if you are saying the whole stock trout idea is bad then i am 100%agreeing (because if you think about it is a fairly disgusting idea)... But if your going to stock trout for enjoyment...why not enjoy them?
Hhhhhh, looks like this dude tossed a few on the rocks in 1to2 ft of water..and those fish were lively as F--k, so you really didn't need to beat the piss out of them.
Amen
@@Bruins-vq5ey huh, this is to funny. I was born in 1970 and I was a head chef for 7 years at Jay millers restaurant Down on the Cape..

@@Bruins-vq5ey so am retired now, and have been semipro bass angler ever since. 👍 These F--king kids on UA-cam are a joke , thinking they know everything about fish, fishing and boating.
